Not at this time, all my questions were answered thank you. I had a very lovely chat with your rep in Ireland who was super, with attention and knowledge and mostly patience. Please package this department and sell it to all other customer service departments in the world. One problem is you might have people call just to talk to the lovely people you employ. Ron Able
I was ordering a DNA kit as a birthday present for my friend. I paid 20$ extra for fast shipping but He still didn't get it for almost 17 days! And nobody contact me! Worst experience ever! Do not recommend it!
This is the biggest let down and rip off since the pet rock.
I was expecting at least a piece of paper showing some places I might find
In my back ground. WRONG! This place sends you an email that is so 'general"
You could be related to Lincoln or Moses.
I was having issues with using Sync. I am sure the slowness is due to my internet which at times works at a snail pace (AT&T DSL). However when trying to sync the sync would get stuck on Step 4. I contacted tech support who emailed to me clear step by step instructions on how to resolve the issue. Worked like a charm! Thank you Tech Support! I am back on track now. The only thing needed is a more prompt reply. I give you a 9 out of 10 score.

Had a problem with the login credentials to my own family tree on MH getting confused with my login to a friend's site. It happened when I was forced to change my own e mail address, and the order of my subsequent actions caused the problem. Samuel was fantastic. I felt understood, cared about, and he was able to tell me (not a well-accomplished internet user) how to go about fixing the problem. I needed action on the part of MH to fix the problem completely and Samuel stayed on top of things and helped me through that as well. Have had excellent experiences with other customer service people at MH, including Marianne, who was outstanding as well and went far beyond my expectations. Nothing but praise for this company!
A well disguised scam. Avoid the " Free trial" at all cost. Unless you just looking around for a few days and get out of this thing as fast as you can! Your card will be charged as soon as this friendly free trial ends. The scam relies on people loosing track of the number of days you had the "free trial" then they pounce on your credit card! There should be a law against this form of scam. Let's face it most info on family can be found without using My Heritage!
Samuel in support is the most patient and helpful person I have met.
He really did everything he could to solve my problem. My problem was that all my communication suddenly stood in English even though my main language was Danish.
After many correspondence and requests to send various files, he eventually had to quit and send the problem to technical support.
Here it went a little wrong. They may have done something, but I never heard from them, but my problem was suddenly resolved and that was really my wish so ---
I recently left my negative review about this company (below), and you can see how quickly they responded. I'm still waiting for a call, email, etc. Smoke and mirrors, my friends, smoke and mirrors. Any other reputable company might charge you for one month, but NEVER $119 for a year's membership... unless, of, course, that's the only way you can stay in business.

Myheritage
Through My Heritage, I have uncovered hidden facts of my family and confirmed stories related by my parents. My tree goes back as far as 1450.
Somehow, my building site at MyHeritage.com was replaced by that of the former US President, John F. Kennedy. Not being able to solve the problem myself, I sought the help of MyHeritage.com and Rafael was extremely helpful.
My project is now finished, as far as I can go, thanks to MyHeritage.com, and I value the continuing availability of my data and photographs, despite the fact that I no longer need to subscribe.
I was having a problem viewing my list of over 3000 DNA relatives, and called the support line number. The staff member, Megan, was wonderful: patient, kindly, and in the end totally solved the problem. Rarely have I encountered a company with such good technical support. As an elderly woman for whom use of computers is never obvious, I so appreciate the care.
The data sources are not complete and are rubbish! I can't even find my own birth record, my mother's birth record. Immigration records are scant also and don't return hits - whereas this information is out there! The hits I initially saw that drew me in to use the site were actually hits from a relative who had logged in and created the simple family tree (that they prompt you to do when you come to the landing page!) They then use that data manually entered to expand their hits but really its a scam. Also beware, you find out that a lot of the features and services are on tiered membership - so in order to use them you have to pay more for premium services. Overall this is just a manual family tree builder (difficult to navigate as others have mentioned) and the data records they source are not complete! Not worth the money by any means.
My card was billed, but I wanted to undo the activation of the type of service in question. Getting my money back was not a difficult issue at all. Thank you, MyHeritage! Since English is not my first language, I'm specially thankful for the chance of both expressing myself and getting help in my mother tongue. Customer support was very friendly. Thanks again!
My experience with the team is very positive, they helped me, even when a problem was very complicate. When I need MyHeritage support team I call them!! They are knowledgeable, helpful, patient and very friendly. They take the time to answer your questions.
I am happy to be a member of MyHeritage, it is user friendly and not complicated. Of course there are always some issues to take, but who is perfect.
I have met, thanks to MyHeritage, my ancestors, family and a lot of knowledge gained with my familyhistory. I feel a lot of respect for my ancestors who often lived in deplorable conditions.
I like to say: Keep up your good work MyHeritage, all praise and thank you very much....
I wanted to match my MyHeritage DNA results with those of a person who'd obtained her DNA analysis through her Ancestry account. After listening to a tune being whistled for 25 minutes ["you are place number 14" etc] the consultant did her best but only produced a long-standing and low-grade [0.3%] match. I am absolutely certain that the Ancestry relative is my direct cousin, once removed. I was told that if the computerised "logarithms" didn't throw up a match, there was no point in transferring MH information to Ancestry platforms, or vice versa, any further. I'm disappointed. It leaves my dubious about MH capacity and about their business confidence in co-operating with competitors on the global IT stage.
Called MyHeritage support today since by mistake the site showed that it is about to expire.
Took some time to get a response but once responded the rep did an excellent job of fixing the issue immediately during our call and verified that the issue is actually fixed.
I made an initial error in entering my email address into my account. I then could not log on. The MyHeritage support service and many other departments requires the account number to contact them. While this is clearly a problem for a new user with no account number I did manage to call the sales group and within minutes my issue was resolved and Nicole was extremely helpful in getting my account information corrected and assisting me in getting logged on. Thanks for a job well done!
I was a happy paying Myheritage customer for years. Recently I discovered a search malfunction on their site and contacted support to get it fixed. Unfortunately their support turned out to be a scam. Any time I called representative checked my concerns and confirmed it looks like a bug. But then the ticket #******* raised got to "next level" of support that could never help. After a month of email exchanges they finally reproduced the problem (and I clearly indicated steps to reproduce from the very beginning). Afterwards they said that I am doing it wrong and provided a different steps that should work. I checked and it did not work either. I told them that it does not work and they stopped answering my emails. Next step would be to ask for a refund of my subscription price as they clearly don't fulfill the contract.
Dear Vitalii,
I'm sorry to read your low star review and to read about your experience with our support team.
I have located your account and have read the correspondence with one of our representatives and I see that there are some misunderstandings. It seems that the issue you speak of is not a malfunction, it is just the way it is.
If I understand correctly you are unable to see your own results when you search for yourself in our search engine. The truth is that we filter out results from family sites you are the Webmaster of so you will always find new information that you've never seen before. This is just the way it is. It is not a bug. It is implemented to avoid confusion when you research your tree.
We actually explain this in a very popular FAQ found here:
https://faq.myheritage.com/en/article/can-i-see-my-own-sites-in-supersearch
That said, perhaps we can develop a feature that will allow you to view your results. Your feedback has already been sent up the chain of command to consider a different method. Feature requests such as these are prioritized according to how many users are affected by them and how much time and investment they will require of the development team. Some things that seem minor may actually be related to the infrastructure and require major changes that affect many other features.
All said, if you are in need of any assistance, please feel free to e-mail me directly at rafael.vipsupport@myheritage.com.
I'd be always happy to help.
Sincerely
Rafael

