I used mytrip to book a flight months in advance it turns out they had sent me the wrong information. I ended up missing my flight (as their was no booking under the information they gave me) and after talking with their customer service they told me they wouldn't do anything and to go buy a different flight. They responded to me so quickly upon booking my flights, but once I have already paid and problems occur during your flight, they cant offer any valuable assistance! I totally regret booking with this agency! I had been booking with diff agents before who used to talk and advocate for their clients when prob occur. These agency made me wait for days to resolve the problem but did not really come up with a fair one! The airlines resched my flight which will do huge adjustments on my case. It would give us longer layover time in BC with my toddler plus will require us to book for a Cab from red deer to edmonton because my cousin and friends are no longer gonna be available on the new hours they resched me. It made a mess. What this agency come up with is to rebook me into diff flight with an additional charges, as if it was my fault that my sched was changed or refund which would require a loooong time. They told me that I have to talk to the airlines by myself and figure it out which are not helpful at all! All promises of good services at the beginning but will leave you hanging once prob occured! So no do not book a flight with this mytrip agency‼
These people are scammers.They took my 570usd by 09th 01.2024. Despite the challenges I passed through to get the money, they are not concerned. The customer care attendants are even liars. I wonder why their website exists. Aviation governance should remove them from service and I am looking forward to suing them. Please anyone with advice?
Doesnt give back refund for canceled flights. On chat doesnt want to give any information. In application no information that the flight is canceled. By tickets from airlines not from My Trip.

The first sector of our 3 RUN-MRU-JNB-CPT (Ref MHUKVB) was cancelled by the massive Cyclone on Reunion Island. The two pertinent carriers MK and SA, confirmed that only MyTrip could rebook the $1,100 worth of tickets. After 2 hours of wriggling and excuses, they refused to rebook us quoting "airline rules" having taken our money and leaving us marooned. We old, not rich and have had to purchase new tickets. It's absolutely disgraceful and we caution anyone booking with this booking agent. Is there an ombudsman who can help us retrieve the cost of our tickets? Shame on MyTrip.
Booked a trip with this travel agency and was outrageously overcharged for my checked bags. My checked bags almost cost me as much as my plane ticket! When asked if this was a mistake I was hung up on multiple times! When I finally got an answer after 3+ hrs they said it was their "handling fee" as a travel agency. Never will use this agency again! Shame on me for not checking the reviews first because I see everyone agrees with how they handle their business!
I purchased a plane ticket in June for a flight that was then rescheduled for another date, I declined the reschedule and asked for my money back. I have not yet received my money from MyTrip even after 5 months. I am being told by this company's customer support to wait, but no specific date, no concrete timeline for the refund.
Please do not fall for the cheap ticket rates. These guys are absolute pain in the A** when it comes to customer care service or even getting in touch with them. I have been waiting for a refund for over a month now and they have no intention of processing it any sooner as I understood from my conversation with two different customer care agents after relentless hours of struggle to contact them over the phone.
Book your ticket directly from the airline website and always avoid such middle agents.
Edit: 16/07/2024 - It's been over 6 months since requesting for the refund and till now nothing happened. Lost the hope of getting my money back from these guys.

Worst travel website. If we miss any connection flight, the support team is supposed to help with another flight or refund. When we called customer support after missing a flight due to previous flight delay, they kept on transferring calls to different depts and never addressed our concern or didnt give any refunds. We had to book another flight with double the money. It is their tactic to keep on transferring calls to different department so that customer ends up getting tired and give up which gives them advantage not to help with any refunds or change in flights. So its better to pay a little more and book through a legit website rather than booking thorugh this scam website and ending up losing double the money.
I had to get a name change on my ticket due to one of my passengers having health issues. I was informed by both the Airline AND a MyTrip Agent that this would be possible. MyTrip emailed me a link to pay for this change, and asked for me to send over the passport of the new passenger. I paid over $300 for this, and sent the passport then they email that these changes aren't possible due to "airline policy" when the airline told me that they do allow name changes but they can only be done by the MyTrip agents. They lied to me, stole my money, and have caused me so much stress and financial unrest.
They do everything they can to upsell you to free cancellation, then issue a credit voucher that doesn't work. It's intentional theft, and the management may find themselves in jail very, very soon.
I have called so many times it all a scam, they literally lie to get you off the phone and its the same every time, I have forwarded this to my senior manager at accounts and you will be getting an email confirmation about you refund in the next 3 to 5 days, well its been 1 year and 2 weeks or 372 days

I had to cancel my trip to Kenya (Kenya Airways) due to personal reasons. MyTrip.com started the process 8 weeks ago. I have now rang Kenya Airways and MyTrip multiple times to get an update and they are both blaming each other. Kenya Airways stance is that MyTrip should refund the money and the get the money off the airline and vice versa.
Kenya Airways don't have an ADR so will need to complain to the Civil Aviation Authority directly.
My advice is to never use MyTrip as a booking agency or Kenya Airways as an airline of choice. A complete shambles and almost impossible to get your money back.

Just an update, its now two months since i cancelled and still nothing. I have rung customer service 11 times and get the same response, "We're escalating immediately"
I have spoken to Kenya Airways and they have checked their system with the references I have given them from MyTrip and cannot find the refund request!

Bought 20 kilos of baggage and they didn't process it on one of the flight, so I asked for cancellation and they ask for cancellation fee when they would've give the additional 20 kilos or refund me. Generated a fake automated response when I replied to them as well.

I booked my flights through them. Paid premium price so I can have no more that 2 hrs lay over. Airlines changed the timings and added 8 hours lay over for whole night. I have requested mytrip for refund. After my daily follow up phone call and explaining everyday what I need, I have not received confirmation of refund.
They are highly pathetic and left me in a situation where I would need spend more money to book my flights last minute otherwise I miss my connecting flights.

Κάναμε μια κράτηση για μια διαδρομή με πτήση επιστροφής από Χανιά/Αθήνα/Χανιά έγινε η κράτηση μας έστειλαν αριθμό όλων των εισιτηρίων αλλά με τον ίδιο κωδικό κράτησης, όταν προσπαθήσαμε να κάνουμε check in για την πτήση επιστροφής ήταν αδύνατο με την δικαιολογία ότι έχει γίνει ακύρωση.Μετα από τηλεφωνική επικοινωνία στα Αγγλικά παρακαλώ μας έδωσαν άλλο κωδικό κράτησης και έτσι προχωρήσαμε και κάναμε check in.Ας είναι καλά η υπάλληλος της reception του ξενοδοχείου που κατάφερε να συνεννοηθεί, φανταστείτε αυτό να συμβεί εκτός Ελλάδος.
