I put in an order of personalized M&Ms, one of the words came back as flagged, I got on chat w a rep who changed the word and confirmed that my order was set to go. I continue to receive MANY emails from customer service saying my order was still flagged, so I call and speak directly to a rep who confirms that my order is in production and will be mailed for the holiday. M&Ms then continues to send me emails about a flagged word in my order; the emails say you can also respond directly to the email itself, which I do to no reply or avail. Today I woke to an email saying they cancelled my order because I did not reply or get in touch, so I call again only to find out that my order was never in production and is now cancelled because of a different word that the first two reps did not tell me about or ask me to adjust. This word, btw, was "cigarette"; a little weird, I know, but they flagged it as a negative word, which it is obviously not. I told them that they ruined a key element to my Vday gift, the rest of which I put together around these stupid M&Ms, and that I expected them to fix the situation given that I did everything I was supposed to do to make the order correct. They offered no fix, NO APOLOGY, and told me they could give me a discount on a future order, but that nothing that would be helpful for Valentines Day.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! Placed an order 2/2, delivery for 2/13, checked status on their site 4 times and always the same "order in progress" message, incl. Today which is 2/14. Chat ALWAYS "off line". Called 4X, waited on hold 15-20 min, then a fifth call yesterday (day order was due) and waited on hold 30 minutes and NEVER SPOKE TO A CUST SERVICE REP ONCE! I just listened to their stupid M&M comedy routine loop over and over and over. It's not funny. The email on their "contact us" form does not work. They have not sent ONE SINGLE EMAIL about the status of my order, whether or not it shipped, and they've definitely not acknowledged the fact the order was due yesterday. I've written an official letter to cancel my order since I have no other option except to use the mail. I've contacted my CC company to refuse a charge if they ever try. RUN THE OTHER WAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Tried the New Caramel M&M'S... after just 6 of them I had enough the foul taste was only the caramel, and shortly I found out why. Within 30 min. My throat started to close up and off to the ER I went and a long story short they said they are finding a lot a people can not handle Palm Oil that seems that companies are now starting to put into ALL of our products along with another problamatic oil is Canola Oil... They claim that it for healthy reasons but the truth is it's cheaper and they make more money and has NOTHING to do with our health! Vote with your wallet folks and do not let them fool you with B**L S**T!

After weeks and weeks they finally admitted that they "were aware there was a problem at their end" resulting in my order never getting processed and shipped and wanted to make it up to me. After 20 mins on and off hold, they told me they would ship me out "a replacement order free or charge of course" - when I said "so you are going to refund me what I already paid you and send me a complimentary order?" she said "No, but we'll send you another order for free"! When I explained that it wasn't free at all since they never fulfilled the first one she seemed confused and said that was best she could do (after insisting I hold for 20 minutes so they could make it up to me). I demanded a refund because I'll be damned if I am giving them ANY business. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.
I will never ever send an order to this company. They need to be investigated by the BBB. Liars! They keep saying they have done, will do, will try etc etc but nothing happens. My daughter ordered these chocolates for our 50th Anniversary. Never got here for the party. Then they promised they would change to a Xmas order, which is a month after the original order and still nothing. DONT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY E V E R! You will be so displeased and angry :(
Wonderful surprise! I found a heart shaped m & m in my little bag of chocolate m & ms. Thank you! My fiancé bought us both two bags on a road trip from the The hot springs resort.
I had a very rocky & unpleasant ordering experience with this company. We were originally wanting to do something special to give out as party favors & for party use for our daughter's 4th birthday party. 3 weeks later after I ordered this product, I still didn't get a solution & now I ended up with candies I not able to use for the party & had already spent couple hundreds on this order, left with just candies to eat ourselves & not for the party use. Very disappointed.
Upon first few initial scoop of the product received, we found the quality of the printed product was very poor, the image we used was not as printed as the photo, image & text on the candies were smeared, stretched or missing print. The color 'silver' we choose was not silver at all on the final product, but it looks like a medium or dark grey.
Challenging to choose the right image when it does not have an exact printed preview of the product outcome on their site, which makes choosing the right image harder. My worst experience for online ordering regards to customer service response to complains & poor quality.
Very poor handling of customer service in terms of time it takes to resolve my complains & the effort to make things right. No replies or response after several attempt to email them regarding a solution. Then they called me 2 weeks later to offers solution. And after that, they send me a solution I didn't agree on verbally or through text. Just bad experiences.
