I recently had two shipments which were from a loyalty program my Mum and I are subscribed to. Needless to say there were emails back and forth about how to state the values because some items were purchased, some were freebies and some were obtained through loyalty points. I've used a number of third party shipping agencies, and MYUS was the absolute worst.
I had to pay a sign-up fee and monthly charge. I made a couple of purchses in the first month and the shipping options were so expensive compared to other sites i've used. My parcels also arrived >5 days late - even though i paid extra for quick delivery. What a sham
Customer service sucks too. The shipping cost me more than the products i had ordered. I complained and they stopped my monthly payment.
False advertising regarding good shipping rates. Final word is AVOID! The smaller third party operators offer much better service, at a cheaper price
I've been with MyUs for the year (international service) when I emailed them about any shipment issue they responded promptly and solved my issues without any delay...

I received a package without an invoice and when I entered the value it was incorrect. Since you can't go back to change it I contacted a chat representative. Her name was Teresa and I'm happy to say she fixed the problem immediately! All I had to do was forward the invoice to her mail. It's a real improvement over the last time something like this happened. I had to upload and send and because I'm not very computer literate it took me forever. This was instant and Teresa was very helpful. My only suggestion would be to be able to go back and correct an incorrect value.

I spoke to Carl on 11/9/15 and he was very, very informative about the whole process. I asked for a walk thru from when I order online to the person receiving the box in Germany. Very easy to understand him, the way he explained it to me. I will be signing up for this service soon.

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time.
