Their Customer Service especially on emails continues to frustrate you by replying generic responses. They hide behind emails and their on the phone customer service repeats the same you receive in email. They are only after your money. They are unprofessional and they keep referring you to their 'sellers', where in fact you pay for products you purchase through myDeal; no seller or courier information available to end customer. I am yet to retrieve $100 from them which I paid for an order I have not received.

I paid mydeal $400 for 2 phones in January. Neither works, and they will not refund me. I have returned to them once for repair, and one came back with a broken screen and can't turn it on, the other still has a touch screen that doesn't work. They claim I broke the screen and want another $100 from me to fix it. I still have nothing for my $400

I bought the Mayson taylorbunk bed for my lil ones room. When I received it there was parts damaged, no instruction manualof items in the box, no items were numbered. Requested new parts which I received damaged again and the quality of them was terrible. When trying to put it together there were still parts missing, holes didn't match when trying to assemble, finally when putting it together after having to do my own adjustments the staircase/ draws looked uneven and the bed itself does not look stable or solid. So disappointed especially for the money that I paid.

Purchase never arrived
October 5, 2020

I purchased a folding knife from myDeal, and received a confirmation email on the 24 August 2020 that the product was on its way. Tracking number was also provided. The package hasn't arrived, and Australia post claim that they have no record of the tracking number. I tried to contact MyDeal directly, however, this seems impossible to do. I have a sense that this is scam and suggest buyer beware!

Don't honor the warranty
January 28, 2021

I bought a Infrared Thermometer, It worked great at the start, after 9 months it stopped working. Replaced batteries many times and it still didn't work. I contacted MyDeal and the seller said it was out of warranty. I said your booklet that came with the unit said 12 months, they didn't care and said we only offer 6 months warranty. The problem is that complaining to ACCC about a $99 thermometer is not going to go anywhere and they know it. They don't care about Australian Consumer law. A bunch of crooks

Ordered a dog harness two years ago. Fast to take my money... and whilst a tracking post number was given to me, it never worked. Fast forward two years, and I still have not received the product or the refund. Communications with my deal have been futile and they have refused to abide by consumer law stating that if a purchase is not received in a reasonable time, then the consumer is entitled to a refund. They refuse the refund. The least I can do then is leave reviews of my experience so that others don't get ripped off. No wonder they made so much money so quickly...

We purchased a sandpit online from mydeal and it was the biggest waste of money. Our daughter NEVER used the sandpit due to the issues with the original product have multiple broken or damaged parts. We were then offered replacement parts that they couldn't even then get correct. This company is terrible and dont record and customer phone calls, nor can you speak to any management over the phone. All we asked for was a refund on the original item because of the such poor quality with more than enough substantial evidence of the damaged parts and all they were willing to refund was 20% of the original value!
Never use this company if you want anything of decent quality or if you wanted to be treated with respect

Liars and dishonest

We have waited for pump for weeks but never got it because it was not dispatched so we asked to be cancelled and refunded to place another order from another provider. Did call. Email and been tolled form my deal it is being resolved, waited more than 11 days with no refund or any email but only auto email they have received our complains. After 23days with no refund or any thing to resolve this. When bye they deduced the money within 1M but to give you back your money is endless! Why not deduced after they deliver not when place the order trolley they have double standards.
Why my deal stated it was resolved but we did not get our money or the item was delivered or any reply how it is been resolved! Why ignore us! Why push us into such troubles and make us loose time and money! From 7/5/22 to 28/5/22 is 21 days!

DISGUSTING SERVICE

Customer service is disgusting. Cannot call them, cannot email. They should not be operating. I will never buy from them again. I ordered a chess set and realised within the hour that i should have ordered draughts instead. So i cancelled order straight away. No answer, no reply. Nothing Nothing from them

Faulty item

They dont refund the money, be careful about buying here, waste and loss of money, bought faulty machine, and send it back next day and after 2 months of hassles and checking with buyer, got email that the machine is working fine and we can't refund it. Customer service is pathetic.don't recommend

Rude after sales Irish girl that would not help me with a parts issue in any way or form and treated me with utter disrespect.
They offer absolutely no after sales service and in no way treat you like a paying customer and consistently run you in circles through emails with absolutely no outcome.
Do not buy from these charlatans for piece of mind.

Incomplete Shipment
June 30, 2021

We ordered and received a box of what we thought was our complete purchase. After opening the box we found there were pieces missing. We contacted MyDeal and all we got was an email quoting our tracking number for the item we received. Seriously! They didn't even read our request for the missing pieces! From our photos you can see the holes for the missing pieces and from their own photo on their website.

Ordered a dozen Margaret River SSB wines from Mydeal. The first order was great, on time on a what I ordered. It was all down hill after that. At least half of the wines were not from Margaret River, and they were revolting. Service has been appalling, they don't return emails and there is no phone number. The original supplier is Just Wines (DO NOT use this company either) they're just as bad.

If you are a seller it would be a best marketplace in AU. If you are a buyer you must be aware that their system doesn't care about you and very hard to communicate with a seller if you have issues by a seller.

Worst chair ever
October 14, 2020

Bought, what I thought to be, a pretty good chair. Cost $215. Chair came disassembled! Couldn't assemble it because none of the screw holes matched up. I used to be a cabinet maker and this has to be the worst piece of furniture I have ever seen. So badly made. I now have the odious task of returning it, which will cost me an arm and a leg and, I'm assuming, my refund will take forever to get back to me :(

I purchased the mulberry silk pillows which came in a 2 pack, the pillows had a luxurious feel, and were super soft and comfortable, but I was angry when I found out that they were made in China, as I specifically asked if they were Australian made. Delivery was fine, and the quality appears fine too. Happy customer, I will use them again.

It is the first time I shop from My Deal. They took my money but don't send the order. No contact number, no people reply emails. I need this order as my boyfriend's birthday gift this week, but I am afraid I can't give him on time because I brought the gift from a spam website which is the biggest mistake I ever made.

Bought two products from two different factories. One product is okay, not great quality for what I paid for it. The other was a chair that came with the wrong bolts (instructions called for hex bolts of several different sizes, I got twelve bolts with nuts all same size) and I had no way to assemble it. Seller closed my support ticket without replying, then when I reopened it said they wouldn't do anything as item out of stock. Eventually managed to refund it but am still out of pocket as freight to send it back cost more than half of original price and shipping, and they have just refunded the original AfterPay transaction with no apology or reimbursement for postage. The MyDeal support staff seemed okay but if they're going to engage with such dodgy sellers I would avoid the entire site regardless.

I bought 2 watches both are faulty and not what I ordered I am currently trying to get a refund they asked for videos which I sent 2 he still refuses to refund I am currently going through the complaints with my deal then the seller who is from China pretending to be from my deal sent me an email stating that the issues had been resolved and lied about it I am not happy and would never purchase from my deal again. Also both watches are not what I ordered.
