NCL Untrustworthy
October 17, 2022

Plan your own airline transportation. Don't allow NCL to plan your flight. It will ruin your trip.
Choose your own room. I trusted NCL to choose my room. They put me in a lower grade room than I had paid for. I asked for a refund for the difference between the room costs NCL refused. Fairness doesn't matter you paid in full. Take it or leave it, your screwed.
After you pay, you must sign a contract under duress that you will not join a class action suit against NCL. If you don't agree to all demands you lose your money.
Have a nice Trip!

NCL Nightmare from Hell! Just found an email from NCL that they have cancelled my cruise, not the whole cruise just a few of us. Seems they randomly chose people to cancel. No phone call, just found the email when I went into my NCL account to check my excursions. Keep in mind everything was paid in full and booked over a year ago. NEVER, EVER booking with this company again!

Don't Book with NCL
April 23, 2023

The customer service and the lack of trying to resolve and issue for the guest is horrendous.
Booked three cabins and they didn't book the party on the same flight. I called several times and the lack of compassion and interest in trying to resolve the issue for our family was so disappointing. I will never book a vacation with NCL and neither would I recommend this cruise line to any friends or family. Very disappointing.

Poor customer service. My husband and I each had credits of $460.20 on our accounts for a future cruise. I tried to book a cruise for me and my 3 children, and tried to use my husband's credit toward one of our children, and they wouldn't let us. But even worse, when I booked the cruise, they only gave me $299 of the $460.20 credit for me. I decided to cancel, and never cruise with them again.

Scam over it
November 15, 2022

My first cruise ever was with ncl. I fell in love with cruising, and proclaimed it the best vacation ever and got many friends and family to partake. I have been on three of ncls cruises to date. Last one right after covid that was a disaster. I am trying to cruise again with my family that has already booked thanks to me. Granted I am trying to find a good deal but come on. I looked a month ago and it was under current sale price 4500 for what I wanted. Fair but wanted better. I get a mailing about black friday sales. Same sailing same everything is two thousand dollars more. If that's a sale I am going to carnival and my family will follow. Contacting them to cancel after I find a better price. Shame on you. Ncl taking advantage of loyal customers

Booked cruise including flight and extended stay after for 2 days in quebec. Just got flight notice today 50 days out and flight from Montreal not quebec. Was told no flights from quebec that is lie 12 flights from quebec. We would have to pay extra for train from quebec to Montreal. Asked if could cancel extra days in quebec hotel and would charge a $400+ fee. We could have taken a ncl shuttle to montreal for $75 but not eligible because staying in hotel ncl booked for us. So if u don't want to pay extra costs at end don't use Ncl. This cruise is from Boston and ending in quebec. If u don't spend extra days in quebec u will not see quebec

Norwegian Dawn
March 18, 2023

This has been the worst cruise I have ever been on in over 15+ cruises. From over 3 hours to board the ship to the worst service I have ever seen on a cruise ship beware. I would go elsewhere. 1 star because 0 wasn't an option.

NCL advertises GREAT offers, but you'll never see those discounts. Then they tell you that you should be happy to get the cruise at the price they want you to pay, but refuse to acknowledge that their math doesn't make sense. Cruise offer was $399 for an inside cabin for a 7 day cruise out of New Orleans, with 70% off second guest and 3rd guest free. How in the world of simple math does that then equate to $1200? At FULL price of $399, I'd get $1200, but not at 70% off with free 3rd guest. 3 reps now and they still can't, or won't explain it. When you get to the final screen for payment, and click to show price breakdown, it reflects over $519 per guest, which certainly is NOT $399 and 70% off for second guest (port fees are added at the end and not figured in the $519). Looks like I'll just stick with other cruise lines where simple math rings true and the fare is what it's listed as without bait and switch. Do yourself a favor, stick with Disney, Carnival, or RCL.

Never Again Norwegian
December 2, 2023

OMG, Norwegian sucks. My family, 2 parents and 4 teens, went on a Thanksgiving cruise. Parents have cruised many, mant times so we tried Norwegian for this family cruise. When booking, everything is a, "YES of course." Then once you board the answer to everything was no! Food was mediocre unless you paid for upgraded restaurants which have limited availability. All service was poor beacuse the ship is so understaffed. Excursions are unreasonably expensive. Boarding took forever. Onboard credit women is so rudeand unhelpful. Stick with Royal Carribean or Princess.

Low morality
September 20, 2023

Everyone appears friendly and helpful as long as you swipe your card to pay. However, when tragedy strikes, everyone becomes silent, indifferent, and arrogant. This was my experience during a cruise aboard the Norwegian Viva in August 2023.

One evening, while attending a theater performance, the fire alarm went off due to technical problems, and the lounge was flooded with water (I hope it was just water): it was a nightmare! People were running, screaming, and slipping. I managed to find cover next to the stage with my wife and our five-year-old daughter, who was crying in terror. As we hurriedly made our way, the panic door closed, leaving us uncertain about what to do or where to go. No one provided information or guidance. Eventually, we escaped and ran into the main hall, drenched and terrified. Sadly, we received no assistance or help from anyone. We even risked slipping and being trampled upon with a small child in my arms, yet we received no apology! It was a complete silence surrounding this incident. It seems they want to keep it hushed!

