The WORST. Never have I experienced a digital experience as poor as this, though what do you expect from a government tech initiative?! Would absolutely echo those saying they'd give zero if they could. I'd argue minus values are more appropriate.
Tried logging in to be told my account had inexplicably been permanently locked with 0 warning. My only resolution, based on the error message, was to set up new one. Tried to link my Medicare account having to answer a number of questions along the way. Submitted all responses and was faced with the same screen, same set of questions again being told I need to provide further info. But my options are…the same.
Spoke to a lovely lady at the call centre who entered exactly the same info as I had tried online and was able to get me moving. Poor lady had to ask for and enter all my details twice because she's dealing with a broken customer experience as well. Christ on a bike though, the online experience for MyGov is a hellscape even Pinhead would be jealous of.
Crashes, also you have to unregister from another device before registering again from a new one! No notifications are offered, and there is far to much red tape
Got sent a letter right before the end of
Financial year. Asked me to pay back $2977. I was like WTF!. They told me I had to pay back everything I claimed when I was unemployed (I was entitled to the payments, hence being on their payment in the first place). Didn't clear it up with them straight away (because their app wouldn't load my payslips, to prove I was entitled to the payments). Went to do my tax return, and they took that amount away from me.
I've tried to upload my payslips to them over 10 times now, but it always fails to load.
I feel like I've been scammed.
I am unable to log my business BAS and PAYG.
I Have registered for MY GOV and RAM. The system it just does not work. I have had to redo mygov id 3 times, and now i can not log in to the portal to log my PAYG, and do my staff superannuation. How can they remove the old system on 31st March? How can I pay my liabilities when the system is such a complete failure? I asked if i can come into the office and pay - told NO. I am small business and me and my partner have wasted weeks on this.
I've been trying to verify my identification for the past 3 hours, I've followed what they've told me step by step, looked on my myGov website to see exactly what they want from me, I do what they say to the absolute max and quadruple check every character I've entered and the same 442 error is appearing saying something is wrong with my identification? Nothing is wrong! They don't even explain what's wrong or what you need to fix they just lock you out of your account or ban you instantly with nothing to go off, besides to visit the myGov website. Complete and absolute joke of an app, I'm a 17 year old teenager who spends most their time on electronics and this is still impossible, I truly feel bad for the elderly who may not use electronics, because this would be impossible for them. Aren't the developers of this app meant to have government level professionalism? This is the complete opposite. Now when I finally do complete this, my tax will be going towards paying the undeserving developers of this app. They need to be fired instantly and replaced. Do better.
This GOVERNMENT PORTAL, paid for by US, THE PEOPLE is the absolute worst, most difficult to navigate, most un-intuitive waste of time you could ever imagine.
If you wanted to confuse your tax-paying fundees this would be a textbook way to hate you forever.

The new mygov is $#*!, it took my 45 minutes to sign in and still can't report. You fixed that wasn't broken, centrelink express was the best no stuffing about
Just waited 45 minutes on a hold because of a problem MyGimps made happen. Just for an overpaid $#*!-guzzling wh0re to not reply to a single thing i say and then hang up on me.

I spent hours on the phone back in 2020 trying to update MyGov as a result of getting a new mobile phone number. I gave up. I recently (and stupidly) thought things may have improved in 2022 however despite spending hours on the phone with Sunil who had no idea whatsoever, who told me to ring back on the same number I rang him on for help, who promised that he had updated my mobile phone number in the system and to give it a couple of hours - that it was all fixed, THE SYSTEM HAS NOT BEEN UPDATED, Sunil, THE CODE STILL GOES TO MY OLD MOBILE PHONE NUMBER as I told him it would. I cannot access MyGov! I told 'Sunil' I needed to create a new account but he said all he had to do was update the mobile phone number in the system. Itold him that was not correct. Twice I asked to speak to a supervisor but was denied. Today I though I would try to set up my digital identity only to complete the process and the code was send to my old phone number. No stars for My Gov! I give up. MyGov sucks. If this is the best customer service we receive as taxpayers then no wonder Australia is going downhill fast.

