On the way back, i was denied boarding as I needed a visa even though i was transit. Mytrip sold me a ticket that i cannot fly on. They did not inform me beforehand, refused to change and refund at the time i was having this terrible moments at the airport of departure..
Don't even bother. Book through the airline itself. Look at the other reviews - they'll change your flight, you'll need to change it and it'll take you months to get your refund.
I have booked ticket through MyTrip.com in the month Jan 2017 and due to flight schedule change and long waiting i applied for cancellation in April 2017. Since then up to now i didn't get my money back. Lots of follow up and costly phone calls i have made on international number of MyTrip but all time i got same answer that my booking cancelled and refund request send to Kuwait airlines and pending for authorization.
This is too much... no airlines will take too long if proper request submitted. MyTrip is doing fraud to all and cheating company. I don't know will i get my refund back or not?

I booked with them only to read about people experiences with them later. I booked a more expensive flight to get to my destination quicker less stops as was a connecting flight. Few days later i get a mail my flight had changed. The flight they changed to was impossible, as i reach my first stop at 4.20 am and was expected to get the next flight at 3.20am. Rang mytrip who said they not responsible rang the airline they state is your travel agent to sort. Carried on phoning hoping to get a decent person on the phone. Got cut off around 10 times. Staff put phone down on me a few times. My trip would not take this responsibility. Must have cost alot as ringing abroad. Finaly got through to someone who changed it for another flight at 10.40! Which made my journey longer and could have hot th8s flight cheaper around 150 cheaper. Worst of all that same flight I was originaly on still showing as available. So why did they cancel it in the first place. Im gonna complain but want to get the journey over with first. Please be careful with the travel agents no help also charge you money to get it sorted, even when its their fault. Go by airline itself. I wont be making this mistake again.
We missed our connecting flight from London Heathrow as our first flight was late. Called Mytrip.com emergency line many times, no one answered. Dropped them an email mentioning we are stranded at London Heathrow as it was 10 in the night and all the airline counters were closed. So there was no hope of a rebooking or getting a hotel voucher. Its about a month back this happened and Im still waiting to get a reply from them on what should we do!
Stay away... Extremely poor rather no customer service. Paying 20 quids more elsewhere or to the airline directly is way wiser than MyTrip.com
If I could give zero I would! Booked flights to Orlando from Dublin in January 2017. Two weeks before we are due to fly I have received an email regarding a proposed change on our return journey. This change means that we have 8 hours in Manchester airport before our return flight to Dublin. I have made numerous calls to mytrip to be told that they have emailed aer Lingus and they are waiting on them to confirm rescheduling us on to an earlier flight. I have contacted Aer Lingus directly and they need mytrip to ring them not email them to make these changes. When i call i am told that the information is being relayed to my handler! It is only a few days now until we fly and mytrip are proving to be very unhelpful in their customer service. I have used them once before but after this experience I will never ever use them again.

I booked ticket on July 24,2017 for flight on July 26,2017 and return flight on August 28,2017. THEY change my ticket to departure on August 26,2017 and return on August 28,2017. Never got e-mail from them and when I called them to see why, I find out my date was change. Even I called in 24 h bracket they told me to bead I purchased ticket and I have to pay. I never use that ticket and I want to tell people how bad that company is and please don't let them scam you. My overall rating of them is 0 stars.
I booked the tickets to Honolulu for November. After few weeks they changed my flight 3 times. I called there (to get any customer service you need at least 20 minutes). Finally I got some alternative. Over the phone I got information that my flight back is via Toronto. After the call I got an email with flight back via Vancouver. I asked to change my flight back instead of UK, to my hometown (Ireland). Till today didn't resolve my case. They said, that they contacted the Airlines. Today they advised me to contact airline directly. I contacted them and mentioned me, that nobody from MyTrip contacted the airlines. I rang MyTrip back and told him about the situation. They mentioned me, that don't give me refund and don't change me anything!
They are Liar, cheaters and have the worst customer service in tourism industry!

I purchased two tickets for two people (Booking Ref YPODTQ) on 16/06/17 through recommendations from Skyscanner. I has a bad experience with Mytrip.com when I had a problem with my daughter's travelling documents on the date of the travel. I sent so many emails to them and called them several times putting me on hold for more than an 1 hour but I was being given false assurance that everything will be fine for a week and I was told stories that they sent the email to the SAA for ticket reschedule of which they did not after I contacted the SAA by myself. I managed to settle the issue by myself with the Airlines and I was very successful. I was so stressed and traumatized by this agent during this period. I was encouraged to cancel the ticket and to be refunded £137.66 out of £1268 and the agent would take £40 for cancellation charges. This travel agent is not help full at all in times of unforeseeable problems and its better to buy a ticket direct from the airlines, I do not recommend it to any customer because of the bad experience I went through.

