Terrible agency, I'm still waiting for my return ticket to Tokyo - Rome, they're really embarrassing, the company canceled the flight and they didn't even notify me by sending an email. In two days we have to starting the trip Catania - Tokyo and we still don't have a real return ticket, also explaining the customs situation which could cause problems when arrived in Tokyo,But they don't give a damn!
They will also be reported to my lawyer.
First and last time I will use my trip.
I booked a return flight from Toronto, Canada to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I paid a normal price with no deal to be had. I could not use my departure portion of the flight as I had an emergency to attend to in Florida one month before my departure. I flew down on another flight and remained in Florida until the return flight scheduled on my ticket with My Trip. As a courtesy to My Trip I called to advise them that I would not be able to use my departure portion of the scheduled flight. I was not expecting any compensation as I had booked a basic flight. They told me that if I didn't show up at the airport for the departure flight the entire ticket would be cancelled and I would lose my flight home. I immediately contacted West Jet who agreed to remove my departure on the ticket and the return would remain as is, only if My Trip would agree. West Jet placed a note on there system however My Trip would not co-operate or make any changes. I pleaded and advised of all details regarding the emergency however no one was interested in listening to me even after West Jet agreed to co-operate. Terrible customer service and only money grabbers with no empathy whatsoever. I completely lost the entire amount of the flight and had to book another return flight home. They could have easily revised their records to show only a return flight and receive full payment for a two way flight. I will never use My Trip again.
I don't know why the reviews are so negative about My trip. I personally recently book an International round trip with them which I had to cancel due to date issues. Seeing so many negative reviews I was dreading to cancel since most of the people here complain about not receiving their refund even after a long long time. My experience was otherwise.
Upon enquiry I got to know about the cancellation fees the airline would charge and that they would start the refund as soon as the airlines do that to them. I was still unsure but decided to cancel and rebook. I got refund within 5 days of Airlines handing them the refund. I also got updates on my email for every stage. Maybe they have improved themselves over time but I was so glad for the prompt refund that I thought I would write a quick review.

Mytrip made a mistake so I could not on-board. Contacted their customer service but only incredible bad service. They even did not give any compensation for their fault. Closed your file without provided any help. PLEASE DONT USE MYTRIP.
After being charged for a check-in luggage by the airline (LOT) we requested a refund for the service already prepaid with Mytrip. After almost 4 months they sent us back to the airline and unilaterally closed the case. I suspect that they collected our money and did not book our luggage correctly with the airline. Scam?
MyTrip sells flights and when the flight is cancelled, they don't allow you to rebook. You have to rebook yourself near to the date of your trip and pay double price.
I booked a flight to the Middle East in November. The government of Canada has issued a warning saying avoid non essential travel as there is an increased risk of terrorist attack. My trips website says to contact the air line for any cancelation or rebooking. I contacted air Canada and they fully understood the situation and we're going to issue a full refund. Unfortunately she was not able too as the card on file was not mine. As a customer you pay my trip and my trip pays the air lines. She told me to contact my trip and they should do the refund for me. IF NOT I was to call air Canada and get the refund issued to the card on file( my trips card) and get my trip to issue me a refund after air Canada issues them the refund. I called my trip and of course they were NO HELP AT ALL. He tells me the air line will not allow him to issue a refund, that is bull because I was talking to the airline 5 min before talking to him. He then proceeds to say he can only issue a refund if the airline cancels the ticket. Useless and disgusting company. I decided not to get the refund issued to them by air Canada as I do not TRUST them what so ever and do not believe they will issue my refund even if they get refunded from air Canada. I will NEVER use you guys again or ever recommend you to anyone.stay away everyone put ur money towards a trustworthy company.

I ordered my parents tickets from Thessaloniki to tel aviv on 12.9.23. We got order confirmation to mail on 7.9.23. The travel document was issued late on 15.9.23 (after the flight). Mytrip.com never sent us tickets for the flight, my parents didn't get on the flight, and mytrip.com refused to give a refund.
We needed to cancel our reservation due to personal issues. They would not provide a credit for our necessary cancellation.

WizzAir cancelled my flights due to conflict in the country we were travelling to. Mytrip.com kept saying we needed to contact WizzAir to get the refund (we were entitled to) but WizzAir will only deal with the organisation who booked the flight. Eventually we got mytrip.com to request a refund but clearly they did not submit this to WizzAir as mytrip.com had automatically (probably accidentally) emailed us saying they have issued WizzAir credits to our account as no refund method had been selected. We could not access this account to convert it to the original payment method as mytrip.com would not give us the login details.
The contact centre are useless and have no idea what stage a refund process is. In one conversation they're saying we need to request a refund through WizzAir directly and the next they're saying they are processing the refund - completely contradictory.
They also wouldn't give an SLA for the time the refund would come through (probably because it never will!).
It is a fine website to book a cheap flight through if you don't care about not getting the money back if your flight is cancelled...
If there was an option to given no stars, would have given that instead. They are a big scam and doesn't provide any help. When I paid for everything, they didn't even forwarded the info about my 7 year old daughter and once I call them they said they can't do anything and I had to purchase another ticket for her. This travel agency is full of crap.
I wanted to cancel my ticket within the legal 24 hours, and they purposely delayed the request when the airline was happy to comply. They also claimed baggage booking was 50% cheaper another lie, same price at check in. I will never touch this service again. Total scam vibes.
On 18/03/2023, I paid MyTrip £2,168.99 for return flights to Dhaka for 3 passengers who are my parents and my sister. The original dates of the flights were 26/06/2023 to 07/08/2023.
On 15/07/2023, I called MyTrip to change the return date from 07/08/2023 to 21/08/2023 for all 3 passengers. I paid them an extra £292 (from a separate card) to make this change and I have an email confirming that these changes were made.
On 20/07/2023, I logged into my booking on Saudi Airlines (the flight operator) to see the confirmed status of the change. I noticed that the change was only made for 2 passengers. The third passenger was totally omitted from the booking.
From this date, I called MyTrip over 20 times between 20/07/2023 to 21/08/2023 with over 12 hours of call time trying to get them to resolve the issue and add her to the booking as I had paid for. Despite the lengthy call time and the entire month of waiting, I did not receive an update from MyTrip regarding this and so my little sister was left without a flight back from Dhaka whilst my parents were still booked on.
On 20/08/2033, I spoke to MyTrip again and they emailed me saying that they will not be able to issue a new flight for her and that I should book it myself and they will check for a refund (proof of email is available). Therefore I booked a return flight for her which cost me £2,413.70 plus incidental costs of £204.60. In total, I spent £2,618.30 in trying to get my sister back to the UK.
Furthermore, MyTrip did not fulfil the seat reservations of the booking, which I paid for included within the original payment of £2,168.99.
I responded to MyTrip on 26/08/2023 with my receipt for the ticket purchased for her plus all the incidental costs. They then sent me an email through another company called Etraveli Group and I submitted a refund form through them on 13/09/2023.
It is now 12/09/2023 and I have waited long enough for my refund. I am also fed up with the poor service from MyTrip and their inability to resolve the issue since 20/07/2023 and I have still not received any sort of compensation.

This is really the type of sales an marketing organizations that ads nothing, just takes commissions and turns away when they need to deliver. Stay away!
