Honestly so sorry I ever even went on nasty gals site. Ordered clothes for my holiday, and unable to wear most of it. Some items clearly worn before, sizing is so small, I got sent two items the wrong size, and items look extremely different to photos. The cutsomer service is an absolute sham, so clearly people who dont check any your order, or dont care enough to event create a decent reply.
I've had similar experience as many reviews on here. Ordered something 2/28/17, paid, never received anything. I've contacted them 15+ times, with only automatic responses. Finally, today, someone emailed me saying they can't/won't be shipping me my item (ordered it for a wedding, fun) and that I should contact my bank to get a refund. AWESOME. Not only do I not get the item I wanted, I also get to battle the bank on my own. Never doing business with them again.
This site is a total scam! After you place your order and funds have come out of your account, they send you a bogus email with no working tracking number and it wasn't even in proper English! Thank goodness I got my money back from my bank but save yourself the aggravation and do not buy from this company!

Went on Nasty Gal site and saw they had live chat! Thought I would check it out and had so much fun chatting with the agent! She gave me great fashion advice and just an overall fun experience. I will definitely buy from them in the future!
NastyGal deleted my account, along with my store credit, when they changed management. I've contacted customer service to have the credit re-applied and they responded that it would be within 3-5 business days. Well, I write them every 5 business days for two months now and they continue to respond with a resolution within "3-5 business days." I'm seeing a lot of people having this experience and it's shameful. They've literally stolen our money and are giving us the run around in returning it. Really shameful business.
I've never seen a worse clothing quality in my entire life. Bought 20 pieces at once and only kept 2. Between: terrible fabric, wrong cut, worse fit, wrong color. Nothing looks like on their website. I fell even worse thinking about the people in Mumbai who made that pieces of crap. In the end, I returned a mountain of useless fabrics that for sure will not be used by anybody never.
So I bought a pair of denim shorts, a leather biker jacket, cargo pants, and a belt. The clothes are in good shapes, and it fits me well! The size chart is correct.
Shipping is 3 days late, and Idk about return quality. But overall, Nasty Gal has not been deserved all the hate.
When I order from them, I typically spend about $1000. Since my very first order, they have sent atleast one wrong item. They consistently mess up. I've never shopped at a place that has messed up on almost every order. They may send something that is the same color or fabric, but a completely different product. Nasty gal is pretty strange.
I had been a long time loyal customer of Nasty Gal prior to Boohoo taking over. Despite my reluctance, I decided to recently purchase an order. I needed it within 7 days, so I paid extra to have my package expedited. Not only was the package late to the point that I no longer could use the clothing for the original purpose, but there was also a dress missing. I messaged first to try to get a refund on the money I paid extra for expedited shipping, no response. I just also messaged about the missing item and hope to get a refund for it or the item I purchased. I most likely will no longer be shopping with Nasty Gal :(
There are good and bad point to this site. The customer service really is a nightmare with this shop, I was sent automated messages everytime I tried to ask a question and was given inaccurate information, for example requesting whether a top would be restocked I was told all sales were final and it would not, but by chance came across the top again several days later. I also have several glitches with the system where I would be mid purchase and it would delete my tote. However once I bought the items I found delivery very quick, prices sort of fair for the standards I got, colours were decently accurate online compared to real life, as were sizes, and somehow the package was delivered without me being stung for customs fees. I bought six items and was only disappointed with one - due to the apricot colour being a lot more sickly in real life. If it werent for the bad customer service I would happily give a 4!
I received my order yesterday (which came late). And in my large order i received "Such a Square Bodysuit".
Not only did it have a hole in the front. I went to try it on an the crotch had a yellowish stain on it and i went to sniff because i was like "surely not" and to my HORROR it smelt like someone had 100% worn this before me. This Was clearly someone else's return - where NG obviously didn't check before they sent it on to the next person. Not only is this totally disgusting but it's completely unhygienic! I feel disgusted and blown away that they would think this was acceptable to send this to someone.
Well im from the UK and the whole shipping experience was absolutely shocking and disappointing to say the least. First off all, Nasty Gal's online location status of the item tells an absolute lie, as It was telling me my dress had arrived in the UK, 4 days after purchase. Yet, UPS had no recollection of the dress even leaving the US Warehouse. Later on, I found out my dress was taken to their warehouse hub in Germany? And THEN to England after 9 days.
