NetworkSolutions Reviews Summary

The company's reputation is marked by a stark divide in customer experiences. On one hand, some clients commend the quality of specific services, particularly in web design and SEO assistance, highlighting instances of exceptional customer support. However, a significant number of reviews reveal persistent issues, including slow response times, inadequate technical support, and billing disputes, which contribute to a growing sense of frustration among long-term users. Overall, while there are positive interactions, the prevailing sentiment underscores a troubling decline in service quality and reliability, prompting many customers to seek alternatives.

Avoid these scammers at all cost. They (or their subsidiaries, like Logoyes.com) like to include "free starter kits" or some such bull$#*! to your orders, and then start charging you for them after a while - without any notice, invoice or confirmation, obviously.

I recommend that you do not use LogoYes. They are sleazy.

I used them exactly one year ago to buy a logo. Today I discovered a bogus $9.95 charge from them on my credit card. Apparently when I purchased my logo, they set up some crazy unrelated program so that if I don't cancel within the next year, they'd charge me on a recurring basis -- but they didn't tell me about it. I certainly don't recommend agreeing to anything like that. When I called to ask them to refund it, they were not able to refund the charges immediately, but said they would take several days to make a decision. They call it a "promotion", but personally I call it a scam.

I think this is a sleazy way of doing business. I don't recommend you spend your money with LogoYes; there are plenty of other hard-working businesses out there that you can use.

I was very excited because I found register.com and wanted to purchase a domain name. So I created an account and signed up for the $0.50 plan (just the domain name). Within two minutes of registering, if even, I received a call and immediately, they began trying to sign me up for a $150 plan. I told the person on the phone I was not interested over three times and the only thing it did was "lower the price, just for me." Next, I received an email saying my information was not protected but if I paid a monthly fee of $11.00 it could be! Needless to say, I called the company and requested for my account to be deleted and my information to be erased. I will not be going with them again nor would I recommend their website to even my enemy. It is nothing but a trap to lure you into unnecessary fees and advertisement.

CROOKED CROOKED CROOKED CROOKED CROOKED CROOKED CROOKED

Received email saying my CC on file was expired. Somehow (I don't know how) they found my new CC number & charged me over $100.
Trying to delete my CC from the account & delete it. The notice I got was: 'You can not delete this item because it is the payment method for services currently enrolled in our Saferenew program. Please change your saferenew settings or contact customer service for assistance.'

My hold time has been over 20 minutes.

How did they get my new CC number when I never posted it?

Fast talking, slick salesman. Even told me that I could trust him because he was diagnosed with melanoma and his reputation was all that he had. I've been a Network Soluitions (now a web.com subsid) e-comm customer for 13 years. I wanted to upgrade the site and add some SEO services. Initial payment was to be approx $400. They slammed $637 of charges and an additonal $600 of credit holds on my card even though I cancelled 1 day later because they couldn't deliver on the upgrades. They promised to reverse the charge but haven't. STAY AWAY.

I trusted this company but it turned out to be disappointment. I thought register.com has been around for years and I registered my domain with them (more expensive!) over godaddy (cheaper) which I use for all other domains (which I think not so important). However, all my other domains with godaddy never have any issues but my main domain with register.com went down for over 3 days! They were unable to renew my domain name due to their system bug. I kept calling them and every time I had to explain everything ALL OVER AGAIN. Until one of their staffs HANG UP on me because I was tired of explaining again and again and said "Just check your records of what issues I am having!". I called again and asked for supervisor, she can't do anything either to renew my domain. Then this time my phone got disconnected and she (they) NEVER ring me back. I waited 12 hours for a call back but NEVER HAPPENED. I called again and somehow this guy fixed the issue and he didn't know why other guys couldn't help me. So I didn't call them back and I would be waiting for nothing and my site would still be down. So beware of this website register.com, WORST SUPPORT, WORST SYSTEM, and WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.

It was awful, they were deplorable from customer service to the overall product. I would highly recommend Weebly for web domain names and design.

Web.com guaranteed a 30 trial with no questions asked on cancellation and a guarantee of "100 new customers every month". By linking us to every google search for similar businesses in our surrounding area. After seeing the $300.00 website was the same one you can get from yahoo for $17.00 a month, I canceled on their survey that they send to your email. That way they control any record of dissatisfaction. They called me two weeks later to get me to change my mind and then submitted a new "updated" contract. They are still charging my capitalone business card. Even with them keeping the website in question up we've only had one person, a regular customer mention finding us on the internet.

Ripped off
February 7, 2009

Ripped off - Web.com gave me very little for my money, then when I called to terminate my contract, did not do as I asked, but continued to bill my account. Then, they have refused to credit my account saying that they performed the services requested. The services requested were that they terminate my account. Steer crear at all costs!

Network Solutions e-commerce store hard to manage - I'm not a programmer, but for a medical business I've set up I've been using Network Solutions' e-commerce package. It's not hard to use, but the interface is often frustrating (click on a link and lose all the data you just entered), and I've found it difficult to customize the product pages and much of the web store. However, I was able to integrate the Network Solutions shopping cart with Google Checkout and Google Analytics, which I found useful.

Overall, Network Solutions is not hard to use, but if you want a flexible e-commerce solution I would stay away from it (although I don't have a better recommendation right now).

Worst Web Designer in History! - I have never experienced a nightmare like this one. The sales people of this site have lied, the designers are inept and it's cost me a small fortune for me to have an unworkable site that no one can help me with that has been over charging me for 7 months now. They owe me over 1000. 00 and after saying ok, now they are requesting additional paperwork from years ago which I don't recall getting to begin with to refund me. I have sent hundreds of emails to no avail. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with and I hope someday someone can somehow put a stop to them. Taking advantage of a small business owner who admitadly doesn't know anything about designing a website who was promised the world and given nothing is inexcusable. Shame on them! I want to go after this company. I am going to contact an attorney but in the meanwhile I'd like to check on what if anything a site like this one can help. I sure hope so. I'm at my witts end.
