BEWARE!
November 26, 2018

Before I completed my flight reservations I called your customer service to specifically inquire about your seat preference service in which you charge an extra fee. I specifically asked if I paid for this extra service, would I be able to select my seat and the customer rep said yes, I would be able to select my seat preference. After finalizing and paying for my trip, I tried to select my seat (as per your customer I would be able to do this after I pay for the flight) but I couldn't do it. I called your customer service again and they said I had to call the airlines (JAL) to do it. I called JAL and the JAL rep said that I won't be able to to it till 24 hours before my flight. So, I tried it again today 11/26 for my 11/27 flight and still couldn't do it online. I called JAL and they said I can't select a seat preference because of my booking code. I called your customer support and asked them what I can do to get my seat preference (which is an aisle seat) or if I can get a refund for an extra service that I can't seem to use. They said that it's up to the airlines and that I can't get a refund for the seat preference service. I feel that I was conned since you would've known before hand that the booking code does not allow seat preference. You can not and should not offer and charge for this extra service if you can't fulfill this. Your customer service rep stated what was in your fine print about this service not being refundable and not guaranteed but the FACT that I called before completing my booking for this specific extra charge service shows that I made sure that I would be allowed to choose my seat preference if I paid for this extra service. Never once was I told on that phone call that it is not guaranteed nor non refundable.

This is NOT good customer service at all and I'm very disappointed. I will post my negative reviews on Skyscanner, google, yelp and all the other review sites I'm a member of so consumers don't get gypped. I will also report this to the Better Business Bureau.

Terrible service. Impossible to contact them. I tried calling them for 3 HOURS, because I had an issue with my flight. The representatives were extremely unhelpful. I needed a simple change in the name of the passenger. It took them couple of days to do this and they DID NOT forward me the correct registration confirmation. I had to call Alitalia to finally be able to receive them. Stay away!

Do not use them. It's a scam. Terrible service. I booked a flight 4 month's in advance with mytrip.com and Philippine airlines. I used mytrip.com as they were the cheapest. Then got an email within a day of booking to say that the airline had made a scheduled change and moved the first leg of the trip to the exact same time as the second leg of my trip. The airline said it's free to reissue me a ticket, but they mytrip.com charged me £40. I had to pay it as the only free option they gave me, made it impossible to make my trip. I paid, picked my dates and it took over 6 weeks for them to confirm my changes. In that time I lost deposits on hotels as I couldn't confirm my arrival dates etc. I called them twice a week and even called the airline multiple times to check the dates were still free. The airline said it would have taken 2 mins and 1 email to change my dates. Mytrip.com kept telling me it was a long process. They had to refer my case to the booking department, until finally I spoke to one person who was willing to help and he rebooked my tickets in mins while I was on the phone.

My partner is currently experiencing many of the issues that have been raised here. A flight changed and my trip have not assisted. My partner has tried to contact them for assistance which results in extra charges without any suitable assistance being provided. She has emailed them paying the admin fee. No response! It seems they take your money and are very incompetent or they are a scam organisation. Either way they should be avoided

The worst company I have ever dealt with, completely unhelpful with crazy terms and conditions bordering on being fraudulent!
I had a minor change to my flight schedule and needed my flight changing, a good three weeks before the flight, they didnt manage to reschudule me, or cancel my return flight, or provide me with a refund, compensation or any explanation!

Please do not book with Mytrip. They leave you behind. I have bought inbound and outbound journey from mytrip. Outbound was fine but inbound they have bought separate tickets and sold to me when there was connection. When my flight was delayed which in result I have missed my connection. When I approached the airlines they clarified that the ticket should have not bought like that when there is connection. If it was bought together the AIrline would have bared expenses and would have showed me alternative. Because it was sold by Mytrip wrongly. No one have covered my trip. With all the stress and hassle I had to book next day flight and hotel to stay with my pocket money. When I approached they deny and stopped responding to any emails or calls when I was waiting in Airport for hours. Absolutely gutted with the response. How even IATA approve such kind of agents.

Hey

I have booked a ticket for India and they asked me for the flexi ticket option. I selected NO for the 1st time and then proceed to the payment. Just before the payment to confuse you they ask for the same option again to charge you more. The same happened to me I clicked yes the second time and I was charged for the flexi option. I started to call them and it took me 20 mins just to reach the customer service and within 20 mins they said they cannot change the option. This is the second time I had such a bad experience. I suggest everyone to give the bad feedback on trip advisor so that people dont book the tickets through them. I will do the same. The waiting time in the customer service is forever.

Stay away!

They have an option to buy a special service and change the airplane tickets at any time.
The problem is that you cannot easily change the tickets:
1. You send a request to change
2. You receive the answer with the price, but you cannot pay at this moment (!).
3. You need to send second request, wait for 18 hours (in my case) and then they will call you and offer new price, which will be 30%-100% higher.

Better use other agents, which allow you to change tickets immediately.

Airline closed and when we asked for refund they refuse. Travelers who paid directly to the airline company they took they money back, but those done the payment through mytrip has been refused for any compensation.we cant even get in contact with them. What a shame!

