I was also scammed by MyTrip. Same story as everybody else. They promised a rebooking of my flight. They did nothing as promised yet they charged me a $46 'change fee'. WE SHOULD LAUNCH A CLASS ACTION AGAINST THESE SCAMMERS. What they are doing is illegal but they are getting away with it because they are an online business.
On mytrip.com, I booked a flight for my husband, as a gift, from LAX to Lisbon (order LFO6D), departing on January 14th. I received an e-mail on December 31st, 2021 telling me that my flight had been canceled and to contact them about my refund.
Since I bought a flexible ticket, I was not concerned about the COVID situation. Since I received that email I've tried to reach them by e-mail and telephone, but nobody has responded or provided any feedback.
When I contacted the airline (Air Maroc), they told me all January flights had been canceled and that I should contact Mytrip.com, since it is they who are responsible for my ticket, but I haven't heard anything from them.
In other words, today is January 21st, 2022, and I have not received a solution. I'm still waiting for a refund. This is completely unreasonable and disrespectful to clients!
They take money and dont update any information of flight changes or connecting flight, book directly thru airlines which is reliable dont ever trust mytrip, this was my 1st experience & a worst experience. Have to wait for hours to get connected thru customer care they take no responsibility... Dont TRUST MYTRIP DONT BOOOK THRU MY TRIP... WORST COMPANY

We booked a return flight to Bangkok in March 2019 for two adults. Today we received an email saying the flight has been rescheduled, the reschedule means we miss our connecting flight back to Heathrow absolutely pointless, wed be stranded, got sent a link saying if we want a call back from an advisor its £70! We refused to pay it China airlines said we shouldnt be paying anything, i contacted China airlines 5 times, they said we shouldnt be charged what so ever and told us to tell them, further 5 calls made to my trip and we was then told the 70 pound is for a hotel at the airport? I was like whaaaaaat, if I wanted a hotel and overnight Id decide. Not them, rang again and they said its not for a hotel! Absolutely no chance, then I rang again and was told a different story, 8 calls today and I demanded a full refund! China airlines Also said it was the travel agents that needed to offer us the alternative free of charge and should not be charging us an admin fee! I was told it would take 30 days for our refund and I demanded confirmation that they was applying due. Refund, still not had an email absolutely disgusting! We paid by credit card too, do you think its worth me contacting action fraud and trying to claim back via credit card company as we have all the evidence that the flight is absolutely worthless to us, almost £800 off us they have had, so angry x
I bought tickets from mytrip.com for a flight from Kathmandu to LAX. Mytrip sold me tickets that included a flight with an Indian airline to Delhi then Japan Airlines to LAX. I arrived ready to fly in Kathmandu and the Indian carrier refused to honor the ticket mytrip issued me. They tried to get me on a flight with another airline, but they were unsuccessful, so they cancelled my ticket and refunded it to mytrip (not me).
This left me stranded in Kathmandu airport with no way home. I desperately tried to fine a way to contact mytrip.com going through every page on their website. The only contact available to me was a US phone number I couldn't call from Kathmandu (no chat, no email address, etc). I did try replying directly to an email I received my original confirmation from, but never got a response.
After a few hours of trying to figure out what I could do I bought a separate ticket on Quatar airlines to get home.
Immediately on returning to LAX I called mytrip on their US number. They refused to refund or help in any way. They said it was my fault for not contacting them from Kathmandu (which I desperately tried to do, they have no way of doing so). They said it was out of their control and they don't owe me a refund, even though the ticket they sold me was refused by the airline at the counter. Even though they were already refunded by the Indian airline.
I have disputed their charges on my credit card and am preparing a response with legal counsel because they have refused to resolve their issue. The time and frustration involved is infuriating.

