Ordered 2 items, they were too big, sent them back for a different size, they won't respond to my emails. So I'm out the money for the items and shipping them back
I thought I would check them out and bought a few items... The clothing is of poor quality, smells of chemicals - AND - you can't return or get any response from them at all.
I have made numerous attempts to return, filled out the proper forms on their site, and still no response. It is a SCAM!
Company based out of China. Ordered 3 items. All made cheap. I wanted to return one item. Tried several times to chat online - no response. They don't offer any telephone number. Their return procedure is impossible to navigate through I put in 2 tickets and never heard back from them. Beware - I will never order from them again.
It is a company based in China that sells cheap clothes, sized way too small and refuses to give back a full refund even though you pay for shipping. They want to nip you a few or a lot of dollars for taking back a shipment. They also make it so difficult to do returns... with exact demands, exact wording on package, no use of mail packages from your home, must be a selected shipper that gives a tracking number. When you do reach agreement on the shipment coming back, while they list your full purchase price on the online receipt as the refund they will give you... it comes back less than they promised. Scam company. Avoid.
Sent back $115 worth of clothes after purchasing $285 worth. Went through PayPal for payment. After a whole lot of back and forth tickets and notes to Modlily they finally agreed to refund my $. Then it took 6 weeks before I finally got a check. The check was over $8 less than my $115 because everyone had to get a cut of the refund. I also paid $10.15 to mail the clothes back to Modlily and I did not realize PayPal would have refunded my return cost until it was past their 30 day refund period limit. Anyway for those wondering if Modlily actually does send a refund well I did get one but what a hassle! Some of the clothes were nice but not really worth all the trouble I went through. Just buy American!
This business is in China. Clothes do not look like the pictures and are of cheap material. Return policy is impossible. Save your money! I wish I had read the reviews before ordering.
I do like their clothing, but my complaint is, I ordered a shirt that was according to them out of stock. They charged me for the shirt anyway, and will not refund my money.
It's best to buy from an American company, as they're much easier to deal with.
I took a chance but was completely disappointed. Terrible quality and no refunds! Picture of sweater was so cute but it looks nothing like the photo advertised.
I was impressed with picture of top and goofed off and ordered one. My big mistake. Too large not like usual small size and slick material. Would be embarrassed to give it away. It is white sweatshirt style with blue designs what a mess.
I ordered 3 tops and I hate them all. They are cheap and look nothing like the pictures. The tie dye sweatshirt is a joke... made of some slick fabric with a 'picture' of tie dye printed on it. The beige and gray hooded sweater isn't anything like the picture. The gray floral is huge and some horrible fabric. I wont even try to return them after reading other reviews. I wish I had done that before spending over $100. Very disappointing. This should be outlawed!
I bought items through this sorry company,,, they were too big and when i wanted a return all they would do was offer 20% and i pay return shipping. They order all their stuff from china and your lucky to get it in 30 days... This company has shady business practices so order at your own risk,,,, it sure isn't a risk to them!
This company is fake and unreliable with their products, delivery method and lengthy availability of the items been sent to you. Their products look shabby, not exactly what it shows on the website as. They don't send correct sizes of the items, leaving the customers in Limbo.
I will definitely not have any business with them again, they should be completely shut down
I ordered a swimsuit on July 14 and received it on August 7. It was stuffed into a plastic bag and was soaking wet. Not just damp, soaking wet and smelled. I will never order anything from this company again.
I purchased 4 items and I was disappointed with 3 of them. I do think that it is very good quality and if I had not had the problem that I had I would definitely purchase again from this company but I cannot take a chance and will not lose anymore money. One item that I purchase was a size small dress, a beautiful dress and well made. According to the size chart I needed to be 35 inches and under for the top and I am no problem! It fits like a straitjacket and I measure it as 28 inches! I tried communicating with the person and asking if it was possible that there was a defect. I took a half price refund and I'm stuck with a dress that will never fit anyone. I did purchase something else that was medium and it's my fault but it is so huge that I cannot wear it. I did not try to return it as it was my fault. I purchased a small bathing suit and it fits perfectly! I do love buying from China and will continue to do so but not with this company, I hate to lose money. We should be able to look at the size chart and figure the size that we need accurately.

I ordered 2 swimsuits. I then felt uneasy about the over-seas purchase and then researched this company. Once i read all the negative reviews i tried to cancel my order within 48 hours. They would NOT let me despite their stated policy. I had the hardest time getting a hold of them to further dispute and cancel my order. Unfortunatley, I had to accept the order, when it arrived, the sizing was way off the quality was fair but what do you expect for the price?!?! Again, i tried to contact them and by the time i finally reached someone they said it was too late. I eventually just donated the unworn item. I'd rate them a star higher but for a company to not honor their stated policy is bull$xxx!
I ordered swimwear from them. It came in timely fashion considereing coming from china. I had my doubts on ordering from a company overseas. I wish I would have searched further for and found all the negative reviews. The quality of the swimwear was only mediocre. The sizing is all wrong. I was able to contact them through their ticket system without too much difficulty but I have never dealt with the likes of their customer service. After reading all the reviews of all the problems customers have encounterd, I took an 80% refund of my $ and settled on a lesson hard learned. I now have 3 suits that are absolutely worthless to me. I don; t know what possessed me in the first place, I hate buying clothes online but this was the worst.
I ordered a suit. Waited 21/2 weeks contacted them and said on site was shipped. Waited another 3 days contacted them they said it was not shipped. I needed that suit for vacation. To late now. Never order through them again. Said they were refunding me well see if they dont I will turn them in to the bbb
I have ordered clothing from many websites in the last 15 years and I have never had an experience quite like this. I feel like a fool, because I usually do my HW and research a website a bit before I order from it. I ordered 5 items from this website and all 5 were disappointing, though 3 are wearable, but trying to return the other 2 items through this company has been impossible. In trying to return those 2 very unwanted junk items I tried to go through the ticket system that they have online and this proved impossible as it did not recognize my order number! I now am going through Paypal to try to get that done after writing modlily 2 lengthy emails with pictures attached, but to no avail. If you want to risk ordering cheaper clothes with the possibility that they might look bad or not fit and not be able to return any item for a refund than this crap company is for you! Otherwise - stay away and don't let the seductive pictures fool you - the clothes look very different in person. Go to an honest website like Venus. I hope Paypal eventually severs ties with this poor excuse for a business.

Answer: You probably received same aweful material that I did but different color and design! My top was advertised as 95% cotton. Modlily LIED. I received a unbelievably ugly top in polyester. I wouldnt give it away to my worst enemy. I ordered through Paypal who has a new division solely dedicated to Modlily returns and complaints! Paypal will get my money back and I will be posting all over the interner to warn people of these chinese thieves!