I'd been keeping a close eye on MyGov Inbox expecting some mail that would need a response within 2 weeks... I last checked MyGov on the 2nd of September, finding nothing new since the 20th of August.
Get a notification on the 4th of September that I've received some new mail... Open MyGov, and it's showing the new mail as received on the 3rd of AUGUST!? Yep, it's showing it was received BEFORE mail I'd already read on the 20th of August, despite the fact it didn't actually show up until the 4th of September... So the system back dated the received date over one month!
I work in law and I can't see how a system that behaves like that can be legal... Absolute disgrace.
Mygov website in Australia is a government "all in one" site for all federal government departments that the public has to deal with for most issues relating to the general public. Problem is that mygov is basically a tool of the Australian government to impose harsh, unrealistic, unjust, unfair and down right illegal acts, decisions and process that all sections in it are responsible for!. Mygov site is an attempt to bring together all information about everyone in all departments into one area, good in the sense it is a "one stop shop" bad in the sense that all departments share all info and each department uses all the info to it's discretion, in other words, now the government knows all and everything about everyone on it's list, "big brother is watching". The site is a-typical of the Australian government, it is designed and implemented to the wants and needs of the government departments, with little to no care or feedback from the public, and even with feedback, nothing is ever done, nothing is ever acknowledged and the Australian government and it's departments label anyone (in a very typical dictatorship style) that complains as a "trouble maker" regardless of weather the government is in the right or wrong.
All data entered is correct and checked but the app displays the unable to verify window each time. Don't waste your time on this stupidy designed app.
Just terrible. Round in circles. Over and over again with the useless redundant information. Just needs to be rewritten from the bottom up. Start again.

The simple act of getting a digital certificate for the covid vaccination through the mygov website is a nightmare. If any information entered about medicare records is mismatching, the whole lot needs to be entered again, leaving the user guessing better answers, with no feedback about where the mistake lays. Who knows which of their old phone numbers may be jamming up the process of identification? The help lines are overrun and busy, the amount of spoken and written text encountered in the process is overly abundant. Which jokers have come up with such a cumbersome, frustrating and time wasting system? There is not much choice but to go to our local medicare office, which, hopefully hasn't fallen victim to the digital craze, to sort this problem out, again investing more time, while increasing exposure to the circulating viral load of pathogens. Armed with the correct and current information from medicare my present hurdle may be surmountable, but I have my elderly mother sitting here, getting increasingly frustrated, since her new ipad with its own SIM card is not accepted by mygov since she initially registered with her old gadget. Get real Australia, make the digital life more simple and not ever more complicated.
I facilitate government tenders, and if this was the interface that we expected customers/citizens to navigate through to perform simple administrative tasks, I'd be seriously considering whether the contractor had met their deliverables laid out in the agreement when producing this garbage. It's hard to imagine someone was paid for this.
I am now on my 4th MyGov account, 4th new useless email account etc etc over the years trying to simply access my ATO and Medicare records. The phone lines take hours and tell you about how you can access this all through MyGov - clearly they've never tried! Worst application I've ever had to use. I wish it did us all a favour and just didn't turn on in the first place so it wouldn't waste my time. I feel sorry for anyone that is in a position that has to use it.
If anyone reads this from the MyGov team - Please amend this atrocity. This thing is supposed to be user friendly!? It's enough to make me pull my hair out. And then when I reach the customer service operator they tell me that documents will only be issued through MyGov app.
This application feels like it was designed simply for the purpose of producing unnecessary, insurmountable red tape to dissuade anyone from ever achieving anything through any of the linked Govt bodies.

I'm deaf. I set up all mygov apps on both my ipad and computer. Not easy but eventually worked it out.
All worked fine until my computer or ipad was hacked. I reset the ipad and sent the computer to a pro to check. Email from MyGov telling me there was an important message.
Off to sign in through the ipad app off to the MyGov generator and told my device was already registered so please delete it and re register through Account settings. Back to the computer and aaaaargh I don't believe it; to get to account settings you have to get a code from the generator... and... please phone the help desk. I'm deaf; what do I do now?
Send an email to myGov of course. Naturally they're all too busy having cups of tea and going to meetings to actually have an online help desk so an email it is. I sent one telling them my problems and why I cannnot get into myGov. That was seven days ago. No reply.
Deciding to try to access MY myGov through the Digital Identity I spent another half an hour putting in the information in the hope I don't have to use the Generator.
All worked fine and the ipad connected to the computer connected to the knee bone, connected to the... what in the name of the wee man? It just asked me for the code through code generator!... and told me... The device is already registered so phone 13 23 07. Help me please... it's Catch 22 time or dealing with morons in myGov.
