They charged us $110 per person for a $35 seat and when I realized they told me it was not refundable. The guy on the phone was an idiot and kept saying those were fees, those were not fees it was pure profit

Been charged for rebooking change that it turns out today - after weeks of chasing - could NEVER BE MADE because no change is allowed by airline.

They've done nothing to help fix their mistakes and misinformation.

They spam you with useless emails from disconnected chats to cover themselves as if that's service, but the actual important feedback is sent to spam folder and never mentioned, until now.

Unaware of this feedback.I'm told I need to rebook.dozens of chats and 25+ people call queue, 45 min calls … on hold, disconnected, transferred back and forth dozens of times … I've been chasing them for weeks to find solution …just to be told the Airline does NOT allow any rebooking on this flight.

Never booking through your company ever again
Appalling service. Worst booking experience ever.

Fraudsters

Just bought tickets. Paid extra for flexible tickets. After the payment realized that I was mistaken with date. But when request to change it, they asked 4 times higher price!
For the record, new tickets cost 4 times cheaper.
Never buy here!

I booked the ticket on mytrip.com.
If I knew that my experience will be so bad, I would never even consider them to be my agency. Obviously, I had an issue… my mistake was that I made mistake with my family name, when I contacted them to help me out, they just sent me a link to contact the airline which I did. I couldn't solve my issue with airline, they kept referring me to my agent (my trip)… I spoke with countless numbers of their support agents, ending up all the time with them gets offline from the chat. They kept throwing the ball to another corner, but not helping me at all. I. The end, I had to cancel the ticket and buy new one! They have the worst customer service I ever experienced. Their problem solving management very poor. They are answering you with templates and so on and so on.
Now, even though airline said that they make exception and refund the money, that I just have to talk with the agency, they keep answering to me with templates and airline fare rules.
I sent to them written statement that airline agreed to refund, they won't even try to listen but only keep talking about airline fare rules!
So so bad.
Think 10 times before you even go to that website

After airline cancelled the flight I was contacting them to help me to find alternative flight and they didnt care at all. They told me our customer service will contact you for 24h for flight which should be for 8h. And then they didnt want to give me a refund although airline gave refund to them. So they kept money for themselves and although I am contacting them 5 times they are keep telling me that their agents will contact me and nothing is not happening. AVOID THEM. THIEVES. ROBBERS. $#*!S.

Finally got the full refund

After canceling a booking due to an airline schedule change, I expected a smoother refund process by relying on Mytrip.com rather than contacting the airline directly. However, I was disappointed when, despite multiple communications with Mytrip.com, the issue remained unresolved, and only a fraction of the original amount was refunded.

Frustrated, I took matters into my own hands and contacted the airline directly. To my surprise, it was revealed that the airline had made an error, leading them to promptly issue a full refund. Mytrip.com then swiftly returned the funds to me.

While I appreciate the ultimate resolution, this experience highlighted a need for improvement in Mytrip.com's customer service. The ability to advocate for customers and efficiently handle refunds on their behalf would significantly enhance the overall experience.

Tried to book with this website My Trip, I encounter and error with booking so decide to try another site. But this My trip site never confirm acknowledgement at time of book and stated "error", then looked into my visa statement and they charged me for a booking when at the time of booking, there was no confirmation!
DON'T TRUST THIS BOOKING COMPANY!

I booked two flight tickets online for a travel about 2 months in advance. They emailed me the confirmation and ticket details, but after a few hours received another email as shown below:
For technical reasons, unfortunately your flight reservation has been cancelled.
We will refund you the entire cost. The money will be refunded to the original form of payment. Your refund will reach your account in 3-5 working days.
We recommend that you book your tickets through the airline directly.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.

I called once to find out the reason of cancellation, they did not give me a specific answer. After that called a couple more times for my refund, they promised I should receive it within the next 24 to 72 hours but in vain.
I am writing this review after waiting 9 days for my refund. However, I have disputed this transaction with my credit card company and should be getting back my money soon.
I would not recommend us.mytrip.com to my friends and family. Hope this Helps!

Worst company

This company didn't support you. I did my check in online 6 hours before my flight. They said that they have issues with their website or the airline. Because they didn't provide my boarding pass not even 3 hours before my flight. If you don't do it 2 hours before you have to do it trough the airline. I had to pay € 30 fee in order to do my check in with Ryanair. They didn't provide any advice of what to do if you can not get the boarding pass from them. If I can give them (-) stars I will do it. Hope you guys read the reviews and don't be like me that usually don't pay attention to them.

DO NOT MAKE MY MISTAKE AND BUY FROM MYTRIP.COM!
They change your flight, and not confirm that and 2/3 days before the flight they propose you refund!
They changed my flight, i was calling every day and they kept teling me to wait for another option, 2 days before the flight they sent me email asking for refund!
They dont reply to email, worst support in my life!

Almost lost 3 000€

As I got it they are booking you flights that are most likely to get canceled then an airline return them money back but the site never send it to you. Be aware that an airline won't send it to you even if you show that the tickets on your name because they return to the card they got payment .

