I bought 2 watches both are faulty and not what I ordered I am currently trying to get a refund they asked for videos which I sent 2 he still refuses to refund I am currently going through the complaints with my deal then the seller who is from China pretending to be from my deal sent me an email stating that the issues had been resolved and lied about it I am not happy and would never purchase from my deal again. Also both watches are not what I ordered.

Give MyDeal a miss
December 2, 2019

I purchased the 5-in-1 Giantz Garden Powertool set from MyDeal a few years ago. Of course the warranty has expired. But an internal part in the motor failed and no replacement part is available (apparently) rendering almost a shed full of tools completely useless. Imagine if your car or motorbike or even your pushbike was rendered absolutely useless because one small ($15) part failed. I am sure Consumer Affairs will act on my behalf. But I'll give MyDeal a miss in future.

I ordered a robot vacuum cleaner for much cheaper price than in normal shop. I read lots of bad reviews but it actually came on time. Only thing it's not the quality I expected but it's my fault. I didn't read all the reviews of the product.

Wine fridge unfortunately only holds 750 ml size bottles, to hold larger bottles eg champagne, need to remove one of the shelves thus reducing fridge capacity. Sought to cancel order which hadn't gone anywhere was going to cost@$150 for a $500 item!
Allied Express delivery tracker said next day delivery, it being 1,400 klms by road, impossible.Now waiting day 7 it's been sitting in Lismore depot last 5 days no one can advise me on delivery as it goes to Allied's agent, they won't tell me who
That is.I have to contact Allied, Allied contacts agent seeking update back to them in 24 hrs, when no reply I contact Allied again, again they send message again seeking update in another 24 hrs. If that doesn't work apparently Allied get Supervisor to contact their agent to contact me directly with ¥^€_is going on. TBC

I have experienced about 3 months of sorrow with my deals customer service. After two months they agreed to a refund less a restocking fee. A month after they have had possession of the lights they have still not paid my refund.

Woolworths own My Deal and should be ashamed of this lousy service.

Avoid My Deal at all costs!

Website states delivery within 24-48 hours, 6 weeks later I still haven't received the item. The website is hard to navigate to report issues and when I attempted to call the number listed on the website it simply stated 'no one was available' and to call back 'later'. I will not use this website again

Why didn't I read the reviews first

MyDeals Au is a waste of time. It appears they just place the order on another company, take their clip off the top and move on. When you ask where is your order, the response is just wait another day. If you do not mind waiting for days for a response and then wait weeks for delivery, then go ahead and use them. Or alternatively, if you find something on their website, contact the original seller and deal direct. Their customer services is terrible. Was going to order more items. Their website is easy to use, very well laid out. Great range of products too. Unfortunatley thats where it all stops. So glad I did not buy anymore items and left it at one (1). Like many here reviewing this company, I too will be going to the ACCC.

Dodgy Dodgy Dodgy
August 24, 2020

Ordered a coffee table. Ok, so it was fairly cheap and I wasn't expecting miracles, but upon opening the box the item was clearly scratched and damaged. Several emails back and forth with seller and finally agreed to a full refund. But don't be fooled, agreeing to a refund apposed to actually giving the refund are two very different things. More emailing and getting nowhere. Have tried contacting MyDeal and can get no response. Nearly three weeks and no refund. There is no phone number you can call. Avoid this company if you can, I should have.

Avoid this seller
February 15, 2016

After purchasing on the 21st of January my order was not shipped until the 11th of February. It took several emails to find out what the hold up was. I asked for my order to be shipped or a refund. Neither of which was done & to have replies of it will be investigated. After my third email I received a smarmy reply on the 11th to say it has been shipped & the tracking number. No apology, no explanation of why it took 3 weeks to ship my order. I will never ever use mydeal again. I suggest that if people want their items shipped within a decent time frame after purchase DO NOT use mydeal.

Fake Ugg Moccasins

The slippers are cheap and are made in China, masquerading as 'genuine UGG', by a seller called Boutique Retailer. Mydeal are not responding to my several complaints for a refund under the terms of their guarantee!

TOTAL TIME WASTERS

Bought a bench after hours 8.00pm cancelled 4 hours later before opening of business got an e mail all sorted at depach 2 days later got an e mail to say on its way after numerous attempts to contact them everything works with a ticket was advised if courier delivers i need to pay for return freight also 22% handling fee before my refund

Before making a purchase I always look at reviews. Even after seeing the justified poor reviews I still ignored them because of my need for this purchase. I called them before making sure the purchase was in stock. I was informed it was in stock. Made the 2700 purchase all to get a response from vendor saying they had no stock. For people chasing reviews to make a decision. Do not waste your time with these guys, unless youre into investing wasted time, like I did.

I recently bought a artiss 3 drawer dresser, there were mistakes on the instructions and the 2 backing boards that go behind the dresser don't match up for fitting,the product its is poor quality,rough bits and one piece has a chip on it and when the unit arrived the box had been damaged and the entire unit that has been installed is very rocky side to side and not very sturdy. Not very impressed

This company will rip you off they make it easy to purchase but refuse to refund when they make you try to join paypal to only offer a credit note, i refuse to join paypal because as we all know it's one of the worlds most hacked sites on the internet. Do not and i repeat do not trust this company...

I purchased a vidaXL dining setting from Mydeal (however the supplier was a third party called vidaXL). The setting arrived with a broken box, cracked chair leg, broken table top, broken frame and screws strewn around the box. I was offered a $35 refund or replacement parts. After advising that neither was acceptable and that the setting needed to be collected and a refund in full provided. The setting was collected on Monday and I have still not received my refund. Mydeal and vidaXl will not acknowledge my emails or refund. Fair trading and bank dispute it is. Stay well clear of both parties! The furniture is rubbish and their business acumen is zero.

Fraud

They advertise a product for a cheap attractive price, then they deliver the wrong item, and when you inform the item delivered is not what you order, they change the price, size and codes to make it look like you ordered the wrong product.

Avoid them or you would be paying more as refund don't apply to them, they want you to pay for freight return and they WON'T refund 100% of the purchase price. They are scammers they also use the name Super and cheaper, not cheaper when you are not happy with the item you cannot use
We are taking them to court

I purchased a Bestway above ground pool a few weeks ago.

A short time later I received a message saying the purchase was being cancelled and money would be refunded at some stage.

I sent an email asking what the reason was and they said the product was out of stock.

I then checked that there was over 17 of the same pool on same dimensions available at a higher price.

I emailed them explaining this with photo proof and they then said they couldn't send it to me regional location. I informed them I can easily have it sent to Perth to pick up.

It seems they were happy to cancel my purchase to chase a high price

I purchased a king bed sheet set.
My understanding of a sheet set is a top sheet and a bottom sheet and pillow cases.
I have done research on this and I was correct with what I have always purchased in the past. I purchased through my deal a sheet set, arrived was a bottom fitted sheet and two pillow cases. When I questioned my deal they of course pushed me off the the scammer seller who quickly told me a sheet set is one sheet and two pillow cases. His name is Jeffrey. Well I have purchased dozens of sheets sets over the past 40 years and never have I come across this. Oh good old Jeffrey had a solution I had to pay another $38 to get the top sheet. I believe this is the scam and I have not been offered a refund I just keep getting the same email repeating the same thing. And my deal just keeps pushing off to the scammer seller. So be careful of my deal and Ecoliving collection

Their Customer Service especially on emails continues to frustrate you by replying generic responses. They hide behind emails and their on the phone customer service repeats the same you receive in email. They are only after your money.
