I've been very pleased with the staff web dot com so far. They are motivated, seem to be very in tune with how to promote my business and flexible in their approach. They've made several changes that I requested with complete ease and are not shy about expressing an opinion.
Their customer service is excellent! Thus far we have not had any issues so far. We were told that our call volume would increase between 52-74 win on one month, well we exceeded and received 83 calls total with in one month. Kim, Sherry, Walter and other Web.com representatives have been very attentive and have answered all questions we have had. Lead Stream is very user friendly and one thing I really like about it is that any missed opportunity we have, we can call them right back. We receive an email as soon as a call is made as well as it always being available on Lead stream. So far all that was promised for our company has been true. Our website has improved tremendously focusing on services we offer, it took most of my marketing work away. Thank you all at web.com you guys are lifesavers.
Marty was excellent from start to finish! Our time on the phone was lengthy because he really took his time and spoke to me and my co-Owner about our information and full details for our website. He was patient, kind, and thorough. I didn't feel rushed with Marty, and I felt that I could easily give him all the details needed to build an awesome website! Some agents have made me feel rushed and it left me to just figure things out in my own, or hopefully get another representative. Marty was excellent and I would recommend him to anyone looking to build a website... hopefully they will be lucky enough to get transferred to him. I'm sure glad I was!
The staff was very helpful as i am quite dumb to setting up websites, they talked me through everything. Constance and Erin were a true please to speak with, so excited to start my new adventure with their company!
We signed up for 3 months of service with web.com believing they would provide 9-15 new leads per month. After agreeing, another rep called to get permission to get into our google business page which I presumed was so that they could create ads. Our google page was already getting 29 hits per month so was doing good for us. Instead of running any ads of their own, their team went into our google page, eliminated our phone number and put on their own fake number that rings through to our real one, eliminated our real website and put on their own fake website, and then pretends as if its work has generated some leads for us. When I saw they did this, I put back our data on our google page and emailed customer service. "Lee" a team member called, apologized, explained that they didn't need to do that in order to provide us with service, and I figured it was fine. Come a couple of days later and we start getting "leads" so I thought, "oh good, they are doing something" so I log into my google page, just to be sure and once again, their "team" has went into my google page and eliminated my phone number and my website AGAIN! I can see that not one dollar of my nearly three thousand has went to them making any sort of ad that people might see. This company is either fraudulent or incompetent. I definitely will not use them at all once my three months expires.
Have used Leadstrem lead stream for the agreement of 3 months they are charging for months past agreement. Not to be trusted. I have been in contact with the service and I have never signed anything agreeing past 3 months period. They are not easy to get ahold of LONG wait times.

Just a note, small businesses come to you with a basic concept in mind, but may not really know what they want. Having data and content and graphics may not be in the bag yet, just an idea. We depend on your expertise and creativity to provide a framework to work in. I got a little frustrated with the 1 1/2-hour barrage of questions for which I really don't have answers to. If I had to say well, is there a site that you really like in how it is laid out and functions, I would say well yes; we really like how http://www.onefederalsolution.com/ looks and feels. Can we do something like this based on what we current have.
We know the website we currently use is not much and don't need to be told what is wrong with it, that is why we are coming to you to for help. Heck, if it was neat and fancy, we would not have bothered.

Honestly, the worst when it comes to knowledge. The transfers I went thru JUST to get one piece of information. 6 times I was transferred and not one person could help until I asked to be transferred to the cancellation department. Look for another hosting service. 3 years of wasted time and money.

Really worth it. Signed up in July and it has more than proved itself. The keep in contact, go through your leads with you and continue to target your ads. Dashboard is also very user friendly.

I've had only one interaction and so far so good, positive interaction with Kyle. He's was very detail oriented. I am hoping that this is going to help me get my site updated. That said I've had one interaction time will tell.
We signed up at the beginning of June for a very targeted SEO. The first call the guy called my cell phone (not the business) and was a no show. He then put up a mirror website with the wrong domain and company name. Finally got a wonderful rep who got it all straightened out... but promised the contract would not start until the site was up... guess what?... was auto-billed back to the wrong date. They do not assign you a rep with an extension or personal email. You must go through there mass of people in hopes of a return call or email. Last follow-up, the rep AGAIN was a no-show for our scheduled meeting time. In 3 months I have only received 2 calls pertaining to the business. There were another 19 who were junk calls - wrong numbers, wrong cities, etc. Wasted an enormous amount of my time and money. I am asking for every penny of it back and have disputed the charges on my credit card. BEWARE!

I had a website designed and I needed to get one update done and they never did it. They put the website on another hosting package that I don't have access to. They want you to give them your domain. I want a refund.

Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.

Answer: I was working with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center when I began my business. She advised me to register my LLC and then to go to Register.com to buy the domain name before anyone else could. Later on, she suggested Register when I was looking for hosting.
