NetworkSolutions Reviews Summary

The company's reputation is marked by a stark divide in customer experiences. On one hand, some clients commend the quality of specific services, particularly in web design and SEO assistance, highlighting instances of exceptional customer support. However, a significant number of reviews reveal persistent issues, including slow response times, inadequate technical support, and billing disputes, which contribute to a growing sense of frustration among long-term users. Overall, while there are positive interactions, the prevailing sentiment underscores a troubling decline in service quality and reliability, prompting many customers to seek alternatives.

I ordered there hosting because it stated $0.50 per month for basic hosting so i signed up. First of all they have a horrible admin control panel and no standard cpanel hosting. Secondly the same day I ordered for 5 days in a row including the weekend i received 5 or more calls a day! When I finally answered the saleswoman aggressively tried to sell me a junk service that does not even come close to applying to my website I kept saying NO! And she kept going really Rude! Then 2 weeks go by and I check to see when my next payment is do and then I find the $0.50 was a 1 month promo and the actual price will be $14.95 a month for basic hosting! So I had to wait until today to cancel because they are not open at all on Saturdays. When I call to cancel another rude person in billing says why are you canceling. I said because the 50 cents was never mentioned as a promo anywhere and $14.95 for basic hosting is a joke. Then he says we are not going to apologize for price we have the best site builder you can Google it! I said I don't intent to ever use your site builder I already have a pre-built site. Then he says what are we going to do about your domain name. And I said I own it and register through Godaddy (Thank Goodness For That!) and he said oh I shouldn't have assumed you bought it from us. Then finally he gave me the confirmation code and said in a very condescending attitude, in a few months when you realize your new hosting is sub-par come back to us! So Unprofessional! STAY AWAY from thes rude unprofessional Sales Hounds with ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The told me they would build me a web site and bill me after its finished. The billed me twice the day after I signed up and have nothing to show for the $229.90 they stole from me. I'm sick of lying, cheating web companies taking hard earned money from working people and screwing them out of their money.

I purchased a logo for $0.99. The next year I begin being charge $9.95 twice each month... I let it go for the first two months. I just called in and was informed by Chris at Web Logo Yes that I signed up for a website starter kit that was free for the first 12 months and was $9.95 every 4 weeks afterwards... I told them I never signed up for this. Chris said it was in the fine print. I asked him if he thought that was deceitful. Of course he said no. I said I know you've heard this complaint before. He said no he has not. This is the first time it had been reported. I told him he was lying. He said he was not. I told him I've read the reviews and I know for a fact he is lying. Nothing else was said. DO NOT PURCHASE A LOGO UNLESS YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH A DECEITFUL SNEAKY COMPANY. I will never do business with them or recommend them to anyone. A company that sneaks charges into the fine print is not an upstanding company. The end.

Made a logo from them

Made a logo from them. They enroll you in a free website from web.com and then after a year, you get charged $9.95. All of this is not told to you until the charges come up on your credit card. Filing a complaint with the BBB for LogoYes and for Web.com for teaming up on this scam!

After fooling with the hot mess at Web.com we switched to a local company called Southern Content Queens and it was about the same price and our website doesn't look like an awful template any more. Sometimes a local company is the best choice.

If I could not give them a star at all I wouldn't. They were not a service I wanted. It was a mistake I made when downloading a program for one of my classes. I notified them on more than one occasion to cancel and the didn't, they charged me the $99.99, so I reported them to the BBB and they then only refunded me $99,00. REALLY, this is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life and working with professionals. They should not be allowed to do what they are doing.

Some bullet point features they sold us on (google coupons), turns out they don't even offer. And took awhile just to call them to find out. And the other features I've already done myself. But I did get 1 helpful observation re: our meta title, so its not a total loss yet. Other than that not quite sure what they really do.

On Nov, 14,2013 against my better judgement I agreed to try their Ignite Marketing for my recording studio web page. Pearmainstudio. Com. I did not expect web. Com which purchased my hosting company, Network Solutions to be able to make me appear in search engines; google, bing, yahoo, etc. as promised by Anthony, the telemarketing salesman with the 'nice' voice. And they could not. They would not work with me. In known two party recorded calls they stated "We cannot tell you what to do in an email. We can not send emails. You are allowed a monthly courtesy call" Like trying to describe the taste of a banana verses just showing me, they were completely useless at SEO and marketing. I asked them to view my page source, what should I change? No response. We can't do that.

It was only a $98 cost to confirm what I knew to be true, web.com is as useless as tits on a bull.

They confirmed that my account is cancelled before the next month's billing cycle of Dec 18,2013. If not that will be another credence to their uselessness.

Be Well

We signed up for what they called the "ignite marketing" package. The package includes marketing of your web site on google places and the creation of a Facebook page or the marketing or your existing FB pages. Results? Almost 300$ thrown in the garbage. The web site could not be found online and among the 300 likes we got on FB (with a page largely designed by us) were all not interested to our business, they just "liked" the page for no apparent reasons. Don't use this "services" it's just wasting money.

Under NO circumstances sign up with this company. To say that they are ripping people off of their hard earned money is an understatement. They claim they can build a site in 4-5 days. It took them 4 months to build mine and after they failed to deliver it (publish), I cancelled my account. Yet they still charged me for it (even though my site WAS NEVER published)! How can they get away with this type of service is beyond me.

I have used web.com as a hosting provider for my web site for about 6 years. A couple of weeks ago, looking at bank account statements, I found out that I was getting billed on a monthly basis. So I called web.com and asked them to change my monthly billing cycle to a yearly billing cycle. But instead of changing my payment plan they shut down my entire web site! I found out 2 weeks (I was traveling) that my web site was not working anymore. I called web.com support and they said that accounting did a mistake and accidentally shut down my site. Additionally web.com didn't have any backup since they delete their backups after 2 weeks!
Warning! Stay away from this company especially if you are running a business site!

I am 62 years old and I have never dealt with a more incompetent company in my life. They were charging me $98.00 a month for marketing and I told them they had no idea how to market my product and that I wanted to manage the site myself. This is after paying them around $800.00. I told them to drop the marketing which dropped my monthly fee to $119.51 a year. But in order to do this I had to pay them $1000. 00. I was so sick of dealing with them I paid them.
The day I paid them my email stopped working. Then my Shop Now Page stopped working and at this point my whole web site doesn't even exist. Since the 18th of September I have spent hours most every day talking to different employees and they all tell me the same thing " we understand your frustration but we are working on it. When you type in www.martinwing.com instead of going to my site you get a message FORBIDDEN, You don't have permission to access/ on this site. I have given up on them and am disputing every charge that I legally can. The bank tells me I can only dispute charges less that 60 days old.

As with the other users who have reviewed this site, I would recommend staying away! They have obviously ripped off enough people to be able to start flooding the TV with enticing ads. Hopefully, people will read these reviews before spending their money here!

Calling my bank tomorrow to report fraud and cancel the card. Do not use this site. They issue receipts for the correct amount but deduct more than that from your account with no disclosure.