We booked tickets 10 hours before flight, in a huge rush. An airline cancelled the flight, gave me a phone call about it. Lucky we! We had an acquaintance in the country so he got to the airport before us and arranged that they will rebook our tickets so the site won't get our money. Also we were luck because we had a 15 hours of stay between flights… so we had time to get into the next available flight

Do not work with them

I bought a one-way flight ticket. Due to personal reasons, I had to cancel the flight within 24 hours. Disregarding the fact that the Airline company returns the full price of the ticket in such cases, MyTrip returned nothing mentioning that the tickets are not refundable according to the airlines' policies. They also refused to provide any sources of these policies as well.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST

THE WORST 3RD PARTY BOOKING AGENCY. I will never ever ever use this company ever again. They lied to me and told me that my flight had been cancelled by the flight agency (latam). I choose to ask for a refund on my flight. My total flight cost WITH TRIP INSURANCE was around $1200. They refunded me a whopping $185.00! I have been passed around there company for hours on the phone trying to get someone to actually help me. Nobody speaks fluent english. Nobody could contact me with their supervisor. When asked for an explanation of my refund they told me they couldnt see anything because it was the airlines decision. When I called the airlines they told me they had no control over my refund and it was the decision of MYTRIP. Mytrip has essentially stole my money, and now I am out over $1000.

The real zinger... is when I called the airlines they told me the trip had not been cancelled. They told me that they have heard of third parties lying to customers telling them their trips have been canceled so they can make money off you.

I am extremely disappointed in every aspect of this company.

Outdated Information: The MyTrip website is severely lacking in terms of up-to-date information. When booking a flight, it is crucial to have accurate and current details about schedules and cancellations. Unfortunately, this website fails in this regard, leaving travelers like myself in a state of uncertainty.

Lack of Communication: The most frustrating part of my experience with MyTrip was their complete failure to inform me about flight cancellations. It is inexcusable for a travel website to not notify passengers when their flights are canceled. Instead, my girlfriend and I found ourselves stranded at the Montreal airport for a harrowing 24 hours without any knowledge of what was happening.

Inadequate Customer Service: When we reached out to the MyTrip customer service for assistance during our airport ordeal, we received nothing but frustration. Their representatives seemed disinterested and repeatedly parroted the same unhelpful phrase, "it is out of our hands." This is not the kind of support one expects when they have purchased tickets through a third-party company like MyTrip.

Given these appalling circumstances, I must ask a fundamental question: What is the benefit of buying tickets through MyTrip or any third-party company if they are incapable of providing timely information or assistance in critical situations?

Now, concerning who is responsible for our expenses, it is crucial to understand that the responsibility for costs incurred due to flight cancellations or other disruptions may vary depending on the circumstances, the airline's policies, and the terms and conditions of the ticket. In many cases, airlines are responsible for providing accommodations, meals, or alternative flights when they cancel a flight. However, when tickets are purchased through a third-party like MyTrip, it can complicate matters.

I strongly recommend that you review the terms and conditions of your ticket and reach out to the airline directly to inquire about compensation for your expenses during the 24-hour ordeal at the Montreal airport. Additionally, consider lodging a formal complaint with MyTrip to ensure they are aware of the severe shortcomings in their service.

Customer taken hostage / consumer rights violated

We booked return tickets to Brazil (family with 2 young children). On arrival in Brazil (28.08.23) we received an email informing us that our return flight/route had changed. Instead of flying via Frankfurt to our final destination, the new route is via Lisbon. On arrival at the airport (11.09.23) the airline found that we had been registered on both routes, i.e. Frankfurt and Lisbon (booking error). The airline (LATAM/LUFTHANSA) refused our boarding because of this situation and asked us to contact Mytrip so that they could correct their error. We've been stuck in Brazil for 3 days without any help or assistance whatsoever, and have spent the last few days contacting Mytrip, which always asks the same questions (call centre in India) and asks us to make the changes ourselves with the companies. (which is not correct and is not the consumer's responsibility) We contacted the companies who cannot change the tickets because Mytrip is the contractor! We telephoned the call centre several times and after 3 days they offered to change the flights for a fee of 3,000 euros! (costs for 3 new tickets plus taxes) to correct an error they made themselves! Absurd statement, given that the error originated with Mytrip. The company Mytrip is using the distress and desperation of consumers to fraudulently extort money from them to carry out basic procedures which are fundamental consumer rights and which are free of charge. We have hired a lawyer and have requested an emergency procedure before a court in Brazil in order to force the companie concerned to assume their legal responsibilities.

I booked and paid for 2 flight tickets in March. In May I was told airline had cancelled the flight so I asked for a refu d, promised within 5 days. It was not true that the operator had cancelled, and I never recieved the refund. I tried again yesterday and explained that as the flight was still operating I was happy to have either the refund or the tickets. I want to travel on this flight which I believe is still flying. I have spent an hour and a Quarter trying to get someone on their Indian customer service desk who cn handle my problem. Hopeless, they cannot access all the emails and seem unable to understand, they may be AI. Either way I have neither the refund nor the booking after 4 months. DO NOT BOOK THIS SITE MAY A SCAM
