Try calling Myus: *******4444 and hear for yourself. You can't talk to an operator, you have to leave a voice mail, and when they have time, they might call you back. More than 24 hours has passed with no answer to my urgent e-mail. This is strike 2 for myus.com. I am appalled by their customer service. One more mishap and I am done with this company.
I want to publicly thank all people who assisted me during my last delicate big delivery with MyUS, Kristen, Jessica, Macy and Court, and all the team there that have done an extraordinary job. The best service ever seen. Keep doing like this.
I had a slight problem with charges at myus.com and within less than 24 hours Kristen help resolve the problem and transform my decision from never working with this company again to having loyalty to this shipping company. Ordered a thermal camera from Zoro and had it shipped to germany via MyUS.
Zoro gave a discount of 30% so this was a good deal. However MyUS wrote the full price on the invoice so I ended up paying 90 tax extra and having a lot of hassle with german customs to get my money back.
MyUS sent a corrected invoice a couple of days later via email but this didn't help a lot.
Never ever again!

They have lost my item in their warehouse, and there is literally no way of contacting them. They don't respond to emails, their online chat doesn't work and their phone number is just a recorded message. Avoid at all costs!
This is a great service to use for any expat living outside the States. MyUs has been very efficient with everything. Their website is easy to use, and as far as I can tell no hidden fees or charges. I received constant emails updating my account in regards to info needed, holding charges etc. The customer service I received from Luke gave me the information that I needed in a timely manner. I will definitely recommend this service to friends!
I use to think your company was really but now your customer service is not good. Its awful... They never give you complete answers. I sometimes have to email 2-3 times to get the answer I need, Also I need assistance with having fees removed, So I can ship to Australia. I get an answer we remove the fees if you return to sender or discard the package.
Nowhere in my support request to you guys did I mention that I wanted the package discarded or return to sender. It didn't directly answer my email inquiry and so once again I had to send another support case and waste more time.
The difference in English between Australia and USA ids not much but some of the replies I get back have missed the point completely sometimes hopeless. When I try to use the chat line at 2 am here in the morning its not available very annoying but I can accept that, but your replies to customers concerns, pathetic.
Just a waste of time, I'm one unhappy customer about to leave you guys

I had a query about returning a package today. Jessica attended to my enquiry and fully answered my questions. She was patient and explained things in a way that made it easy to understand.
The only issue that I did have was that it took about five to eight times to log into the chat system. For some strange reason it kept saying there was no one to attend to my chat session and logged me out! But once I was logged in, it was smooth sailing from there! Had the connection/system been working properly then it's be five stars!
I use "My U.S." to forward packages from the U.S. to Vietnam and it has been a great experience. They are fast, honest, and reliable. Only once was a package mislaid, and My U.S. staff tracked it down within several hours after I notified them by email. (That was the quick work of Christian A., staff member.) Highly recommended
Im not sure if I was interacting with an AI or robot. In the whole process I dont know the representatives name. He/She/It kept sending me response in a new mail without replying in a consecutive mail thread. It is difficult for a customer to recall previous conversation or deal they made. Overall the experience was not pleasant though..

Pricing is outrageous and the site not easy to use - it is not properly intuitive.
In my case I had an item, a small meat thermometer, which was going to cost me, depending on the shipping method, at least double the cost of the purchase cost of the item...$60! To post by the cheapest method. This may seem reasonable - however I buy from the US all the time and for example iherb or books can be transported to my home for minimal cost. A large box of product from iherb perhaps $8.
I decided to return to sender and paid $15.99 when delivery to MY US cost $4.99.
Customer Care's response to my plea for a sensible resolution was generic. I will never use this service again.

My dormant account was not accessible at MYUS (including 'Forgot Password' action) so I signed up for a new account only to receive a notice of 'Welcome Back' and past charges were charged to my credit card which had never been intimated to me before. Thru a past review of my emails it was clear that all previous charges were either voided or paid up. MYUS has refused to refund these and refused to look thru their records to assess the validity of the past charges.

I was recently helped by a CSR named Angel.
She really made my day.
Not only was she friendly and polite, but what I appreciated most was her willingness to go above and beyond to help me. She seems sincere which I also appreciate. I generally have great experiences with the reps at myus.com but Angel has to be one of the best that I have dealt with. I am really hoping that with her help my issue is able to be resolved. But even if it is not I just appreciate her willing to try.
I hope that her managers/team leads can see that they have an employee here that should be appreciated and praised for the quality of service that they provide.
Angel has helped make what would have been a stressful situation much less.

I have put wrongly the price of my items. There are 3 items, but 1 invoice which come to MyUs as 3 packages, and my mistake did not read the description properly. So I make live chat with Teresa, and she is very helpful, and understand what the problem is, and fix it within 1 minute.
Then, I could send all my items straight away. All MyUS team has to be like her.
It was relatively easy to buy a product from myus shopping browser extension with the click of a button. Unfortunately my Walmart order (high demand product) got cancelled. I contacted customer care to talk about refund and the customer support agent Jason was quick to respond to my messages and take necessary action. I am impressed by their service and would highly recommend myus simply for their service efficiency and shopping convenience alone.

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time.
