Tried to resell while I was trying to cancel

So I sent them an email several weeks ago to cancel. NO reply. Tried again, this time it wouldn't even send the message. So I called. The service representative tried to sell me at least 2 different plans for varying prices instead of just cancelling. BTW the monthly cost of the plan I was on was the YEARLY cost of another plan, and he wouldn't even switch it over to that one for free. Crappy service, I spent way too much for something I never used.

I cancelled the account the same day I created it and now I was charged $24 almost a month after using the service. I know it was cancelled because I just cancelled it again and it was the same process.

I canceled this service twice and still got charged an extra 48$. If you cancel this site they will make you hit cancel my subscription 4 times to actually cancel. And they will hide it so you can't find it. Don't buy the "free trial" because it is impossible to cancel. They also charge your card at 1 am so that you won't see it. This is the first review I have ever left ever.

Caught into repeated monthly $23.99 charge

We purchased the $2.95 charge to process of a single resume and only used MyPerfectResume.com the one day. We find that we've now been charged $23.99 for the last 3 months. They are another company that gets you into an automatically repeating charge that isn't clearly indicated on their website. They agreed to cancel the account but only after offering us a continued discount price of $12.99 a month and then $4.99 a month, but unlike the other reviewer they never offered to return the charges already on our credit card. Another reminder to check very closely the fine print before paying for anything on a website you haven't worked with before.

1. Suck you in with falsities then make you subscribe to get your self created resume back or print.
2. Trap you in plan by making account as hard as possible to access.
3. Stores information even after canceling.
4. Inadequate and rude customer service.
5. Overall no more help than a free template and then you have to deal with all of the above.

What a scam

I would give 0 stars if I could. I was scammed out of $23. Don't use this site. I applied for a trial. I felt fine spending the $2.83 to use the service. Suddenly I was locked into a year long membership where I'm play $23 a month? Tried to cancel twice via the website, but you have to call to cancel? You're going to be routinely charged if you use this service. When I called they would only give me an $11 refund despite not having used their services more than the one time. Utter bull$#*!. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK

OUTSTANDING SERVICE!

I have never met an online company that was pleasant, kind, and understanding when it comes to refunds until I met myperfectresume. I'm currently in a financial rut and was unaware of the monthly subscription price at the time, so I sent the site an email asking if there was a possibility I could receive a refund and the help I received went above and beyond my expectations! I was able to quickly get on the phone with a representative and he told me that they would be glad to refund me the amount and they surely did! He also gave me more information concerning cover letters, resumes, and more. He even offered me a discounted monthly subscription price if I wanted to stay longer with their company in order to create a cover letter. When I tell you that was one of the best customer services I have ever experienced, I truly mean it. That guy did an awesome job and I was glad that I got a chance to speak to him.

Ignored Cancel Request

Paid $2.95 for a trial period (price to go to ~$24/month) after that. CANCELLED plan the NEXT DAY... but still got charged $24. Not sure why anyone would need to keep paying that much for a one-time resume (high school student project) but I guess that's how the company makes their money.

STAY AWAY
It says its free, but when you do all the work on the resume and what to print then it asks you to pay a little fee of $2. But once you enter your account number they will start charging your card around $34 monthly. They refused to refund, wasted my time over the phone and said i had agreed to a subscription which i had not at any point! Its a scam

One advice, DO NOT USE THIS FAKE APPLICATION!
While i am checking my credit card account balance it shows that they stole from my card 23 euros after a while from editing my resume and paying as required the 3 euros! IDK how it happened while my card details doesn't saved!

Long holding times

The first time I called to cancel l, it took 6 minutes before I gave up. The second time I called, it took 8 minutes for them to finally answer. Why can't I manually cancel instead of waiting 14 minutes for someone to finally answer?

They charge you without prior information! Last but most important, you will spend the time filling your resume on this website, but you cannot download it unless you pay, even for a free trial time. Therefore, it is a scam and later they use your card's information to charge you 23 E monthly without prior notification. Don't ever trust them. READ THEIR FINE PRINT!

I was under the impression that I selected $2.95 to print a resume without signing up to a subscription. Turns out that $2.95 is how they get your cc info to charge you $23.95 14 days later for a subscription. Their response to me when I messaged them to get my money back for a subscription I didn't realize I purchased was basically - "Oh well... You have our services for the next month but the good news is you can cancel your subscription and not be charge next month". BE AWARE!

I used this website a few years ago to download ONE resume for my freshman year of college... I got charged FIVE times and the customer service was rude about it. Not only that but the resume sucked and honestly could not convert well to PDF or Word without significant design changes. Fast forward to me entering me senior year of college I see on my bank statements charges for a subscription that I had not started. The subscription cost was 23.99 and I had a full bank investigation because I thought it was fraud... it was not. They only refunded me three charges even though I they messed it up for 8 months. Horrible place. Just look up how to make one and use Google Drive resume outlines to make one that is SO much better.

Bad expreince

I had a very bad experience with this company
First they asked me to enter personal information, then they sent me exactly the same information in the form of a PDF file and I paid the requested fee and that was it.
And after that, I received no service, help or any news, and I was surprised to find that my debit card is reduced by about $ 24 from next month, When I protested, they said that you have already registered automatically and you have to pay, and when I ask them to cancel my membership, they left me the next month not to return the deducted money

It is a scam

They will mention the resume templates are free and after I spent an hour building a resume I was told I need to become a member. A month or so later $34 was taken out of my account without any notification that payment was about to be due. When I went to contact them the number is not connected. Probably the poorest service I've ever experienced.

When you decide you no longer want to use their services, good luck cancelling your membership. There is no option to cancel your membership from your account login. They provide you a customer support email (to which I still have not received a return email after several days) and a phone number (which I have been on hold with for the last 35 minutes). It almost seems like it is by design that it is difficult to cancel a myperfectresume account. RECOMMEND NOT GETTING INVOLVED IN THIS SCHEME
