Terrible service!

Tried to get refund for a flight booked by mistake. They took the money but they keep refusing stating that it's the airline that doesn't allow refund. Lies!

I told out this insurance in case I couldn't fly with my daughter in late December 2021. I was told i couldn't fly as my daughter was not double vaccinated. I tried to cancel my flights with Ryan Air they said I couldn't. MyTrip said I just needed to show them a no slow letter from the carrier and I would get a refund. Well they lied you can't. They tell you on the phone you can they even email you telling you, you can then they lie and email you back telling you they won't give you a refund. Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER

I seriously regret buying a ticket throough Mytrip, now i'm stuck in country I can't get through to them on the phone even waiting 2hrs at a time, they will take your money and run, I now stand to lose my return flight and buying a new one with the airline. Your not saving money giving it to these CRIMINALS, buy direct with the airline, its a little bit more but you getting a guaranteed service!

Avoid. They are total scammers. Then they have the audacity to call me after the flight was supposed to leave, and ask me to "update my email address", implying that I made the mistake.

The customer service is totaly usless. I tried english and spanish call center and they are Just like mokeys... Dont understand nothing what you say and repeat the same usless things. Also they were trying to charge me 500 usd more for a flight that was cancel and wanted to charge me 55 dolars of comissions when wasnt my decission to cancel the flight. I call the airline and they re book it for free how it should be. I dont recomend mytrip at all. If things go wrong you are screw.

Very disappointed

The booking was very complicated and flights were booked in different airlines endup paying twice for the same carry on bag which was not every a big bag.
The booking agency was not any help at all.

MyTrip attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

You will never get any customer service as it is designed to never answer calls.
That way they will never have to deal with any issues. It's the best scam ever!

So I had booked a trip overseas and at first my birth date was wrong they fixed that (I assume) and now that we are all in a world pandemic and highly advised do not go overseas ok so I asked about a refund and this is not my fault or there fault but a world pandemic and should get a refund. Nope never got a refund but I got my other flight refund/credit. This company needs to be shut down and if this is the only way I can get a cheaper flight to go overseas I will stay home or I will go with ORBITZ. The review stars should be a NEGATIVE FIVE STARS

First call 45 mins, and person just hangs up. 2nd call answers after 1 hr, the slowest process in the world, takes 30 mins and then say cant generate payment link call again!. Worst customer service.

CRIMINALS

CRIMINALS! I HAVE PAID £291 FOR FLIGHT TICKET L8QOTI AND AFTER THE FLIGHT WAS CANCELLED BY THE AIRLINE I ONLY GOT REFUND OF £189! SCAMMERS! ANOTHER 2 BOOKINGS I HAVE TRIED TO CANCEL 24 HRS BEFORE THE FLIGHT BUT THE LINE WAS BUSY CONSTANTLY SO LOST MONEY AGAIN!

Avoid!

Charged me £77 to change a flight 10mins after their website had put in the wrong dates. The return flight was actually cheaper so in total was £107 out of pocket

Uniquely terrible! Not worth the lower price!

Wow, I have never in my life ever encountered such ridiculously terrible customer service. I'm in awe with the level of horror. How does this company even exist?

So my flight that i booked through them was cancelled. I called to see what solution they have. I waited in phone line for 15 minutes before I was connected to an indescribably rude German man. He was yelling at me the whole time, repeatedly telling me "stop asking questions", that he is not gonna help me solve anything, then he kept repeatedly yelling a phone number at me, saying i should call that number. I asked what that number is for, where it leads. "Stop asking questions!". He said the number has no name, he can't tell me where it goes. Ok. That he is not responsible to solve the issue, so I should just call the other number. Does it go to another branch of customer service in your company, or where are you sending me? "NO! STOP ASKING QUESTIONS! ZERO ZERO FOUR NINE..." "Hey wait, lemme get a pen to write it down..." "NO! ZERO! ZERO! FOUR! NINE!..." "Wait, pen..." "NO! I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS! ZERO ZERO..."

So I'm calling that other number now, phone line 18 mins thus far. Goes to EuroWings, apparently.

What the actual fuhh. I thought this was the stuff of exaggerated horror stories. But nope. I very highly advise everyone to avoid this unreal BS. Just wow. Don't believe the fake positive one-line reviews on here. If i could give a -5, I would. Not worth it. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

They canceled my transfer flight so that I would have lost my connecting flight. I called to help me out since they made the mistake. They said that they could have moved the day only by paying extra. No refund was possible. To change the date you have to pay a 30$ extra fee and only AFTER paying you have to call again, wait another hour and they will make a change. Once you call back they transfer you from one office to the other one, to me it happened 5 times! EVEN IF ALL OF THAT WAS THEIR FAULT! To whomever lawyer is reading this, FILE A CLASS ACTION, this is a fraudulent scheme to get people to pay the fee and they will never change your booking! DO NOT GIVE A DIME TO THESE THIEVES

This is the WORST company. They are DISHONEST and did a BAIT and SWITCH. I searched for a specific date and they actually sold me a ticket for the wrong date. They absolutely REFUSE to refund my money or correct their dishonesty. NEVER use this company. They are HORRIBLE.

Worst agency ever

Please avoid Mytrip. The guys from customer care don't understand the situation and keep on giving false promises. I booked a flight from Amsterdam to India and due to SAS strike I have called the Mytrip customer care and they confirmed that flight has been cancelled and to go ahead and book other flight and refund will be from airlines. On the day of travel the strike was called off and I called these guys again to confirm and they told that flight is operational and I would be be on NO SHOW. I asked them that you were the guys who told flight is cancelled and in response they say that the executive who told that was a fresher and was not aware of that. I was like WTH. When I asked for the refund they promised me saying that I would receive the cancellation refund of return ticket and calculated it as 105 GBP. Today I received a refund of 0.70 GBP ( Do you believe?). When I called this guys again they told they would get back to me in a week on this. Pathetic customer service and just looting people money. I have lost 550 GBP. Never ever opt for this fraudulent agency.

I booked a flight way in advance from Miami to Cartagena for me and my family. The airline changed the dates from a Thursday to a Sunday (we were spending a long wekeend there) to Friday to Saturday. Obviously we were not going to travel 1 day to come back the next so I called the airline to cancel (thankfully I was able to cancel my hotels). Airline said yes we apologize no problem we will give you a refund but cannot do so because you booked through an agency. Called the agency so they would cancel the flight and get a refund. After 20 calls (waiting hours on the phone), speaking with different customer service people in India who have no idea how to help, nothing has happened. I kept getting emails from airline so check in to the flight I had cancelled 10 times over the phone with My Trips. Months later I receive an email from MyTrips saying that I needed to fight with the agency or pay them $70 to get that refund for me! They charge you money for this! No customer service response. Takes forever to get them on the phone and months after I still have not seen any $ returned. Stay away. It is a scam and these people are thieves. Not sure how Kayak works with these clowns.
