I had a most wonderful experience talking with your representative last night about my questions on "Double First Cousins" and the amount of "Double DNA" I have when comparing my results to a relative that had his DNA results compared to my DNA. Your representative understood exactly what I was saying about the amount of Double DNA from a Double First Cousin's.
This is a subject that needs to be address on your website. The marriage of 1st cousins happened many times before WWII in rural areas where people traveled less and only knew people from their own families and neighbors.
This will help people understand that the relationship of family with Double DNA will or may show a closer relationship to each other than they really are.

My Heritage tree has grown rather large due to a few famous people who have many descendants. Consequently, I seem to get a large number of Smart-Matches and Record Matches. Today I noticed that I have several duplications in my tree, and also that a few early Australian ancestors were linked to an incorrect mother after 3 marriages of a key figure in the chain (his other 2 wives had died young during childbirth). The support team member I was put through to, Zvonimir, was extremely helpful and patient. He quietly led me through the process of finding and eliminating some duplications in my tree, and then helped me learn how to disconnect links and add links to another person in order to correct my problem. It was very time consuming and I really appreciated his support with teaching me and discussing how such issues can arise in the first place.
I am now more equipped to deal with the software and will work on cleaning up my tree over the next few weeks.

I had a trouble with delivering 2 DNA kits a year ago - I have never received them. Despite the issue happened long time ago and it's rather my local post problem than theirs, customer support has re-sent 2 DNA packages for me again with no charge. When I phoned My Heritage a Lady the capital "L" is purposely typed as she proved her royalty through the patience, kindness and intelligence she rewarded me with. Lady Lana truly had to think for two as I was a bit confused a consequence of my lack of youth and illness. My Heritage is awesome and if you have a problem do not hesitate to call them for help. When you do please remember to have your account number ready and they will look after the rest.

Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.

He told me to send an email to support@myheritage.com and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
