The company has a mixed reputation, with some customers appreciating its extensive library of content and user-friendly interface, which enhances the viewing experience. However, numerous complaints highlight significant dissatisfaction with rising subscription costs, technical issues like slow loading times, and customer service inadequacies. Many users express frustration over billing problems and the perceived decline in content quality, particularly regarding Netflix originals. Overall, while the platform remains popular for its variety, the growing concerns about service reliability and customer support suggest a need for improvement to retain loyal customers.

We log in from 3 different homes during the week as I babysit grandkids. Guess it will be Hulu for us now! Do better Netflix. When you do better I will subscribe again.
I've been a customer of Netflix since it launched In Ontario, Canada. The prices keep climbing and the entertainment is on a landslide. I am all about diversity and the occasional B-C rated movie but come on now step up your game if you're going to keep my bill rising. I'm grateful for a competitive market, therefore shopping around. I would like to remain a loyal customer so give quality services. Jennifer B Thunder Bay
I have a college student who under other circumstances would be "at home", however for at least the next 3-6 years he is in another city. So now I have to feed the pathetic CEO and Board members who are clearly suffering in this economy! Boo fckn Hoo! What a $#*!hole corporation!
It's a shame that my kids can't go to their grandparents house and watch my Netflix account cause their favorite shows are on there and since Netflix wants to verify ip addresses. Netflix I'm pretty sure y'all will lose a lot of customers from this as streaming services are commonly shared with friends and families and especially with elderly family who don't have much money for entertainment. I know myself, my brother, and at least 10 friends are going to be canceling your service and looking for something else. If I pay for 4 streams then it shouldn't matter who else uses it since I'm paying for my 4 streams to be used how ever I want. Y'all are trying to control and limit people and a lot of us ain't haven it. So thanks for all the years since I've been a customer since 2014 but not anymore after this.
Netflix is on za frl cuz now i can't watch Netflix because im not in my cousins household. How am i going to be in their household if they're 4 hours away from me. And if they wanted to add another household member it would charge them extra like nah Netflix if they lose people and subscriptions thats their fault because this is the reason why Netflix has been hit it's because of password sharing. I've been using my cousins account for years and now they want to pull this bs of a stunt.
Avoid Netflix if possible. My account was hacked, when I contacted Netflix they informed me that it was my fault and they could not recover the account because the hacker had changed login and payment methods so I could not access account to cancel it even though I could verify all but the new email the hacker had added.
Netflix agreed to close the account in question and assured me that as the payment method had been changed I would not be charged. Two weeks later I see a charge from Netflix for monthly service. I immediately contacted Netflix about they charge and was informed that the hacker had had the account restored and my card was backup payment method. All this even though Netflix rep had assured me this was impossible.
Almost 2 hours on phone with Netflix and they have promised to refund the stolen funds and claim to have removed card info. But as they are not a trustworthy company and accounts are vulnerable I will now have to change debit cards
Its a solid platform for tv/movies although they tend to cancel some original shows that get great reviews by audiences. I recently switched to a lower quality version of netflix (no HD) because i dont need it with the current tv i have (and i wanted to save a few bucks). Its led to certain shows needing to buffer or will stop playing the video while the audio continues. Id made the decision to cancel netflix seeing as others using my acc wont be able to since they dont live in the same location. Since that decision the buffering has gotten worse so Im happy to be signing off for good. Also with VPNs if theres a show i really want to watch ill just download it now, i wish id done this sooner and saved some $
I like Netflix and have had the service for many years. I am not going to say anything negative about it. I am just concerned about what I've heard in the news regarding limiting the number of users to 2 per household. I travel and I am a teacher. If I go to visit my kids, we use Netflix in their houses. At school, the students and I watch movies on Netflix sometimes as incentive, if we stay in a hotel we use Netflix. I use Netflix on my iPhone, iPad, laptops, etc. If Netflix decides to put these limits on their customers and ask for more money to use the service in other places, I will be unsubscribing.
