This is very misleading. I thought I was spending $2.95 on one resume and all the sudden I'm charged $71.95. I'm so upset right now I cant afford to be taken advantage of like that. This is not acceptable I want a refund.
The tool was helpful and I liked it but if you forget to cancel your 14 day membership that you paid around 3 dollars for you will be hit with a FULL payment of around 23 dollars which you CANNOT get a full refund for! Same as another user said, they tried to resell to me when I was trying to cancel! I even had already told the man that I had just gotten a job after using the site to build my resume but I had no money and could not afford the 23 dollars I just got hit with (for a service I don't need anymore!) and he did not even acknowledge or understand my struggle but tried to convince me to keep the program for a lesser amount of money after I just told him I had NO money! I left the call with a partial refund and feeling really down and frustrated. I've been doing the best I could to save every penny and to remember to cancel things before I got charged but this one slipped my mind and I am really disappointed with myself and with the lack of understanding, reassurance and the insensitivity I was met with on the phone. I had to ask SEVERAL times about a refund before the gentleman finally answered my question and told me I would get a partial refund! It would have been so calming and reassuring if he could have given me an answer before going on and on about the benefits of keeping the program that I am NOT INTERESTED IN! It was really frustrating!

I found this site to be actually quite a great tool when you want to build your resume and make your experience standout for potential employers; the suggestions are a great tool to use and give you that professional edge in competitive labour markets. The reason for me to give 3 stars and not more is because of the automatic payment taken without any notification or notice of such when in limited services acquired. Transparency goes a long way and using abusive money grabbing tactics drives customers away. Not impressed.

I stumbled across this website and thought I would give it a try.

It mentioned that users would be able to print off resumes, cover letters and other important
Documents as much as needed. I attempted to print my resume 10 minutes after I signed up but had no such luck. I called customer service and spoke with Mark, but again was not successful. I proceeded to tell Mark that I wanted to cancel my 14 day trial package. (This website said that users can cancel their membership anytime by calling customer service or by e-mail) Mark then proceeded to tell me that I would need to e-mail my perfect resume if I wanted to in fact cancel this membership.

I never signed up for a subscription. I hate and avoid automatic payments at all costs. In Nov they billed my account for, 45 cents 4 times... Phishing to see if they could get money. Then from Jan 2022 till we caught it they have been billing $23.95 every month this year. Now Oct 2022. I am having my bank look into charging them back and fraud charges. I will also contact the FTC and show them the many people in the same boat being scammed. Can you say class action Law Suit?

Took me 4 calls to get my FULL refund back. They took out $35 without letting me know and then only refunded back half. By the last call I almost coudn't control my laughter. They all parroted the same thing. He was going on and on about how an offer was only on the table for that day I had rung up 3 times previously on different days (thats how long it took to get my refund) and they all said the same thing. Oh well whoever gave them that script to read is ridiculous and I quite honestly feel sorry for them having to read it out. This review was all written out while the guy was talking as well. And I had time to make a coffee its laughable really.

I called saying I wanted to cancel my membership and he made it this whole hassle of me trying to communicate to him that I didn't want to take the discounted rate, I just wanted to cancel it completely. I signed up for the 2 week trial and I meant to cancel. I canceled one day after the subscription charge and they would only give half a refund for ONE day. I can understand if I was half way into the month, but penalizing me for half the money for one day is absurd.

Answer: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I am a very organized person who worked for the state that I reside in as an investigator. I had an injury and had to make a change in my career. I am very careful about getting pulled into scams, however, I felt that this would be a good opportunity to build a resume and cover letter that was more updated than when my original resume that I wrote years ago. First of all, the templates are not free. After spending a long period of time writing the perfect resume, I only had the option of spending $2.99 to have access to the resume/cover letter. I felt that was a reasonable fee for the use of the template. As I stated, I am very organized and manage my finances very well. I made sure that I went into my account and cancelled by subscription after 5 days of use so that I would not be charged the $29.99 for the month. Today, I checked my checking account and sure enough the $29.99 had been deducted. I immediately called customer service and they stated that my cancellation had not gone through and they had no notification of my cancellation. They were willing to give me back only $14.00 of my $29.99 back and then went on trying to sell me more offers. I was extremely angry and then spoke with a supervisor. He also argued that I had not cancelled. I went through the same steps to cancel my account while the supervisor was on the phone with me. Low and behold the cancellation went through! Obviously, this company has set up the cancellation process to fail and you will be charged the $29.00 anyway. I definitely learned my lesson! I had to threaten to have my attorney to get involved due to this company stealing money from my account before they agreed to reimburse my full $29.00. They could not give me a refund confirmation number for the remaining reimbursement. I as a Social Worker who advocate for people could not conscientiously could not write a review to warn people of this scam.
