I signed up for this account years ago and cancelled my subscription. All of a sudden they start charging my credit card again. I called and the first person I spoke with was very nice and helpful. I saw ONE refund, but no others. After the two weeks they told me I would see my refunds. Nothing. I called again and I got the run around saying a "ticket" was already entered, but he could not give me a status as to when I would see my refund. I ask for "corporates" info so I can call them. Apparently "corporate" has no number because he said there was nothing more he could do. So we are going to dispute the charges as fraudulent since they were not authorized o charge it. Stay away from them! There are other resume services that are better and more honest...

$2.99 for a template. (Which BTW doesn't actually work.). Read the fine print. Next thing you know, they charge your card $25 per month to do nothing. A yearly subscription is about $50, but when you but a $3 single template, you end up paying $25 per month for nothing. Site is a scam. Be very wary.

The resume builder was awesome, and I received a few compliments on my resume at my new job, too! The best part about this website is the customer service, though. Andrea Sanchez helped my through a complicated billing issue - it was my bank's fault, not the site's. Sanchez's support was immediate, and we resolved this issue quick without any stress or problems, and I even got a refund without asking for it. Awesome site! When unable to access my account or even connect to a login screen, I called in. The first time I got hung up on. The 2nd time I was connected to a barely English speaking representative who kept putting me on hold and repeating himself probably 30 times (ie. Let me just check on this, let me just check on this). In other words, just talking to let me know he was still there. He could not get my credit card number right to save his soul. I must have repeated it 5-6 times, very very slowly. I tried to get him to repeat each set of 4 numbers back to me, but he didn't understand. I finally got access to my account, but am now looking into other options for service now that I got access to my resume again.

I had the pleasure of using My Perfect Resume as I secured employment after a very short period using their professionally prepared products. Once achieving the desired result, I unfortunately had to cancel my account. Sally1035 was very sad to see me go, but was incredible in dealing with closing my account. I called to cancel and ask for a refund on an account I thought I had cancelled the month prior. Vanessa (id#1110) was very courteous, patient and understanding of my situation. The call took about 10 mins because of kiddo interruptions and Vanessa remained polite and well-mannered even through the distractions and repeatedly having to be asked to repeat herself. I found employment within a month because of this website and due to the customer service received, I will return if ever needed! Answer: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I am a very organized person who worked for the state that I reside in as an investigator. I had an injury and had to make a change in my career. I am very careful about getting pulled into scams, however, I felt that this would be a good opportunity to build a resume and cover letter that was more updated than when my original resume that I wrote years ago. First of all, the templates are not free. After spending a long period of time writing the perfect resume, I only had the option of spending $2.99 to have access to the resume/cover letter. I felt that was a reasonable fee for the use of the template. As I stated, I am very organized and manage my finances very well. I made sure that I went into my account and cancelled by subscription after 5 days of use so that I would not be charged the $29.99 for the month. Today, I checked my checking account and sure enough the $29.99 had been deducted. I immediately called customer service and they stated that my cancellation had not gone through and they had no notification of my cancellation. They were willing to give me back only $14.00 of my $29.99 back and then went on trying to sell me more offers. I was extremely angry and then spoke with a supervisor. He also argued that I had not cancelled. I went through the same steps to cancel my account while the supervisor was on the phone with me. Low and behold the cancellation went through! Obviously, this company has set up the cancellation process to fail and you will be charged the $29.00 anyway. I definitely learned my lesson! I had to threaten to have my attorney to get involved due to this company stealing money from my account before they agreed to reimburse my full $29.00. They could not give me a refund confirmation number for the remaining reimbursement. I as a Social Worker who advocate for people could not conscientiously could not write a review to warn people of this scam.
