I used to look forward to using the MCR site. I dont have twitter or istagram so I can only have a Bronze account. The bonze level had the option to redeem for 2 contest and 2 coupons today. I am a 40 year old busy mom who is not going to be using twitter or istagram so I guess Coke is going to penalize me. What does Coke care about me having all these accounts, free advertising? Thanks for nothing Coke. I used to brag about your program.

I heard about coke rewards when McDonald had the Monopoly and one of the prizes where 50 rewards as a prize and i followed the links on the Maccas website. I ended up on the register page and i registered and it said: Thank you for your interest in this site, but we are unable to accept your registration at this time. I tried the next day it said the same thing, and the next day and today twice. I say STAY AWAY!

Well current day Coke rewards is VERY poorly handled. Over the past 6 months I have tracked my reward entries, the rules and winnings for each event. I have entered over 300 codes since around July of 2018, which is irrelevant for this topic, but I wanted to demonstrate that my experiences is more than a few days or weeks long. None of the events post any winners at the locations that is listed in the rules. For example look at this: Here is the link to the rules for an event that has ended. As with many other reviewers, I found the "old" coke rewards program to be quite fun and it made sense. Save up your bottle caps and periodically "earn" a coupon for a free 12-pack or something. Did that for years. I just knew when they announced this "new and improved" program that we were going to get $crewed. I have probably 200-300 bottle caps and at least 100 codes from 12 packs that I will probably just end up tossing away. I was able to get rid of a bunch last year when they offered $2 Dunkin Donuts gift cards by using pretty much every email address of everyone I'd ever known. LOL. At least I got something for them. This year... nothing. I refuse to waste my time scanning them for a charity which will probably never see a cent. I played a couple of the raffles. Maxed out the codes every day for the entire window the game was open and didn't win a thing. It's actually kind of liberating though. I find myself buying Pepsi again and Dr Pepper and other drinks I had avoided because they didn't have "the code". Coke needs to just wrap it up. This is worse than having no program.

Though our household enjoyed Coke brands well BEFORE the rewards program began, coke certainly had much serious competition that would often win over the cupboard real estate space. The rewards program made Coke brands take front and center as goals for what used to be desirable items and choices helped to entertain all. Now all that is left of the program is a shadow, a ghost of what once was. Coke should be embarrassed at how they've totally bungled their now turned cheesy, makeshift rewards program. The new program is totally anemic at best as donating rewards to causes are offered by many, many other products. We NEVER appreciate having a REAL CHOICE taken away. We enjoyed using our points for some of "everything" (donations, items, etc.) but NOW we are NOT Buying, Drinking NOR even THINKING coke products! This is America and We LIKE V-A-R-I-E-T-Y. So... Good-bye Coke, it was nice while it lasted.

MCR used to be great. It motivated me to buy Coke products and the rewards were good. Then they got lamer and more points needed. Now Coke ascended MCR and I had 1,000 points I couldn't use. I am glad the j used points were donated to charity so they didn't go to waste, but now this new Coke program is the worst. They kept messing around with a good program until this new one which is the lamest yet. I am cutting out Diet Coke. Perhaps this stupid "rewards" program is a blessing in a disguise.
