Attempted to use a prepaid Vanilla Visa card, after the transaction failed multiple times I logged into my balance account. Everything appeared to be fine so I attempted again. I was then unable to log back into my balance account because of "System error". I tried calling support and was told my card wasn't activated and I couldn't purchase items because the card doesn't have my name on it... The support member told me he had activated my card, yet I still cannot log on because of "system error". Very unhappy
I bought a vanilla visa giftcard with a balance of $170. When I got home I used it to buy a pair of jordans and the seller had to refund me because they didn't have the shoes. I checked the balance on the card and it said unavailable on the website. This happened to other people from the reviews I read saying that the website is broken and says error everytime they check the balance which is what happened to me. I called the number and nobody picked up but I googled about the refund and it said it would take up to 7 days. I waited seven days to check the balance again and when I did it worked but it said zero. The money I put on the card got spent on google play and it wasn't me. I'm not the first person this happened to and its actually common from what I've read. I called a fraud number and they said they'd get back to me but not sure if I'd see my momey again. Extremely disappointing.

Loaded money on 4 days ago has yet to show up on my account. It showed yesterday that i paid a 23.00 hulu subscription on 11/10/17 now today all the transactions are gone and said i paid the 23.00 to hulu on 10/13/17 and thats impossible. I paid 7.99 on 11/6/17 none of it makes any sense now said my account is -47.00 but have a balance of 1.63? I called couldn't understand a word from the coustmer service rep. Ive used this card the last few months with no problems but now everything is jaked up. I will not be using this card and also. 50 cent charge for every transaction can add up. Never had this type of problem from a reloadable card i give this card zero out of 5 star's and they better give ne my damn money back.
The customer service sucks, all the required info on their website I entered was correct but still gives me an error. The company is a scam and steals peoples money! DON'T BUY THIS! The customer service is horrible I've called the company and they didn't help at all. Just pure definition of BULL$#*!!
I bought a $50 gift card that was apparently tampered with and I tried to contact customer service (which is in another country) and they never sent the form i needed to file a dispute even after calling a total of 4 times. BUYER BEWARE.
I bought this to shop online and U can't get the card activated. I put 30 dollars on the stupid thing and I can't get my money back. They won't pick up on the phone and they don't have an email adress. WTF!
I have bought two different people these gift cards. They were both compromised and all of the money was gone when they tried to use. We called customer service and they are not helpful at all.
So I purchased this card so I can order some phones for myself and my siblings. Well a couple days later I get a phone call from AT&T saying that my order got canceled and they put the money back on the card, which they did. Unfortunately that very same day I lost my card. So I report my card lost on MyVanilla's website and try to request a replacement and as soon as I do that all of a sudden my log in information stopped working. Mind you it was working very fine until I reported my card lost, it was as if they were waiting for me to report it stolen or lost so they can cut off my account and keep the $358 dollars I had on the card. I want my money back, and I do not recommend MyVanilla to ANYONE! Don't do it! They will get you for whatever you put on it and I'm going to make sure people know that this is going on!
I bought a $200 card from Walgreens, and it only had 12 digits and missing 4 digits. I call customer service to get the remaining digits using the serial number on the back. They said they didn't have the full 16 digits. Customer service was very rude, got disconnected 3 times while asking me to send copy of card, receipt and my ID! That that was Ok for me but then they asked me all kinds of personal questions including my full name, address, date of birth, email address and SSN. I got very suspicious and wasn't comfortable at all to give the customer service of a scamming card compnay all this information. I'd rather and preferred to loose my $200 than be scammed further by them! Never buy this scam again.
A week ago. Returned a car rental. Used my card added enough to cover rental and the deposit. 8 days later still haven't gotten my deposit back. Contacted rental company the charged the amount due. Refunded the deposit. Vanilla people are telling me that it hasn't been charged. Liers. Have the transaction numbers. And the proof from car rental. Vanilla people are holding onto my 200.00. The woman on the other end wouldn't take the case number or. Otheration code.
They suck. Literally bought a FIFTY DOLLARS GIFT CARD. Tried to use it & they said the card was invalid.& i tried to call & jus ended cuz it was invalid? & even went back to the place & they said they couldn't do anything. They are NO help & i want a refund. Very very big scam. Never purchase these! Use ur money or ur personal card never a gift card!

The worst gift card/ customer service. Did refund from a store on a vanilla visa gift card, after mnth the card was canceld by them, because they needed puchrchase/ return receipt and tons of other bs. Worst customer service. Do not ever buy this gift card!

At the beginning of this month I was given one of these cards worth $500 on it. I was really excited to use it for an event and just to generally buy myself something nice. Last time I checked the balance I still had around $350+ on it and today it was only at. 29! Someone had spent the money on the card I barely used and put a pass code on! Like any logical person I called the number on the card to see what the customer service could do but the more I answered the questions the more off the service felt. Midway through the call I was reading some reviews that said they were put on an "investigation" for months on end and never got their money back. I hung up. On top of that the website never had any good vibes, hard to navigate and was just overall sketchy. I'm pissed about the possibility I'm not going to get my money back but stay away from these cursed "gift" cards. Also request payment in another form

Purchased a card wasn't able to register the card online call costumer service and they weren't able to do it either and told me it was good for one time use and to discard it so I used it at amazon and they wasn't able to collect the payment and used my moms card as a back up so now I don't have the card and I owe my mom $200 and they told they can do nothing about it. I don't recommend people to buy this card and if they do register it over the phone if you don't wanna be in my situation
I have had many problems with this bull company and my latest one is you can only reload the card 2 times a day. I needed to make a payment today for my utilities and now I'm sitting here in the cold and dark with Canadian winter temperatures because I can't reload the joke of a card. NEVER BUY THIS CARD!