As you can see by my B. D. I've been around. I can remember when M&M's came to the corner Ma&Pa store in Chicago. A bag was a nickel; expensive when candy was going for 3 for a penny. I have enjoyed M&M's throughout the years. It was tradition to have a bowl full every Christmas. As I am older I like to take a few M&Ms in my mouth and let them and let the candy coating melt and get this great taste of chocolate. Well a couple weeks ago I bought the NEW package of of M&M's at the Dollar General Store. I thought it was a bad batch. Put a few in my mouth and it melts and I have candy coating with just a hint of chocolate. I threw the bag out. "BAD BATCH". I did not buy from there since then. I was at a Walmart Store and bought the Family Size bag. Same thing same crap. Little M&M's, not the medium and a freaking fancy recloseable bag. WHO GIVES A CRAP ABOUT THE BAG I'M BUYING IT FOR THE PRODUCT. Bags in the fridge and for the first time in my life I am returning this back to Walmart
I'm reading other people's reviews and apparently, they do this all the time. I am FURIOUS right now. So I told my husband I wanted custom M&Ms for Valentine's day. Which he ordered, paid extra $20 for shipping so that I can get it today. First of all, he gets an email that the image he uploaded was wrong. He re-uploaded then it said shipping date will now be the 20th. 20th? What's the point? So he called them to confirm. After a 13 minute wait time, he was told it will be delivered today. So we waited. He got home from work so I asked him to track the package. He tracks it and it says "delivered, left at front door. Signature not required". First of all, I live in a 20 something story apartment building in the bronx so what front door? Secondly, "signature not required?" Really? Extra $20 of shipping didn't require a signature? So he called you guys again, and the agent says "I can "help" you call FedEx to ask where your package is. I'm like "help me?"
Anyway, Valentine's day is tomorrow, no package after spending over $100 and terrible customer service. I'm definitely rethinking this next time and this is a warning to anyone who is considering this. I'm so mad. It's more than just chocolate.
I ordered these for my husband's upcoming 50th birthday as a surprise. I ordered them a month in advance just in case anything happened. I checked in two weeks later and saw that my order was cancelled. When I chatted with customer service, they claimed they tried to call me to say that the colors I had chosen were out of stock. I checked my call log and voice mail and did not find anything. I asked why they didn't text or email. No reason why. So then they offered a 25% discount and free expedited shipping (party was in a week). I agreed and paid for another order. So now it is the day before the party, and I called to check on the second order which I was told was also cancelled. No call, email, text to inform me of this. The new rep I spoke to offered to give me a free order and ship it out today, so I said yes figuring at least we will have 2lbs of free candy with my husband's face on it but nothing for the party. I can not believe how awful this company is so look elsewhere for your items.
I thought it would be a cute idea to get personalized M&Ms for my aunt and uncle's 40th wedding anniversary. I went straight to "create your own". I got to choose packaging (after customization) and saw the 10 lb bag was $159.99 when you select the price jumps to $249.99. There is no explanation so I called customer service. Surely I missed something about pricing. I looked through every step and nothing. Customer service said that I was supposed to go look through their site first to see that $159 is for the color and $249 is with customization. I asked why I should spend time looking through the website when I could just go to 'create yours'?
If the customization was ethical it would let you know there are 2 different prices in the "create yours" option. If the packaging price is one thing for just color then the packaging options should come after the color selection then you should be told that any further customization will cost extra. In the way they have it it should be safe to assume that the price they show after customizing is the price you will pay. I guess it is my mistake for thinking a company as large as M&M/Mars could figure out how to structure a website so that the expectation is not to spend hours on the site but can go straight to customization with the right prices shown.
I had boughton a bag of white chocolate m&ms and I I recieved a blue heart perfectly shaped in the bag. I am saving it. Thought it was cool.
I order personalized candy for my Dad's Birthday. They turned out great and I received the parcel within a week. Also, I used a groupon and a promo code for a great discount!