Never use mytrip.com. Firstly, I booked a flight from SIN-BKK through mytrip.com. After the virus started, Thai Airways changed my flight timing and i called mytrip.com for a refund as the time does not suite me. They claimed that the airline has a "policy" which states that there's a minimum hour of change from the original flight before I am eligible for a full refund. I went to the Thai Airways office in Singapore and found out that there were no such policy. However, they can't do anything because I have to go through the agency.
Now that Thai Airways have officially cancelled my flight, I tried calling mytrip.com but their hotline leaves u on hold forever. Then, a few days ago, they sent a email stating that we can either cancel or reschedule, stating that cancellation does not necessarily provide a full refund, so i chose to reschedule. Only to find out that rescheduling requires an additional cost of $98 on top of my original ticket price?
Furthermore, they do not have a direct email to contact. All their customer service is through an external outsourced customer support. The only way to contact them is to call them, which brings u to an outsourced unfriendly customer support. Otherwise, u can use the 'contact form' in which they will take forever to get u a reply that does not answer your querry.
This company is a world class thieves in the entire world. This company only knows how to steal money from the customers. I paid money to purchase an air ticket one year ago. They said due to technical error they couldn't issue the ticket. And confirmed me via email within 3 to 5 days will be refunded. For the past whole year I was keep on chasing them to refund the money. They employed staffs and trained them how to tell lies and give false excuses. Staffs were never allows me to contact their higher authorities. And the supervisors always hiding from me to speak. They are number one criminals and fraudulently holding my hardly earned money. I ended up begging every one for survival. I am cursing them that entire company is collapsed and all the staffs should suffer for their rest of their lives. I am praying and wishing the owner is dropped dead. And his whole family should suffer in future. I am pleading each and every one not to deal with this company. I booked a flight for 9 Apr22 for my wife on Malaysian Airlines from Adelaide, Australia to Sri Lanka however the flight was cancelled. No notification given by mytrip nrt Malaysian Airlines. Called Mytrip continuously (each call would last about 45mins to get through to operator. Was finally informed that the flight was rebooked to 10April and confirmation received. Checked flight on 10April on Malaysian Airline to double check but it was not showing up on their website. Went to the airport for the flight and was then informed by Malaysian Airline counter staff that although Mytrrip booked the flight the ticket was not re-issued and did not allow my wife to fly. I have now requested a refund. Absolutely disgraceful service by Mytrip. I would encourage any travellers tbooking through this agency not to do so. The hassle, pathetic service and complete lack of communication is simply not worth the lower ticket price.
This is just one terrible company... Sorry to write it. But services are just poor and weak. Canceling flight takes 2 months and my money are somewhere.
I had flights booked with this company that I was unable to travel on due to the England national lockdown in November 2020. I was told I myself had to speak to the airlines to arrange refunds, which I did, one from BA and one from easyjet. Both airlines of course said I was entitled to a full refund and that they would send the money back to etrip.
Etrip are insisting they have not had any money from easyjet despite me sending proof that the money was returned to them on Nov 3rd (14 days ago at time of writing). They have refunded me the money from BA minus a £30 'admin fee', despite me arranging the refunds myself.
This means from a booking costing £72, I have received £1 back. They have stolen £70 from me. Oh, and the only way to contact them is by calling a number that charges you a fortune, so I have a huge phone bill to pay too.
AVOID THIS COMAPNY!

In the event of a refund due to a change in the departure time, this agency makes all sorts of obstacles so that the refund does not take place. I do not advise anyone to contact this travel agency.
My flight couldn't land in the destination airport. The airline offered a refund and processed it on the same day of the incident. Trip.com claims they haven't received the refund from the airline, even though I have a confirmation from the airline that the refund was processed and there are details of the card it was sent to. It's been already 18 days that Trip.com customer service is lying to me and playing dumb as if they are still waiting for a refund.
It is incredibly unfair that I had to go through an awful landing experience with a terrible turbulence, then had to spent one day trying to reach my place as the flight landed 600km away from the airport it was supposed to, missed one day in work wages, had to incur additional costs to come home and after all this I can not receive a refund of the money I paid for the original tkt. Trip.com benefited from my awful experience. The customer service makes an impression of being on a mission to just tire down the customer and make them give up on their rights. Shame on you, Trip.com

I traveled to Pakistan from Vancouver, got stuck there due to Pandemic, My flight got cancelled and I have asked MY TRIP to process the refund as Emirates airline allows the refund, it's been 5 months now and I have not received my refund. I called Emirates airline and they said they have not received refund request from travel agent and they keep on sending emails that it is pending from Airlines, my ticket is still open with them and no refund request receive from travel agent and Airline said it says 3 months maximum for refund. Process my refund, dont cheat, dont sit on other's money..

Answer: NO! They won't provide any service, unless you pay a penalty. Even if you need assistance for a situation that is outside your responsibility. This is really the type of sales an marketing organizations that ads nothing, just takes commissions and turns away when they need to deliver. Stay away!