I filed an official complaint on their website, and after 20 days, their response was rather simple: "We offer $50 in onboard credit per cabin for use in a future booking. Please get in touch with me again, providing the new booking number, so that I can apply the $50 credit."

Why should I book with a company that left me dissatisfied in the first place? This appears to be their moral standpoint! I strongly advise you to avoid this company!

NCL scam
December 3, 2023

The sales pitch to us they want $3K lump sum to guarantee them 12 more cruises with them. Food was horrible there was Ham & corn on Pizza, Dill Pickles & Beets in stroganoff. A major sewer back up all of deck 5 no compensation. Music at the pool was funeral music. The shows I have seen high school level better than that. The cheesecake was Jello form. The list just goes on & on!

PRICE DROP
November 2, 2022

Today the price dropped on my paid for cruise on the Sky sailing on January 13th., 2023. I was told by the rep that if price dropped, NCL would make an offer for the difference. Today I was offered an upgrade which is not available or a certificate for the discounted price on a future sailing to use within one year of this certificate. I suggested either a shipboard credit or possibly an additional specialty restaurant. Obviously NCL is not interested with a past client of some 9 cruises with NCL. I guess there are options on my part on our future cruises.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CRUISE LINE
March 4, 2023

Ok,when we first enquired about the cruise, they offered all sorts of discounts. 2 weeks later when we decided to go, all those discounts were gone. We had to pay $ 1000 more. Sooo we gave these crooks $ 8000 and some change. Later we found out that we had to have passports. (ours had expired). So we called Norwegian. They said that we did not have to have passports then later called back and said we did and if we did not get them in a week we would forfeit all of our money. Ok, We paid another $1000 to expidite our passports. When we tried to check in online the app kept rejecting our photos. I called again and the ncl line rep said there was nothing that they could do and to use a smart phone. I told her that we are Senior Citizens and I don't have a smart phone. I have a flip phone -- She said too bad.
Later I found out that the ncl rep have scheduled us to fly to Miami in the middle of the night.
What More Can I Say --- NEVER AGAIN NCL!

The Greatest Agent
August 11, 2022

If anyone needs a cruise agent look no further than JASON BROWN. He will go out of his way to help with anything and everything. He's knowledgeable courteous and professional and a hell of a great guy. My wife and I wish him the best with his career because he is sincerely dedicated to NCL.

Norwegian Cruise Line is my favorite cruise line, and I have found that their website is often the very best place to find deals on their cruises. Don't forget to take advantage of their many discounts which include the AARP discount (code: AARP1) and my personal favorite the last minute deals http://www.ncl.com/specials-and-promotions/last-minute-deals

We were told that gratuities were included and they were an additional 400.00 during registration. Then we purchased the drink package, and then during registration they wanted an additional 498.00 per person for premium drinks. What a scam! We just signed up yesterday for this cruise for 4000.00, and we have been on several cruises with Royal Carribian, and Priness, and have never experienced this. Avoid Norwegian.

Let me educate you and save you
March 28, 2023

DO NOT use Norwegian cruise lines ever. You will find that they're not helpful. Once they have their money they will provide no customer service. They refused to allow us to fly in early for a trip to Europe. Their response was cancel the flight service with them for a refund of 25% of what you paid for the round trip tickets and book your own. Most intelligent people when going on a cruise want to get there early and enjoy the day before boarding the cruise ship. Their idea of a good vacation is flying you in the day before on a red eye so that you are literally exhausted from your flight before you board the ship. Does that sound like customer service to you?

A trip that cost nearly 5 digits (10,000) and they refused to alter anything, refused to allow us to fly early, refused everything that we tried to do for our honeymoon. I guarantee you it will be the first and the last time that we utilize Norwegian Cruise Lines for anything. I don't care if they're giving the trips away.

They are a trash company that won't allow their teleworkers to change or assist with anything. It would be an outright joke of a business except for the fact that they're robbing people blind then telling them to enjoy their trip.

So I'm on the phone with the agent at NCL and ask if the Gratuities are included. She says yes they are included with the food and bar. Great I just got back from a NCL Cruise in October and all the gratuities were paid. Awesome! Then I look at my receipt after I put my deposit down and I don't see free gratuities. So I called and they turn around and tell me that I get free gratuities for food and bar but I have to pay gratuities for service. So now I booked four people $12,000 cruise and they're playing games. All they had to do was be transparent with me. They should've told me that the food and beverage gratuity was free but you have to pay for your room service $20 a day. But they didn't. I was like that's another $900 so I canceled the whole cruise. They are going to lose a lot of customers this way. They're playing games with valued customers. This valued customer is not coming back. BE CAREFUL EVERYONE!
