I bought both a KastKing baitcasting reel/rod and a spinning reel/rod. The baitcasting reel failed after less than 10 hours fishing time... poor engineering and cheap materials resulted in an internal gear failure. The spinning rod is made using cheap line guides and on 3rd fishing trip the insert of the tip guide were flying down the line.

Customer service wanted me to take and send videos to get permission to return the defective items for replacement. This brand has cost me enough time and money that I don't want replacements... there is no room in my boat for KastKing tackle as I prefer gear that works when I pick it up.

Avoid Netflix if possible. My account was hacked, when I contacted Netflix they informed me that it was my fault and they could not recover the account because the hacker had changed login and payment methods so I could not access account to cancel it even though I could verify all but the new email the hacker had added.

Netflix agreed to close the account in question and assured me that as the payment method had been changed I would not be charged. Two weeks later I see a charge from Netflix for monthly service. I immediately contacted Netflix about they charge and was informed that the hacker had had the account restored and my card was backup payment method. All this even though Netflix rep had assured me this was impossible.

Almost 2 hours on phone with Netflix and they have promised to refund the stolen funds and claim to have removed card info. But as they are not a trustworthy company and accounts are vulnerable I will now have to change debit cards

How many have been taken in by the RootsMagic 8 scam/vaporware? I was looking to upgarde my genealogy software so I bought into the lie that RootsMagic 8 would be released "soon" and buying version 7 would include the upcoming release. These people have been selling their v. 7 with a free license for a non-existant v. 8 for well over a year now promising a free upgrade "when available". They certainly took me for $30, and a year and a half later the promised upgrade is still just a rumor.
