I've been a member of MyUs for quite a few years. Any issues have always been dealt with quickly, efficiently and very politely. Most recently I had dealings with Jess. Super efficient, helpful and friendly.
If you like to shop in the US, I highly recommend using MyUs as your mailing and forwarding company.

This is one subscriber who wasted money on this one! They DO NOT provide the service they lead you to believe! Speak to a human and ask every question you can think of before paying out any funds. Would give it a minus-star if that was an option...
What a wonderful experience with John Benedict! He helps me in every aspect of my many awful questions if I would rate him I will give him 10 out of 10 he definitely worth it.

Actually you are good but still not the best, I am not very happy in my experience with MyUs
Because I have to send many of e mail to fix many problem in every deal.
And that's what I found it in my experience:
1- no fix shipping price > as my current period (see last mail).
2- Updating the suite is very slow.
3- customers service all time asking about screen shot ( they must know them job without screen shot).
4- good shipping rate with heavy but still expensive with light.
5- very slow in contact and Email replaying.

Order three items from the same seller and they will claim that all items arrived in separate package even though the seller shipped them together. Then out of the blue they will raise your shipping cost 500% for an item they have shipped at normal good price before claiming it is dimensional weight calculation due to huge box that is not required.
I spoke to Roderick on the live chat, so much better than sending a mail, after a quick explanation of what situation I was in he was quickly able to answer my question and eliminate any confusion. Great service!
I must say that every time i have sent an email it is answered usually on the same day and always with a solution. Customer service outstanding always and greatly appreciated - some companies in australia could take a lesson!

Please please please read other people reviews before you create an account! Creating an account and charging me automatically without the option to change that and using extremely high shipping rates, 49$ for a 0.4 lbs package!
The rates are based on the carriers charges. Unfortunately we do not control those rates. As your shipment was subject to duties and taxes it was only able to be sent with certain carriers.
Luv, this company! Great service & follow up. Very easy sit to use. Best of all the fastest postal company out there. I'm not easily impressed but My-US really do their job to higher than normal standards i. E.: I like to amalgamate several packages to minimise international post costs to Australia, My-US do the best job of smallest package for the items with all labels & documents included just a better service, they think about what they do. I can not speak highly enough of this company plus it was a new record to NSW - Australia 4 days
I tried the basic membership. The instruction indicated that package will be shipped automatically as soon as it arrives the facility. The discount (received several days early) will also be applied when package is shipped. I confirmed that again with 2 different employees by live chat and email.
However, the package stayed in their warehouse for 1 week and they told me a storage fee will be charged. Bull$#*!! Moreover, the prefered shipping method that I selected in account setting didn't apply either. In conclusion, its system is a scrap and its customer service is a group of liar.
MyUs' policy on delivery costs is ridiculous as the customer does not get told what they amount is that they are paying for before being charged. No disclosure. In my case my delivery cost was over 2 times the amount i paid for the products - which mind you i only bought from the US was to save money. Dont think ill recommend them or use them again!
I'm so sorry to hear you had this experience, Lida. Many of our customers save the most by consolidating multiple packages into a single international shipment.
I am also very proud to say that we are investigating several ways to guarantee pricing up front, even with consolidated packages for which it may be difficult to estimate size and weight before consolidation. Insurance is a scam, don't even bother. First claim they caused the damage and refused responsibility, second one was damaged in transit and was also rejected.
The company are beyond hopeless, even after months of horrible service at the start of covid I stuck with them, but they honestly don't care. Do not use and avoid at all costs.
Don't even bother contacting customer support, they don't help at all. When they put a "please contact us so we can investigate it further!" Comments, you will get the same results.

Unfortunately insurance only covers damaged to the product itself. Insurance does not cover manufactures boxes as the item inside the box is not damaged.
I have had 3 deliveries from Amazon to my suite. My account only reflects one delivery. How do I find out where the other stuff is? I have spent a whole 2 hours trying to get through to their live chat, no luck. It keeps just kicking me out. So frustrating.

Not the first time I've had packages with damaged contents but I let it slide in the past.
Now almost a full shipment arrived damaged due to very poor packaging by myus. The boxes were not damaged and in tact (although stronger boxes could have been used by myus). Now they are trying to blame the carrier and expecting me to wait - MINIMUM of 8 weeks for this to be investigated, will be seeking legal advice and not using myus again.
Need to figure out what to do with shipments in my suite now and incoming as I have lost all faith with myus.

I signed up with myUS through an offer claiming to have waived the annual Premium fee for 2 years. However, 13 months into the relationship with MyUS, i recently learned that I was being charged a fee on monthly basis. Sometimes things go wrong. That's inevitable and understandable. But the way a company handles an issue is the true test of the company. In this instance one of my packages went missing and didn't arrive with the rest of the order.
I called the help line and a lady named Marnie took my call. She was extremely pleasant, patient and helpful. Not only did she manage to locate the missing package (it was delivered to another suite by accident for someone who happened to have the same name), but also arranged a discount for the shipping based off the cost, had the missing package been shipped with the rest of my items. I would have been happy with the service as was but she went the extra mile.
I've had some pretty bad customer service experiences in the past and generally expect the worst when I call a help line so this really was a pleasant surprise. I'll definitely be recommending MyUS.com to everyone I can. Thank you again.

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time.