Secondly, although Nasty Gal claims that theres 'free shipping' for purchases over $150 (my dress being £270) they do not clearly state the amount in which you'll be taxed due to shipping - which will amount to more than their 'shipping cost'. I then found out my C. O. D was £90 altogether which is just beyond me.
After this experience, I will never be shopping from this unreliable outlet again, I am yet still awaiting to receive my dress which I somewhat hope will make up for their appalling services.
I've ordered on two occasions from Nastygal and I have mixed feelings. It can be very hit and miss and the clothing overall is somewhat cheap. If you shop at Forever 21 and don't mind similar quality then you will not be disappointed with NastyGal. Anyone looking for higher quality should probably look elsewhere. I kept about 4 items from over 12 that I had ordered. That being said, I did not have any trouble with returns. I would order from here again, but only if I saw something I could not live without.
Their merchandise is super expensive and designer labelled and personally I don't take too much of their apparel because of their prices but their shoes are absolutely beautiful. If I were to spend hundreds of dollars on a shoe it would be a shoe housed under the nastygal outlet, not too mention they're a consistent source in finding great items from Jeffrey Campbell and other similar shoe designers. Definitely representing san francisco.
After receiving 4 pieces of your knit clothing, I was surprised that none of them looked like the ones seen on photos in the website.
But that is not the point of why I am writing this review. The fabrics from these clothes were astonishingly scratchy, and the worst part was getting textile contact dermatitis, hours later from trying them on for a size check. I know, because I was diagnosed by my dermatologist the day after developing rashes on my back and all over my chest.
I had to throw all these new knits away.
I am horribly disappointed. I will not recommend, and will never buy from nastygal again.
After reading other reviews and seeing that the same thing happened to me I decided to post a review and a possible suspicion. I ordered three items around 150 or so Canadian collars months ago; I was wondering where it was so I emailed them. They said it appeared my items were lost and they would reorder them and send it with the possible fastest shipping for free. I said sure, well another month and a half goes by and I hear nothing. I get an email this morning saying my account will be refunded as the items were lost. Again!? And why didn't you bother telling me that. Hopefully I get the refund... seems like they take our money, use it, then skate by with mailing people damaged goods, doesn't match the picture, only 2 out of 9 items etc, to refund our money with no viable explanation months later. Ponzi scheme anyone?!
I started out liking the website but as soon as I experienced my first order "I absolutely hate it''! First, the picture looked good on the site but the actual clothes were horrible! The fabrics sucked. One knit top's price was $54.60 and the material was rough, not warm and terrible (I could have bought something a hundred times better in forever21). Another $72 dress I bought was make out of "cheap silk".
Also, the shipping was terrible. I ordered "one" necklace, and the site messed up my order and gave me "two". When I found out how bad the quality was I returned it and the quantity became "1" again. There was no consistency in their system whatsoever!
I made first purchasing at Nasty gal. I ordered tortal 8,9 items all of them are so bad quality. One of necklace was broken so I asked refund. They replied me to send it by my own cost. What a bad customer service. I am not make purchasing from them again ever. Dont waist your money.
I'm writing this with big sadness I remember first time buying from this website like 5 or even 6 years ago. I never had to do return this is the first time and the experience that I'm going through is horrible nasty! Talking to them in emails a whole month for items they received long time ago giving me stories about yes yes we got it but now it's going to UK wearhouse excuse me? Why do I care? We live in USA I had it ship to usa not UK. Than asking me for proof of my shipping Receipt with my credit card info for proof of return when I already send my order number and tracking we all know u got it! Smell and feel as a scam very sad that such a big company treat the clients like this NASTY!
Not worth it. I shopped their stuff because it was super cheap & cute! Every order I've made they send me either the wrong item or the wrong size & them make me pay to return it when they messed it up. They basically have no customer service to reach out to either, you could try but they never respond.

Answer: Hi! I had to order 2 sizes up... these clothes are made for slim petite women. If u are not then order at least one size up.
Answer: I never ordered Anything from this company, they got my debt card # and just started to Take funds out of my acc. That is how they got caught, I would NEVER order anything from them! Be very careful if you do.