I have had difficulties with orders before, but my latest experience is unbelievable. I ordered 3 bulk orders for 3 very special dates coming up. I ordered them 3 weeks ahead of time. The images I used were apparently not usable, I was only notified by e-mail. So I called and talked to a live person and believed the problem was resolved. I just called (3 days before my first event) as I hadn't heard anything about shipping. I was first told she was going to resubmitted it with expedited shipping, after waiting on hold the customer service rep then told me they were already printed and should ship that day. I asked since it was so close if I could still get the expedited shipping... I even offered to pay. Then after holding again I was told I would have to cancel my order and redo it since I paid with PayPal. She then told me my order had not printed all because they couldn't make changes because of my payment through PayPal. And the girl CANCELED MY ORDER! I had to wait for a call back from a manager (who called the wrong phone number that I corrected the rep on)! So they left a message at my mother's house saying they'd give me 20% off, and no expedited shipping! 20% is their current offer! Do not deal with them, definitely not worth it!
I used to love them but recently they changed the packaging from 220gr to now 180gr and still asking for the same price:(
Absolutely disappointed and stopped now eating this product.
Living Social deal was spend $15.00 to get $30,00 worth peronsalized M&M's. Before buying, I checked out myMMS website to check prices of M&M's. Several different options for $30.00 and under displayed. Bought the Living Social deal and then went to myMMS and customized my M&M's using their list of options. What the website nor the Living Social voucher tells you, is that you MUST pick a form of packaging from the myMMS website as part of your package (like a candy bowl, candy dispenser, etc). What you don't realize is that the price of this packaging changes significantly once it contains "personalized" M&M's versus just plain old M&M's. In most cases the prices doubled ($60 for less than a pound of M&M's just because it's shipping in a glass bowl or fancy box? Are you crazy?!). I did manage to find a 1 (just 1) type of packaging that would not exceed my $30.00 voucher amount (it was a graduation box, which I would discard since my order was for father's day). But guess what? The price was actually $29.99 so the voucher could not be applied since my order was $, 01 less than the voucher amount. I called myMMS to reason that surely they didn't price packages 1 cent lower than voucher prices in an effort to extort more money from me just to be able to use my voucher. But they couldn't do anything. In the end, the only way to use my voucher was to spend a minimum of $50.00 on silly packaging I didn't want. So in the end the bargain I thought I was getting for $15.00 ended up costing me $35.00. And oh, this was for the equivalent of 5 small packages of M&M's! Never again!
I have never been so disappointed. I originally ordered personalized m&ms for a birthday party for my daughter. I ordered a couple pounds and was going to give them out as part of the goodie bags. I bought cute plastic holders to put them in and color coded the party around the color of the m&ms. Days after placing the order there was a error. Sent again. Another error did it one more time and again another error. And never once was I given a reason. I was told I was not charged. And it has now been 3 months and still have not seen a credit back on to my card account. I did a servey on it this, along with talking to customer service by chat. They promised I wasn't charge, my bank account reflects different. I've asked for a refund. And was told I was never charge. I received a phone came today (3 plus months later) due to a poor survey I took a few days ago. They offered me 25% off my next order. Really?!?!?! How about just get my damn money back! After all this they want me to throw more money away? Words cant express how mad I am at the whole situation!
When you personalize your M & M's online, do not expect to receive anything like the pictures. The ones you receive will NOT look nearly as nice. I ordered my niece's school colors for a graduation party. On the white ones, the ink was smeared. The exclamation point was also smeared making it look like an " l " after her name. You could not see the dot on the exclamation point! I had them redone, and still no quality control. I asked that they please be checked before shipping, but they did not check them. The smears were still there on all the white M & M's. Also, when I was making up the favors, I noticed that there are a lot of broken pieces in the little individual bags. There were three colors. Some bags had almost all black or white. Very few of the 200+ bags were a fairly even mix. I spent a lot of money on these, and it is not worth it at all! I would not order these again. I understand that no one is going to sit there and inspect each M & M. But, I think the amount of broken pieces and the uneven mix of colors makes the little individual bags look unappetizing. The smeared printing is terrible, especially since I had them redone. You would think they would have at least tried to fix this problem. The final thing is, when they ship the individual little bags to you, they are heaped in a huge plastic bag. The individual bags are wrinkled and bent which makes it an even bigger mess. It looks like they were in someone's pocket for a week, and then handed out as a favor. I cannot recommend this at all! On a positive note, the candy was not stale. It really looked bad because of the broken pieces. Don't waste your money. There are MUCH nicer favors. Prettier and less expensive.
The site seems nice but their customer service for email is really slow. I have been waiting to hear about my order for a week now.
Answer: Lol, it's time for new contact lenses. I thought under topics it said Chocolate Party Favors, COLONWORKS, instead of Colorworks! Took me a few minutes and a bit of squinting to realize what it said.