A great help, a live person who was patient, understanding and helpful,. This is a rarity.
Today. He straightened me out on forgotten passwords and email addresses. Truly enjoyed getting results as this old man doesn't understand all I know about computers.
The help section actually is helpful.
I had a problem in my program, which prevented me from adding a kin to it. The Common Questions section of Heritage Support Center had not proper answer to the mishap. I sent them a letter, described the dilemma, and after few days they fixed what was wrong.
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team (support@myheritage.com).
Answer: If you are looking to get as many connections to your tree that you can, use My Heritage. If you want flexibility in who is added to your tree, use Ancestry.
Answer: Dear Jonathan, Yes I have the same problem, I wrote to My Heritage and they have still not responded to my request for assistance. They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to support@myheritage.com and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
MyHeritage is generally well-regarded for its user-friendly platform and extensive database, which many customers find invaluable for tracing their ancestry and connecting with relatives. Users appreciate the regular updates and the powerful search capabilities that facilitate discoveries. However, concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly related to billing issues and the difficulty of reaching support. Some users have reported feeling overwhelmed by the volume of information and have encountered challenges in verifying data. Overall, while the service is praised for its features, improvements in customer support and communication are necessary to enhance user satisfaction.

Hi Charles,
I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble researching your family and I would be happy to help you. I don't exactly understand which e-mail you received but I can assure you that MyHeritage offers more than just an e-mail to research your family.
Here are some of the best ways you may research your family history using MyHeritage.
One way would be to search your family names using our specialized genealogy search engine, SuperSearch, can be found at this URL:
Copy this URL into your browser while logged in if would like to learn more about SuperSearch:
https://www.myheritage.com/research
Another way to research your family would be to simply build a family tree at MyHeritage and get Record Matches. Record Matches searches behind the scenes for records from SuperSearch that match the names in your tree and notifies you when it finds a match. Record Matching is automatic for anyone with a family tree on a MyHeritage family site.
Copy this URL into your browser while logged in to learn more about Record Matching technology:

If you already have your family tree at MyHeritage, take advantage of Smart Matches. This unique feature compares your family tree to the millions of other family trees on MyHeritage.com and discovers family trees that match (overlap) your tree. This feature can be found in the site under the ‘Smart Matches’ section that can be reached by clicking on the Family Tree tab and selecting the ‘Smart Matches’ option, or in the Family Tree Builder software.
Copy this URL into your browser while logged in and learn more about the Smart Matches option:

And finally you can also even test your DNA with MyHeritage and get a comprehensive Ethnicity Estimate to discover your ethnic origins, and obtain DNA Matches to find relatives with whom you share DNA.
