Booked with mytrip before reading reviews. Big mistake. First connection of my "guaranteed connection" was missed. Got off the plane and went straight to where I was supposed to go and was told I missed my flight. Had to buy a ticket on another airline costing $700! Advised mytrip of the missed connection and they advised me it's not a missed connection. Uhh yes it is. There was not enough time allotted between flights. Went back and forth a few times with them. They should be covering my $700 ticket I had to buy. Terrible customer service. Do not use mytrip.

Please don't try to book to this agency because they will only give you headache and stress soon after you book them. They will not assess your concerns specially in adding the baggage. They will just get you money for it and after that if you asked for an update travel document they can't provide it. And your added baggage is gone. I promise you, this agency is the worst of all the worst.

The worst booking experience in my life!
1) In April of 2023 I booked a return flight from Israel to Berlin for December of 2023. In November 2023 I contacted the support of this site because I assumed that there could be some issue with the booking in connection with a situation of war in the country. In the chat with the support team, they informed me that the flight company had already canceled the flight. I suppose if I didn't ask them privately they even wouldn't bother themselves to inform me about the situation.
2) But this was only the beginning. I paid 915.99 USD only for tickets, 219.98 USD for Checked baggage, and 513.54 USD for the Cancellation Guarantee and Flexible Ticket. I asked the support team about the possibility of refunding the money I spent on the tickets and in case of any issue from the flight company sight a possibility of using the Cancellation Guarantee 90%-of-cost voucher. They told me in case of the issue I would come to use the Cancellation Guarantee option. Eventually, I received an email notification about the refund of 572.71 USD which was at least half of what I expected to receive.
3) I started the new chat with the support team and asked them to cancel the refund and give me the Cancellation Guarantee 90%-of-cost voucher (which I paid for). Instead, they started claiming I insisted on the refund and nothing could be undone. I told them that nobody informed me that I would receive such a low amount of money, and nobody asked me to confirm that I agreed with it. But they repeatedly said nothing could be improved.

My advice:
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

They're like a sales representative. They only care of taking your money.
In case of a problem, there's no one to talk to.
The representatives are like bots and will do nothing to help if it doesn't show on their commissions.
I had to cancel my flight and it took me over a month because they even refused to turn to the airline company.
They sent me to contact the airline myself and even after i got my cancellation, they only cancelled one way and refused to cancel the flight back.
I regret not checking reviews about this company before i ordered.

I would not recommend anyone booking with Mytrip, as this platform is the worst I've seen so far for the following reasons:

When the round trip was booked in November 2023 from Basel/Mulhouse to Dubai, the outbound flight had a stop in Turkey, so I assumed the return flight would be the same but when the booking was completed, I was astonished that the return flight has a stop in Tel Aviv. I checked myself and saw that none of the airlines in my return schedule were flying to and from Israel, given the unrest in the region. The Mytrip platform still permitted people to book flights, without any warning, with a stop in Tel Aviv, which was not our intention at all.
When I tried to get hold of Mytrip with the chat option- I waited 30 mins. Without anyone connecting to it.
When I tried reaching Mytrip by phone on **************, I spent 32 mins. Talking to 3 different persons, who were not able to help me and I was asked to book new flights and then to claim my money later. When I asked to talk to the supervisor me to download an app - Moonpay, which is an app to buy bitcoins and to grant them access to my phone, apparently for the refund, which I declined.

All in all, I have NO REFUND AND I LOST MONEY (CHF1917) AND TIME WITH MYTRIP, SIMPLY BECAUSE I SAW THAT THE RETURN FLIGHT HAD A STOP IN ISRAEL and Mytrip could neither book another return flights nor provide a refund for this dubious booking from the Mytrip platform.

I paid all in all CHF1'917 Swiss Francs for a round trip from Basel/Mulhouse to Dubai for the 28th December until the 3rd January 2024.