Not worth it. Everyone on account has to be on same internet. No sharing allowed. I cancelled got hulu
A disgusting company that only cares about money and not the viewers experience or their own writers. They cut shows before they're complete before their contracts take full effect so they don't get payouts. Anyone who travels now can't use their platform and it's obvious the only thing they care about is their bottom line. With so many streaming platforms now, it is not worth the price. Disgusting behavior.
You will lose and are losing new customers due to this new rule. Your company is most concerned about money money money. Putting Money before your customers you will Fall.
Who cares if people share passwords. By sharing most people will end up signing up for their own subscription. The way you are going about this is guaranteeing your company will lose and is losing subscribers and in time will fall. Love how this determines your credibility on reviews. Lmao
I have been subscribing to Netflex for 17 years. Honestly I don't watch it but a few times a month. Last year Netflix changed the plans and I started paying over $20 per month not that original $7 I started with. I have 2 fire sticks in my house and travel with a third. I was recently stopped during logging into the system and informed that all devices must work within same WiFi address. I called in and was informed that was correct. As a weekly business traveler I enjoy watching my Firestick from the hotels I stay in. Unfortunately Netflex will not be on my Firestick anymore. I am the only person in my household. Only 1 log in a time! Netflix didn't think this through! But on a positive note, I saved $21.64 a month! All my other services are free! Good bye Netflix!
Netflix, just like other companies, only cares about money and not their consumers. They constantly increase costs without any benefit to the consumer, which in turn makes it easier for the rich and wealthy to benefit more.
Is there no limit to what your platform is prepared to show. Seriously? You're all quantity and no quality. Dubious shady titles with equally below the belt picture titles. Offensive. Any more of this trend then calling it quits. Hopefully others will follow.
The price of their service wasn't even worth it when sharing was possible, and now it they expect every person to pay the full price. This non-password sharing move was the MOST IDIOTIC move they could choose to make.
I strongly suggest everyone to cancel their subscription and move to better and newer platforms!
Goodbye Netflix.
They were good in 2011 when I started with 4 screens at 12.99. Now it's 21.09 and not only do they control HOW many TVs you can use they now control WHERE those screens are and charge you more to use ot outside of your home. With an autistic child who uses her shows as a claiming method this is disgusting. Charge you tons to watch yet wastes millions of dollars on one program contract. They expect us to pay more to make up for thier bad business choices
I've been an avid Netflix member for years now. Even with the rise in pricing and decline in content, I've still had a number of movies and shows that have kept me on the Netflix train. However, after hearing the upcoming "update" to Netflix, I have canceled my membership. And everyone else should too. Netflix is following along side the rich and choosing to punish those who choose to do what the please with THEIR account that THEY are paying for. The new update will force members to tie their Netflix account to a specific WiFi or Address in order to access their account. In addition, if you are spent more than 30 days outside of this WiFi or Address YOU WILL BE CHARGED ADDITIONALLY. This is complete BS. Firstly, I am not paying to be dictated about what I do with my account. If I want to watch a show on my account at a friend's house, I have the right to do that. Moreover, I have a trip coming up this summer that will be a little over a month long. I wanted to bring my ROKU so that I could watch my favorite shows…but, according to the "new rule," I'll be charged extra because I'm not at my home address? Are you kidding Netflix? Goodbye. I'll be donating my money to every other streaming platform EXCEPT you, alongside all of the thousands of now ex-Netflix members. If your goal was to lose a lot of money instead of making more of it, congratulations, you've succeeded.
I don't use netflix anymore wanna know why because netflix says that if u share an netflix account with your family or friends u get paid extra and i don't want that, cant affort that. One of the reasons i watch free movies on the internet. Never getting Netflix in my life again cant pay 100 dollars a month for real.
I am cancelling my subscription because it is becoming obvious that Netflix has very little to offer their customer's. Enough with the Royals. Netflix seems to be fixated on the Royal family, especially Prince Harry and his horrible wife. I do not want one penny of what I pay to subscribe to go into either one of their pockets.
Answer: They do not, but he can listen to stand up shows I guess
Answer: Ohh finally someone thats having the same problem... Netflix always blames my Wi-Fi but, I know thats not the problem. Considering canceling.
Netflix offers streaming movies and TV shows in addition to a DVD by mail rental service.
