In all these years, there was not even a single problem with my orders. Sitting in India, collecting vinyls from all over the world, excellent vinyls at reasonable prices - all this without any hassle - Musicstack has made this impossible task smooth as cakewalk. I've purchased dozens of records online and never had a problem until now. It clearly shipped out damaged. Dave from Music Stack offered his condolences and hoped the seller would reach out to me. Gee thanks "Dave". The seller "I can refund $3.00 if that helps". Well no, because the record cost me 5 times that. There is no way this record shipped out undetected. Side one has DENTS in the vinyl! Good luck if you have a problem. BUYER BEWARE!
Unfortunately, this seller had someone filling in for him and the guy messed up sent out a less than perfect order. The seller did a lame job of trying to make it right. I advised the buyer to go to paypal to get a full refund but for some reason he didn't want to do that to solve the issue. We have over 1,200 sellers on our platform and once in a while they do screw up. It is best to read each sellers feedback profile and view their seller stats to know what kind of seller you are dealing with. Most are excellent, but there are a few sellers who don't provide the best customer service (case in point). But know in the end PayPal will have you covered if you don't receive what you ordered or if it is not in the condition you expect.
We've been selling on MusicStack for over 10 years and it's a great place to sell vinyl record albums, CD's and cassettes. Dave Stack, the owner, had made inventory management a key to the success of the web site. He also takes a hands-on approach, and has come up with an easy to navigate platform that makes buyers and sellers quite happy.

I often use this site when I want specific unique items which I generally can't find after hours of trawling elsewhere. If you can't find it, then a nice touch is you can leave a request to let you know immediately it is listed again (has worked for me many times).

I'm old, but remember some wonderful songs from the 70's that the artists have been lost in time. I track down who did the songs and MusicStack does the rest. They find the album, the digitize it with amazing quality, and send both album and CD's to your house. My memories are restored! Thanks MusicTrack for such a great service!

MusicStack is a site for independent sellers to list CDs, 45s, LPs, and other formats of recorded music for sale. Many sellers list more items on MusicStack than on other sites and/or items they do not list anywhere else. In addition, the rating system which evaluates sellers on MusicStack is much better than the ratings found elsewhere. It considers such issues as did the seller list items for sale that were unavailable? Did the seller respond quickly to those wanting to make a purchase? Was the item as received in the same condition as it was described in the listing?

Millions of records, CDs and music related DVDs are offered here. Mostly cheaper than on Ebay or Amazon. Sellers from all over the world. Site is well structured and it is easy to find the copies, I am searching for.

I had very few sales, I figured few were looking for the genre I was selling. I complained to David Stack that I should be able to see a list of all my sales, he blew up and suspended my account.
I am so glad he did because I found Discogs; way better if you have rare records, you can easily identify the pressing. However, the best part is way more sales, I was getting inquiries as I was building my inventory.
Music Stack may be good for mainstream, but it seems like its small time to me.
You are correct that MusicStack is a small operation. In fact, it is ran by one person, and that person is me. I operate a very hands on operation and run a tight ship and don't put us B. S. (from buyers or sellers). This way I can keep the integrity of the platform extremely high and keep nonsense out.
In the 22+ years of operating Musicstack I have only had to suspend a handful of sellers and that usually was because these sellers where found to be dishonest, or sellers that were extremely rude, demanding or who otherwise provided terrible customer experience and/or service. Unfortunately, you fell into the later categories.
Musicstack is definitely the best place to sell AND purchase records. If you have a problem that can't be worked out directly with the seller, let Dave Stack know. He's personable and very hands on. You won't be disappointed.
An awesome site to buy or sell music from. Any problems and the owner Dave Stack is right onto it. Very personal and professional service. When buying here I have had no issues with the sellers and the same when I have sold something here.

Have just made my first purchase through Music stack and it didn't work out. Bought 1 LP Procol Harum, A Salty Dog from Vinyl Rocks. There's a large C shaped scratch though the 4th 5th and 6th track and it really clicks. The seller has not changed status to shipped so I can't leave feedback and by the looks of it you can't contact Music stack. Obviously the seller knew the album was badly scratched so deliberately kept status as 'not yet shipped' so I can't do anything about it. Have mailed them but he doesn't want to know. So avoid Vinyl Rocks folks. They are dodgy.
I'm with Musicstack since over 15 years, and never had any issues with this site for both buying or selling. Easy way to purchase rarities and gems, recordings of any formats and periods from anywhere in the world all that from your own rockingchair
Of course, as any a marketplace, you need to take care about sellers reputations but all you need to know about them about it is clear.

MusicStack is a record collector's dream. It's just like being in a massive record shop, but in the comfort of your own home. It's a little quirky in places, but I have found many rare releases that were unavailable elsewhere, so well worth a visit.