Scammers and robbers

Worst customer service experience. Nobody takes you seriously. You talk to different people every time so nobody knows what's going on. They removed one of our flights and it took me weeks to get it back. Just to get to the airport and be told that we don't have valid tickets. Airline reissued the tickets on a different flight and we bought additional flights for our onward journey. Airline again was helpful and fixed the mistake and reissued our old tickets so we could at least get the money from the newly purchased flights back. Do not book with them. They make mistakes and don't take responsibility! Never got a refund or an apology. Most frustrating and scary experience ever. Also, GoToGate, MyTrip and Etraveli are the same company so don't use any of them.

My flight was cancelled without any notice, and I had to buy new flights for 4 people so we wouldn't miss our connecting flight. I incurred significant costs at a last-minute price, and MyTrip is avoiding any refund, bouncing the responsibility to the airline, and questioning the cancellation itself, basically avoiding their obligations and wasting both my time and money.
I fully agree with other reviews that the company should not be allowed to operate with this modus operandi.
If anything goes wrong, you will lose your money—definitely not worth possibly saving a few cents.

Avoid at all costs
November 27, 2023

I booked a trip on MyTrip in January 2023 for me and my family. The airline changed the itinerary in February (for a departure in April) and it no longer fitted our schedule so we canceled (which was an option provided by the airline). We are now in November 2023 and we've yet to receive our money back. I've called MyTrip a dozen times. Nothing! Avoid at all costs.

The Worst!& How Disappointed service!

I have changed my return ticket and paid for $73.5 for flight change.
They have newly booked my return flight with wrong name.
So,I asked for to correct my name, then they sent email to pay S$60.00 to correct name.
I replied them why I have to pay for it because this is not my fault.
Their team booked my name wrongly.
But they never replied me.
Lol service!
I swore I would never use this third party, my trip!

It was a unforgettably hideous experience with the customer service team, and the application, as both of them are clearly sub-par to the standards the market can generally offer.

It was a flight on September 6 from AEP to IGR via My trip, yet, though clearly booked the flight at 1045h which was shown on the website and the app accordingly. However, we only realized we are not on the 1045h flight only when we reached the airport at 9am but on an earlier flight on the same day.

We thought that miscommunication or misunderstanding happens and kind of part of our daily life now, yet the response time of the MyTrip team was way too slow, which is 2 days, the LIVEchat is the only option or call, which is not user-friendly for any foreign visitors, and the hideous MyTrip care team would hurry ending up the chat, whilst the refund or compensation requests have to be done within 48 hours since the departure time, and none can be done from the airline and MyTrip, as both of them denied the liability, while we ended up paying extra for another flight in that evening.

Please do NOT use this online agency just because of the price, you might end up spending extra time and cost on your flight wasting your spare time, holiday, ruining your schedule after all.

Waiting for refund

Booked tickets to rome.airlines changed times after booking. Mytrip said we could get refund...booked new tickets. 3 weeks later received email from mytrip saying no refund would be given due to minor change. Don't listen to anything they say. Very unprofessional and run by non travel agents... just a front for ticket sales with no customer service. I am out $1000

Got scammed for £600

LOST £600 to them. They won't refund. They booked 2 one ways to different countries which I can't travel. And rest they told will refund. So I can't travel on those 2 flights and they won't cancel or refund everything. It's Flexi ticket with free cancellation policy. Basterds. 3 months over

Fraudulent Cancelletion

I booked 6 tickets for my family from mytrip.com for trip from Nairobi to Mumbai.

I got an email from mytrip.com that my tickets were cancelled by airlines (Air India).
They gave me links option to rebook to another date or apply for refund.
I cross verified with Air India and they told me the tickets are not cancelled and are still valid.
Clearly they wanted to cancel my tickets without my consent and resale them to someone else at higher price.
Luckily i did not click on the links otherwise i suspect it would be act as consent to cancel or change.
These company is owned by Etrvali group ltd based in Sweden and have branches in Canada, India, Austalia.
These people should face law for defrauding people by giving false emails and cancelling/amending dates without passengers consent.
I hear they also retain refunds they receive from airlines.
Sweden laws should shut down this company and other branches.
And of course all the chat representatives were INDIANS!
They want free money which is hard earned by people and become millionaires overnight.
Hope their families end up in hospitals.
