So, I put in a dispute with Paypal. I had proof that Modlily received the shirt back and had taken photos of the shirt and package before sending it back. I received an email from Modlily telling me that I needed to cancel my dispute with Paypal before they could issue a refund. Of course, I didn't believe them, told them so, and told them to just issue the refund, which they did yesterday. Hope this helps someone else!
I ordered a shirt, received it after a month. It was too small and the buttonholes were all frayed. I had to spend a week asking for a return label link that worked. Finally received it and sent the shirt immediately back. A week letter they, I received an email with update to my ticket. They said that the shirt I sent back was a different one, it was the wrong size, was stained, and been worn. I should have expected this after researching Modlily after I had ordered and learning that they are not a good company to deal with. I sent the shirt back in the same condition that I had received it and now have to dispute this with Paypal. Do not buy from these people!
I returned a jumpsuit n it was received. That was almost a month ago. Have not received a refund! Also requested a return label for another item and have not received it either!

Ordered 4 dresses for a weekend event, which occurred last weekend! It's been 14 days since my order, and still nothing... I've tried to follow the shipping data but it keeps saying "In transit" with NO estimated delivery date. I've written 3 times to the company and all they say is that they are an international company and I need to be patient. They keep telling me to look at the tracking information online and I keep telling them I've done that many times there is no information on delivery there! It just says "In transit". It's already past the date when I needed these dresses so I don't even care when it comes, I just want to know when to expect it! Definitely a language barrier.
They kept popping up on Facebook, and they definitely have a very nice selection of products but good luck getting your order! I paid a little extra to get it in like 5/7 business days and it's already been almost two weeks, and I only have one item and no indication that any others are on the way! (I ordered 5!) Bathing suits... so it's super disappointing that the days and weeks are going by and we are now in summertime, and no suits to be seen except one ( which I don't love!)! Never again!
I have ordered over 80 items from various chinese companies and found that most of them are very responsive with fast and economic shipping. Compared to the usual USA based clothing companies ModLily is less expensive but compared to other chinese prices they are very expensive. Ad to it the fact that ModLily's customer service and their extremely slow shipping process is one of the worst companies I have worked with. Even a "0" would be a good rating for them.
Why isn't there a " NO STAR"? Now I have to give them a 1... ticks me off.
The blouses look very pretty but with reading the same reviews here that I read on Noracora's Site I'm not even going to chance ordering from ModLily. NoraCora saved my cc info and just used it to pay for somethings I just had in my card plus a couple of other things. Green and tan ugly shoes and a bandana headband? ( my hair is 2" long! Seriously?)
I filed a fraud report with my bank. Let Nora get the headache. They delivered the clothes ($165) yesterday. I'm leaving them unopened in my laundry room until this gets settled. Then bringing them to the post office as " recused. Not at this address. Let THEM eat the postage
I was worried that the medium I ordered might be too small, but it actually turned out to be a little bigger than I expected. It still looks cute, though. It took less than a month from order to delivery. The quality is a cotton that hangs nicely on the body. My only complaint is they don't carry very many tops in small, which I think would have fit me better. My husband saw me trying it on and remarked, "Oh, that's really cute!" He's pretty honest. For some perspective on size medium in this particular style, I'm 5'4" and 120 lbs. See side-by-pics of the ad and me and judge for yourself.
I have waited over a month for my order and they keep lying and say it is going to be delivered but it hasn't. My understanding is that this company takes your money and never delivers the order according to many other reviews. Don't fall for this scam. Terrible customer service and dishonesty. I am going to have to go to my bank to get my money back.
I ordered two bathing suit tops from you guys last year with underwire and I did size up so I do recommend that. They fit great have had absolutely no problem with them whatsoever. The material is amazing and store quality and the prices are really reasonable. Thank you guys for such a great experience!
I ordered a blouse from a ad on facebook. Didn't realize they were shipping it on a slow boat from China, when I finally received it even though it said Large it was not a large. I couldn't even put it over my boobs. There was no room! Definitely made for a skinny china doll. Don't waste your time and get sucked in their facebook ads.
My husband ordered two dresses for me for Mother's Day. Didn't look or feel like the picture. Returned Friday, they received it Monday, and 10 days later still waiting for refund. I wish I could give them a "0." Bad material like out of a sweatshop. The one dress was made like a liturgical dance dress, and the other was ridiculous as well. They received my return, but make it difficult to get your money back. My ticket keeps saying processing refund, but it never changes. These people are rip-offs. They owe us $65.21, and I want our hard earned money. I believe they are scammers. Look at their responses. They're robotic, "We apologize for the inconvenience, fill out a ticket saying you're from sitejabber and we will refund you in 1-2 business days." Ridiculous considering you already filled out the ticket to get your money in the first place!
UPDATE: I RECEIVED A REFUND FOR THE $65.21. It took this review, multiple messages once they unlocked where you can leave a message, and poor reviews I left on Facebook. They basically make it difficult so that you will just walk away. It took about 11 days to get the money AFTER they received the package (in which my tracking showed they received it in 2 days), however, I hear it's a warehouse and no person is there. You have to wait until they pick it up I guess. Of course, they didn't reimburse the extra insurance we paid, or postage, but no worries. They won't get another dime from me, and if anyone asks, it will always be a bad review.
If I could give them zero stars, I would. Horrible customer service and poorly made products. They scam you when you try to return the merchandise by claiming the returned products aren't what you ordered or are stained, defective or used. I wish I had looked up these reviews before I ordered.
I have ordered two tops already from Modlily and i am completely satisfied,, they fit very well and good quality. I dont know why so much bad reviews on them... i have now ordered a 3rd top and hopefully will be as nice as the two others... i am getting a lot of compliment on them asking where i bought those... i guess they must look nice.
These people say all the right things, sound so sweet and then they LIE LIE LIE! I tried on the tops, didn't fit, put them back in the package and returned them. They said they were worn and stained! UNTRUE! What a ripoff! Do not buy especially if you have to return. I'm contacting the BBB. Incredible. Is this an Asian company?

I purchased swimsuits and the fit was weird. They say they have guaranteed returns. They DO NOT. They claim you need to submit a ticket but the website does not permit it. It says you go online to chat from 9 PM to 11:30 PM and 1:00 AM to 6:00 AM. THERE IS NO ONLINE CHAT at ANYTIME! I wish I had read the reviews.

I ordered 5 shirts and they shipped three. I submitted a "ticket" through their "process" and it says they respond within 24 hours. Three days and still no response. I'm going through my credit card to file a claim against them. Material for the shirts is also cheap and I was very disappointed with the quality. I'm afraid to wash them, They will probably fall apart!
I waited for 30 days and never got my order. I had to file a claim on my Paypal account for this transaction which was initiated through a Facebook ad.

Answer: You probably received same aweful material that I did but different color and design! My top was advertised as 95% cotton. Modlily LIED. I received a unbelievably ugly top in polyester. I wouldnt give it away to my worst enemy. I ordered through Paypal who has a new division solely dedicated to Modlily returns and complaints! Paypal will get my money back and I will be posting all over the interner to warn people of these chinese thieves!