DO NOT USE MY TRIP
October 13, 2018

Do not use mytrip, I did and I regretted, they have no idea of customer service, they have their own rules regarding air fares snd bookings and they just plain dishonest. So my advice, even if it seems like the cheapest flight, stay away as you will pay more down the line.

After I missed the flight I applied with Mytrip for rescheduling, they gave me the cost and promised to send email for payment. After no response, I called them several times, and wrote several emails... They finally cam up with new price which was triple than before, the price for rescheduling was finally more than price for new ticket. Finally I had to cancel my trip. Frustrating waste of money and time.

After recieving an email that my flight had been cancelled i contacted the agentcy. They hung up on my 3 times before i finally spoke with someone. I would need to pay 81 euros for changing flights eventhough it was not my fault my flight got cancelled and from my 2nd flight times did not `match. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Thats over 10% of what I already paid for all 3 flighttckets together.

I tried contacting air canada and they told me that it was a disgrace and I should never book with this company again. (NO KIDDING!) Air canada has tried to help but since all administration before departure has to been done by the booking agent there was nothing they could do.

Mytrip even told me since the booking is so far away it is highly possible flight times will change again. When I asked if i needed to pay an extra fee if that happened she anwsered with YES.

NEVER, EVER book with this company

One of the worst website to book ticket ever! I need to change the date for my ticket, I have to email them 3 times, each time took 4 to 5 days to answer. When you ring them, they charge you $3 per minute and still NOTHING sorted. All they can do is direct you to another phone number or basically said: "This is not my problem anymore, go away". I spent over 2 weeks trying to change a god damn ticket! Don't ever book with this website! Horrible customers service! Waste of my time

If you need to make a change, you are screwed! Never use this company. You will lose your money. If you need to change the guys on the phone can't help you. Prices you get quoted by email are different than on the phone. There is no easy way to change your ticket.

Those who didn't need to cancel or change have their own list of complaints.

I am talking to every US customer who bought and needs to cancel or exchange. Save you time and aggravation. Call you credit card immediately. You will have to file a dispute. I did, and Citi gave me a conditional refund until I they look into my dispute which I will win.

See when you pay with CC, the money goes to mytrip bank. When their bank gets tons of complaints from credit card companies acting on behalf of us, that's when their bank will discover that their client mytrip is fraud, and might turn them in to authorities.

I could be somewhat or totally wrong about the process. One thing I can tell you for sure, you will not get a refund if that's what you need. The phone number they provid works after midnight until about 6 am California time. All they do when they answer is waste your time, aggravate you, and tell you they will escalate your booking with their office that would respond to you only by e mail. So if you need a change, you will either be ignored or you will be e mailed asking you for more money for the sest newer and higher price. By the time you accept by e mail, they will charge whatever they want and tell you that by the time they recieved your permission the seat price had gone even higher.

They say for urgency call the airline. Any airline can not do anything to an agent booking before you at least have used the departure.

Please spread the word. I am not web savy. Please add my review on TripAdvisor and Trustpilot.

VERGONZOSO SERVICIO!

Ésto es increíble. Mytrip.com aún no me ha devuelto el dinero de mi billete de avión.
El billete fue comprado en Junio, si en Junio y aún estoy esperando a que tanto LATAM como mytrip.com me devuelvan la cantidad pagada, que ronda los $1000.

Nuevamente, hago un llamamiento a través de esta página web, para que SKYSCANNER deje de operar con esta agencia, Mytrip.com.

Para todo aquellos usuarios de SKYSCANNER, que se sientan tentados a usar Mytrip.com por los precios mas bajos que ofrecen, tan sólo les recomiendo que en caso de cancelación o similar, Mytrip.com ofrecerá un servicio inexistente. Ahora mismo, como pueden leer en este mensaje, lidio con una situación FRAUDULENTA, que me obliga a denunciar a través de esta página.

Espero que casos así no se vuelvan a producir para todos aquellos usuarios de SKYSCANNER.

Terrible company, ignored my email, I called, email them requesting them to cancel a flight. Completely ignored my emails until the day before travelling!
Of course by than too late to issue refund!
Really you are dealing with a bunch of criminals!
Why do people still get away with this?
Please stay off and lets tell as many people as possible.
I am going to take the matter further and complaint to the airline and credit card company!

Days turned into weeks of handfuls of phonecalls and emails trying to contact this bogus business to help us change flights. After wasting 10+ hours on these crooks I ended up changing with the airline directly and paying more money--literally the day before our plan took off.

Mytrip then contact afterwards and said they were sorry for their BS. I demanded a refund... below is their reply. However, I haven't seen any of this money returned, so either Moemen has a very skewed version of time---"days" means months and months---or this company which believes in customer service and long lasting relationships should be shut down immediately for fraud.

"Thank you for contacting us and for your feedback. As we informed you before we understand your frustration from our side and we feel disappointment for that. Due to high workload in the summer we were unable to meet all customers requirements on time. Please accept our apologies and we hope that if give us another chance in the future we will be able to prove to you that our goal is always to provide a high customer support and build a long-term relationship with our customer.

You will receive a refund of the amount you paid for the flexible ticket 139.55 USD within the next days.
