I went to the store and put in $500 in myvanilla prepaid debit card and it cant activate. This stupid Covid 19 shiiii got me $#*!ked up brah. Give me my Fckn money Dawg, or fckn activate my fckn card stupid $#*!t

I tried to use this card on several websites to make a purchase, and boy was I disappointed. Everytime I used it it said invalid over and over. I gave this card a 1 star, but I would truly give it no stars. I told customer service they need to inform people that it's not accepted everywhere. You would this if it said Visa Debit that you would not have an issue. Folks SAVE YOU MONEY... DO NOT EVER PURCHASE ONE!

Was given a $250 gift card which i wanted to use for a larger purchase or two. I used about $125 on it and then, several months later, went to use the balance to help pay for a set of tires. I was told there was only $2.40 on the card. When i got home i contacted Vanilla Gift and they gave me the list of 5 different "transacations" totaling $125 which were all fraudulent. They sent me their dispute claim form which i returned right away and told me it would take up to 90 days to review the claim. About a month later i received a check for $10. When i called them to inquire about the other $115 under dispute they said i had to file a new claim which i did. I had to follow up 3 more times with them and each time i was told their "back office" had to look into the matter. I finally received payment of the full claim but it took 5 months, 3 separate forms and several phone calls. Would definitely NOT recommend giving/getting a Vanilla gift card. Based on the large number of claims and bad reviews i think they take your money and hope you won't bother spending the time to get it back. Do Not Use.

Worst card I ever had
February 27, 2019

I purchased this card used it twice then they froze it stating suspicious activity I only had a hundred dollars on it please tell me what can you do with a hundred dollars. They can keep the 18 dollars I had left never use THEM AGAIN

I have $25 gift card. When I try to buy something on online.it said some one already took money from the card. I try to contact customer care no one answer my call. I never use vanilla card

LMAO, what a scam. I bought this card to use it online for a game purchase and just no. IT WASNT WRITTEN THAT I NEEDED TO BE 18 YEAR OLD OR OLDER ON THE CARD PACKAGING, NOT WRITTEN ON THE CARD NOR THE INSTRUCTION PAPER THAT CAME WITH IT.
WHAT A ***** RIP-OFF.
So in short, please state on the packaging ''18 year old or older'' please?
Can't even refund it lol, somehow managed to buy something with it and the purchase will probably get flagged as ''fraud'' in the next couple days.

I bought the card, paid the fee, and was given the run around when I tried to use it - that I had to wait 72 hours for the store to input the information to the card service. I did that and waited over 2 months to use it again and the same thing happened CARD INVALID. I called customer service and now you can't talk to anyone - DON'T BUY THIS CARD - I do not know how this happened - I bought this at Walgreens - will never buy gift card at Walgreens again and will never buy vanilla card either - not nice to do this to people.

Supposedly you can use it online, but it seems most online vendors decline it since it cannot be registered. I was unable to use. I really regret buying it.

Do NOT get this card. If you got this card as a gift (as I did), take it IMMEDIATELY to a store and buy a gift card to some store for less than the amount on the card. The problem is, that when you try to use the card, this company puts a "hold" on your card for the amount you try to use. You have to know EXACTLY the amount on the card less the amount of the fee they are going to charge (the fees are different amounts and the holds are different amounts) so you're most likely NOT going to get to use your card. So when the transaction fails (and it WILL fail), the company says you have to wait 7 business days for the "hold" to fall off. They refuse to let you talk to a supervisor. You WILL lose all of your money and there seems to be nobody to hold this company accountable. DO NOT GET THIS CARD FROM THIS COMPANY!

They are horrible I will never recommend them to anyone not only did hey cancel my car without my permission and tell me that they did they also sent my replacement card to my old address that I haven't lived at in over 2years which I don't even know how they got that info but when I registered my card I used my new address and mind you I only have had this card for like maybe 3months maybe or less and been at my new places for almost 2years so I don't even know how they even end up sending my card to a different address the customers service is bull $#*! they don't care to satisfy their customers your on hold forever they charge you every time you use it which is 95 cents I won't be using this card ever again

COMPLETE BS! I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH A PREPAID CARD BEFORE I PURCHASED A ONEVANILLA VISA CARD! Card wouldn't go through on an online purchase so I tried again due to the fact of knowing I had JUST PUT over $100 on it. Got declined, declined, declined. Come to find out it authorized for the amount 4 damn times! Now I have to wait 7 business days to get my $ back? Dumbest $#*! Ive ever heard. Save yourself the hassle and dont think twice about purchasing this scam! Ridiculous. Even customer service on the phone are pathetic as well.

I received a vanilla gift card with $200 on it for birthday from my son. Because The registration process is different on a vanilla gift card as opposed to a vanilla prepaid card The registration was ridiculously difficult. Once completed I dialed the number to check the balance and was told I have $3 left on my card. Just that quickly Someone charged a $189 Worth of clothing to my card. I found this out after being on hold for 40 minutes waiting for someone to pick up. Because this was on a Sunday I had to wait till Monday when the office opened to file for an investigation. After waiting another half of an hour I spoke to somebody who faxed me papers to fill out for the investigation which will not be started for 90 days. In short this is a company that takes your money puts it in an account so it can yield interest While you jump through their hoops. There's no way you can make me believe somebody got my credit card number and stole all the money in 10 minutes. VANILLA CARD. THE BIG RIPOFF.

Missing money

One star isn't even good enough for this company so I recently ordered something on amazon and it read that the payment went through but when I check to see if my ordered was shipped they say that I needed to revise my payment because it was declined I had the right amount of money on my card to purchase my item and it was recently taken off because of prime and amazon charged my for shipping even though it was already paid for but now my package is cancelled I'm missing alot of money and I can't even get my package because of non payment I can't even contact my vanilla and talk to a human to get my money back take this as a warning do not get this card!

The worst reloadable debit card on the market, I put a hundred dollars on a card. I went online to activate, answered all questions correctly. They asked overbearing questions for identity verification. After forty-five minutes of this ridiculous circular questioning, we finally decided to call them on the phone. The first person on the phone could barely comprehend the English language, after a half-hour of incompetence and them not being able to solve the problem we got the next person up the chain. We were informed that they could not verify who we were with their identity system, even after all questions were answered correctly. I asked what would be necessary to use the debit card that I had put one-hundred dollars on. Another half-hour pf phone time they informed me that I had to send them a color picture of my social security card, my driver's license, a bank statement or a utility bill, and a copy of the receipt from when the debit card was purchased. I emailed them the requested information but they could not confirm receipt of said information after another half-hour on the phone. I had to wait three to five business days for them to process the information. #MyVanillaCard sucks!

MY DAD BOUGHT ME A 500$ VANILLA GIFT CARD! ACTIVATED AND USED 300$ OF THE 500$. WHEN I GO TO USE TO CARD AFTER 300$ CARD SAYS INVALID PIN, THEN I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE... THEY PROCEEDED TO TELL ME A CASE HAD BEEN FILED AGAINST THIS CARD AND THEY WILL NOT TELLL ME HOW ( SINCE THE CARD CAME TO MY MAILBOX) HOW SOMEONE COULD FILE A CASE AGAINST THIS CARD... NO NAME, NO NUMBER, NO ONE WILL TELL ME ANYTHING ( I HAVE HAD THIS CARD SINCE DAY ONE). SO BASICSLLY VANILLA HAS STOLEN 200$ OF MY MONEY! DO WASTE YOUR $#*!ING TIME ON THIS CARD EVER!
