I used myusa.com because they touted themselves to be experts in international shipping and I had an urgent package to get to my daughter in service in Cambodia. The package was shipped with the address I provided, to a p. O. box, which is the way many government entities receive packages in these security conscious times. It cost a bit of money but they did hurry it out of their facility (I will give them that) but they used a carrier who does not deliver to p. O. Boxes! So the package is still wandering around at DHL in Cambodia. I actually had a CSR at myusa ask if my daughter had transportation and could go to DHL and pick it up. Total lack of awareness about how volunteers in Peace Corps live! There is not even indoor plumbing. And, ironically, the package was SHOES I was sending so that she could at least walk to training and so forth. That is the transportation. I am frustrated beyond belief and 90 dollars poorer, and multiple hours of frustration poorer than that, after hours and hours on the phone. Sorry myusa, major fail.
Myus gave me the opportunity to shop around the world with bargain prices and new items that are not available in my country. MYUS is trustworthy, reliable and what is important their price is the cheapest. I have tried other comapateters and never got such a superb support.

I contacted myus asking for help, i cant log into my account, it says access denied, Tyler M tried to help me, i cleared my browser cache but still nothing and promised to get back with more info.
I have tried different browsers but still no access, even on my mobile phone.

I was not sure about how to ship all of my single items together in one time
They held my package as hostage, passed the cvv2 check, sent documentations everything they required i did, but in the end, they took about 25$ from my credit card and closed my account and took the package for them which is an Iphone 6s

I signed up for MyUS and took some precautions since there was so many bad reviews. What can I say? The reviews were all right. There is nothing good about this service. I think the only people that enjoy this service are those with a lot of money to throw away because that's exactly what this company does. It empties your wallet and doesn't give one duck about you.
I signed up with the intention of having my parcel picked up by my driver but guess what? They don't consolidate your package if they don't fulfill the international shipping. I had to to cancel my pickup and was forced to pay their expensive rates and ship to another freight forwarder.
You don't even know how much you are getting charged to get your package shipped until they pluck money out of your credit card. They also charged me for my item pickup before it was picked up! What a greedy $#*! company. They couldn't refund it either and left it in my account until I used it up.
Another problem is their customer service. They all say the same little bull$#*! script and they don't compromise or try to help you. They just want to make sure they get paid.
Want to know the scariest part? You can't remove your credit card or Paypal after you add it to your account. You can't even cancel your account from their account page unless you call or email them.
I understand this is a precaution but other companies like Shipito allow you to recharge your account and add money to spend instead of keeping your card so they can charge whenever they feel like.
In summary, if you're on the edge and deciding on a freight forwarder, STAY AWAY FROM MYUS. They are crooks and just want MONEY.
Go try Shipito or Global Shopaholics. They have actual people that answer the phone immediately and care about your packages.

I do apologize that we were not able to offer you the consolidation services that you were wanting, as these services are reserved for shipments that we are sending out, not shipments that are just being picked up and shipped by another company and I am sorry if this was no more clear upon signup.
Our shipping rates are based on the weight, carrier chosen, and country that they are being shipped to and can always be estimated ahead of time on our website. It is important to also note all of our shipments are sent with express couriers with tracking and you can maximize your savings so you will always receive your shipments as fast as possible as compared to other slower shipping time frames that may be available from other carriers. Our shipping cost per pound decreases as the weight of the shipment increases as well.
We do offer wire transfers from your bank as a payment method on your account and so you do have the option to send us funds that we can keep on file as a credit to be used towards your shipments. This way you would not have to use a credit card or PayPal if you were not wanting to.

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time.