I had a flight change for a flight i had from Quito (Ecuador) to Buenos Aires (Argentina), I contacted Mytrip.com to see if they can sort this out they made it very clear to me that this would be sorted within the week and they would email me the new flight schedules. 2 weeks later they still had not contacted me i tried to call them a numerous amount of times and still no answer, one day before my flight i had to call the airline myself and see if they could help me, thankfully there customer service was very good on the day and they was able to sort it out for me. Something that was not my responsibility as it was not my fault for the change and mytrip.com said that they would fix the problem. I sent countless emails and not once did they get back to me. I advise anyone to not use this agency they are very dissapointing.
I have purchased a ticket yesterday using the site through skyscanner recommendation, even though other company like opodo or lastminute had more reviews, we decided to give Mytrip.com a shot. However, the return ticket booked had ridiculous waiting time, over 24hrs! For connection flight from Moscow to Tehran and I have requested to change the ticket immediately after booking it. Mytrip.com had asked for £91 extra just to alter the return even though it was booked within minutes and also same flight! As we had no choice I was forced to pay the extra or £397 would be lost!

Booked with mytrip.com on 11th of june and found out there some error in my surname sent them an email asking to correct this error same day of booking and followed with my passport copy as they request. Since that time no one contact me at all and i keep sending them emails for updates with No REPLY AT ALL!

I am with everyone else who considers this disreputable company to be skirting around the edge of a greedy scam merchant. Totally impersonal and unhelpful, slow to respond, and everything costs a pile of money. You want to make a change? Forget it unless you have loads of cash to throw away - they call it a "fine". Do not book anything with this appaling excuse of a company - go anywhere else, or better still, use the airline. I hope this pathetic bunch of losers go bust as soon as possible.
However, as soon as you need to do anything else, such as something as mundane as add and pay for check-in luggage, this websites throws you back into the stone age: You cannot see up front how much it will cost, you first have to fill out a form, then it will take a day or more before they email you back, then they expect you to pay through the link they send within 15 minutes or your request gets canceled, then you have to call them, and then you again have to pay through some email immediately, and even then you still don't get the baggage added immediately.
With other online travel agency, this would take only a couple of clicks, you'd be able to do all of this in one visit to their site, and the whole process takes only minutes. With mytrip.com instead, the whole process takes DAYS and lots of back and forth between the website, email and phone calls. Not good.
I am dealing with Mytrip.com as we speak and the experience is HORRIBLE! I have sent several emails, talked to three different "agents", two when I called the *******926 number in France and one person in Greece... no help. The UK number is not in service (surprise!). These people are scammers, their webpage is misleading and it keeps increasing the price of the ticket as you go, so it ends up being 15-20% higher than originally stated. So, whatever other ticket you find on the internet and think that Mytrip is cheaper, do not kid yourself. It will end up costing you more. And if you have to change or cancel, you will pay dearly. If you decide to cancel your ticket completely, not only will you lose all the money (forget about those taxes that you sometimes get back) THEY WILL CHARGE YOU $58 on top of that to CANCEL! The cost explanation for my cancellation was made so complicated that I gave up trying to understand midway through... quotes are in USD, Euros and New Zealand Dollars! Although there was never any mentioning of NZD in the original quote. My advice is STAY AWAY FROM Mytrip AND THEIR MOTHER COMPANY IN GREECE e-TRAVEL S.A. ONLINE TRAVEL AGENCY! They are there to scam you with small print and get your money.

From my experience I would strongly recommend to find another way to book your trip.
It did cost me lots of money, time and nerves. The people working at that company aren´t reliable in responding or reacting on complaints. I wrote a letter of complaint and never received any response. At the end after already having payed lots of money for rescheduling a ticket on top of the actual price I decided not to use the ticket I payed for at all because it was so much that I could have bought a new ticket all together without feeding more to mytrip. The feeling I got was that this company trains their employees to scam unknowing customers into unreasonable fees like flight fee leeches. The Company Mytrip.com certainly does not put their priority on satisfied customers. I do hope this review helps others to be spared from an unpleasant holiday experience.
