When you personalize your M & M's online, do not expect to receive anything like the pictures. The ones you receive will NOT look nearly as nice. I ordered my niece's school colors for a graduation party. On the white ones, the ink was smeared. The exclamation point was also smeared making it look like an " l " after her name. You could not see the dot on the exclamation point! I had them redone, and still no quality control. I asked that they please be checked before shipping, but they did not check them. The smears were still there on all the white M & M's. Also, when I was making up the favors, I noticed that there are a lot of broken pieces in the little individual bags. There were three colors. Some bags had almost all black or white. Very few of the 200+ bags were a fairly even mix. I spent a lot of money on these, and it is not worth it at all! I would not order these again. I understand that no one is going to sit there and inspect each M & M. But, I think the amount of broken pieces and the uneven mix of colors makes the little individual bags look unappetizing. The smeared printing is terrible, especially since I had them redone. You would think they would have at least tried to fix this problem. The final thing is, when they ship the individual little bags to you, they are heaped in a huge plastic bag. The individual bags are wrinkled and bent which makes it an even bigger mess. It looks like they were in someone's pocket for a week, and then handed out as a favor. I cannot recommend this at all! On a positive note, the candy was not stale. It really looked bad because of the broken pieces. Don't waste your money. There are MUCH nicer favors. Prettier and less expensive.
I ordered personalized m&m for my Birthday, more then half my order had broken pieces in each package, NOT HAPPY!
I wanted to order some custom m&ms for my girlfriend's birthday. I am located in Canada and this resulted in so many extra unnecessary barriers. To start, I placed my order of a 17USD chocolate box (after all customizations) and the shipping on it was 35 USD. While i thought this cost is already so ridiculous (this is shipping regardless of how big or small the order is) I get a call within a few hours of my order. The representative told me that the shipping cost i was charged was incorrect, that it should be EVEN MORE... they wanted to charge me 59USD shipping on a 17 dollar product. I doubt Mars doesnt have the money to be dropping these absurd costs... and i was only able to avoid this charge by asking to speak to a supervisor. Additionally, They said I may get charged at delivery (by the FedEx Person) and to keep the receipt if this happens and send to them for reimbursement. So not only am I being charged double the cost of my product in shipping, but now I have to do extra work to get reimbursements from them? Can they not just pay this fee to FedEx directly?
They accepted my order. Then they removed the promo code (that they accepted). Then the charged me a second time.
No explanation.

THERE IS ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE that you can rely on- ordering anything is a crapshoot at best- there is no recourse to get money back. This is NOT a reliable business.

I received a gift from a friend through groupon, $30 to use on this site (that I think he paid $15 for. I went and redeemed the code and ordered custom candies for my son's graduation. He is not graduating until May, but the code had an expiration date so I ordered early. Placed the order using my junk e-mail account that I use for all online purchases - and then waited... and waited... and waited. Turns out I had put his school mascot on the candy and they wouldn't print it because of copyright concerns. They never called me to tell me - even though they had my # and were not going to fill the order - who does that?
I went back to update the order and replace the picture and was told that the code expired! I tried to talk to the customer service rep and explained that it was not expired when I placed the order but he would not give in. I asked to speak to a manager and he told me with a snide laugh that a manager would tell me the same thing and that I could not use an expired code! We went around in circles a few times - ("but it was NOT expired when I USED it"..."but it is NOW" etc) Before I really lost my temper I just hung up!
I wouldn't mind but I was TRYING to spend the coupon plus another $50 for CANDY! Seriously - they would have still made plenty of $$ off me! I thought it was a cute idea but they should have honored the original value - turned out to be a lose/lose/lose. My friend lost $15, I lost out on my gift and MMars lost out on my extra $50 (of course they did get the $ from the groupon and didn't have to exchange anything for it, so I guess they kinda won... but I have another graduation NEXT year and will not be a customer!

I bought personalized m&m's for my baby shower. I ordered them a month in advance just in case there were any issues. Let me tell you there were issues. First I got an email stating my m&m'so were delivered at my house. They never showed up. Called m&m's and they said they ran out of a color to my ordered and never made them. So I asked them now what? They said we will reorder them and I will get an email to when they were made and shipped. So I waited. A few days and a weekend go by and still no email. I called again and they said there was an error in my order and they had to cancel that order and remake it all over again. They took off $20 which made it better. So I finally get my m&m's in the mail like the email said. No issues finally. My card was charged 10/12 for the appropriate amount.
Then on 10/17 my card was charged the original amount of the first order. I called them again and asked what is going on. The lady apologized and kept saying sorry and that my money would be refunded in 3-4 days. So I wait a week just to be fair. Banks take a long time. Dtill no money. I called again asking them wtf is going on. Where is my money? They apologize again and said they stopped the refund but with no explanation. I'm telling the guy this is ridiculous! There was so many issues with this transaction. So he apologizes and tells me he is taking care of it and he will have my money the next day. Well it is now 11/7 and I still don't have my money back in my account. I have the call again to get my refund. This company is so ridiculous. Not only was I not informed that my order was stopped twice because of out of stock color or error but they double charged me. You should let your costumer know when something is wrong so we know to call you. Never doing business again with you and letting all my friends know what a horrible experience I had with your company.
I have orderd a bag of 1.5kg of personolized mms, but when i received the package the nummer 8 of 2018 is missing, so now i have 12-10-201 on my mms written. They were for my wedding, but cannot use them now. I, ve cald customerservice i had een frech speaking lady on the phone who poorly spoke the british language and only gave back it must have been all my fault, because i supposedly did not enter it correctly in the computer. But didt listning of understood that i tried to tell is that i could enter de complete date in the computer! I've checkt it twice!
She could not help me anyway, its really a shame because i've paid 80 euros for 1.5kg i cant use know.
Maybe i should have checkt it again after purchase, so i could have contact them. But think twice before ordering. Because you should not rely on the customer service of them en the cant come to a understanding with them,
