I found a swimsuit on modlily I really liked. The price was right and it was super cute. I thought it wise to read some customer reviews before ordering. I noticed recurrent problems with returns and sizing. Since I didn't want to struggle through having to return the item I ordered 2 sizes larger than my size on their conversion chart. When I received my suit it was so small I couldn't get the briefs on! Since it was only $15 I gave it away. Buyer beware. I don't know if getting your correct size is even possible. Based on my order the largest size they carry is maybe a US size 12. To Chinese women this probably equals a 24! Lucky them but we American girls are a bit "sturdier"! ;)
What can I say... Great experience! I always look for sites with affordable or free shipping, it makes no sense to order a "bargain" and wind up paying more for shipping costs! Modlily offers free shipping so that's a good start.

I placed an order in December, and have yet to received it. I needed it for the 20th of February, Ive emailed and called and still no respond. To everyone who has ordered and are not satisfied, please file a complaint with Better Business Bureau. This doesn't make any since. Lesson learned for me.
I always have great shopping experiences in Modlily! It never let me down. They have clothes of great price and nice quality. And there are often coupons provided, how great is that! It can help save money to buy more clothes.
I bought an item that was the incorrect size and originally requested a replacement larger size but postage from NZ to USA was too expensive so I opted to keep the item. Renee's response totally amazed me - not only did she offer a refund but she allowed me to keep the original item. Very rare to find this sort of service for on line purchases and so greatly appreciated.
It was really easy to return a bathing suit and then order a different style. Customer service is really easy to talk to and very helpful. I will definitely order from them again.

First time ordering from this company. I was referred by a friend who has been ordering for sometime now. So I decided to give it a shot. I was a bit disappointed with the actual results of the colors. The tops I received were not as vibrant in color as was shown in the advertisement. I will ware them because I do like the style and fit.

To be honest, I was skeptical about purchasing from Modlily after reading some negative reviews. However, I received my purchase and it was just as described. It arrived in a nice bag and was true to size. Sure, it didn't arrive the next day like Amazon, but Amazon doesn't carry a product like this. Yet. So I was very happy with my experience with Modlily, from beginning to end!
It costs as much to return merchandise as what the item costs. You find this out later. Everything is at least two sizes too small. If you went thru PayPal and you hope to get your money back, don't open a dispute. Insist Modlily give you your money back. Send it back and pay the crazy postage to China, then, and only then, contact PayPal for return postage. The area you have to go to is well hidden on PayPal, but if you find it, send shipping information, and hopefully you get it back.
I was not so lucky. I opened a dispute. I paid for return postage thinking PP would give it back to me, Modlily coerced me into closing the dispute, now PP says I can't "re-open" a Claim! I'll be lucky to see a refund. Don't rate Modlily at the end of their claim site either. That automatically closes the claim you have against them! They sure know how to fleece the Americans! PayPal is no better.
If you must have an Item from this company. I suggest... only pay through paypal. Only ordering 1 item at a time... (I say this because something is always going to be out of stock and they try to keep your money) Give them 7 days to ship then ask why it hasn't been shipped the same day put a claim into paypal. Then give the 1 more week after they reply with their generic response asking you to remove your complaint from paypal because it's a hot item... after 1 more week... put it in paypals hands because they pull your money from their account until resolved. Funny My Item was shipped the day I did that and it arrived yep 1 week later. Took a month... DO NOT PAY for fast shipping. Did this last year with a company I believe to be the same company... You will never get it shipped any faster... Expect to not receive anything from them for at least a month. If you haven't paid through paypal I'm not sure what anyone should do. The item I ordered is ok... but less than I expected..

The delivery period depends on the shipping method you choose. If you choose flat rate shipping, it’s quite slow and generally 2-3 weeks of delivery. Standard shipping takes 1-2 weeks, and expedited shipping is as fast as 3 days delivery.
I ordered 6 tops. Unfortunately, through my fault only, I ordered the wrong size. I love all 6 of the tops. The variety of color and style is not found anywhere. I definitely will order again from ModLily. As far as customer service, I couldn't have asked for any better. To exchange all 6 tops, without any hassle, just blows my mind. A mailing label was sent to me within 24 hours and I immediately put it in the mail. The transition, from having the tops to returning the tops, was impeccable. I can't wait for my exchange tops to come. Kudos to the whole process and kudos for having such a wide variety, in style and color, of tops. Keep up the good work.
I ordered Holiday tops. They were cheap looking, material was horrible 1970's polyester I order 4 shirts all mediums. One was so tight I could not get it on, one was huge and the other two just fit really weird. NEVER AGAIN. Came from China
I tried to place an order on this site, and was all prepared to pay, but found it very confusing and ended up by duplicating the order.
When I tried to cancel one or the other of the orders, I got the runaround by way of messages telling me "yes, fine, you can do this from your account" [or words to that effect]. Well, no. I couldn't. After a lot of toing and froing, I now find that I'm denied access to all parts of the site.
Luckily I also had difficulty in accessing Paypal & so I haven't actually paid any money, & that's not going to change.
I won't be dealing with this company again. Customer service is non-existent & trying to alter or cancel an order is nigh on impossible.
Ordered a dress, using their size chart, XL which should be a UK 14-16, it won't fit my size 10 daughter. At the same time I ordered a hoody,, it's coming apart at the seams, badly made. I refuse to pay expensive postage to China, and get a partial refund, when items are not as described. They have offered me $12, as I had to pay in dollars, the order cost me $50. I've put it into dispute with PayPal. Watch this space!
Update... PayPal gave me a full refund
I ordered 2 items, paid for expedited shipping, which says 1-3 days, when I contacted them to see why my order hadn't come, got the run-around about "it's a hot sale item so it will take several more days to process", etc. I immediately contacted my credit card company, who filed a dispute based on them breaking their promise of expedited shipping. I got my money credited back within just a few days. Sorry I hadn't read these reviews first, but relieved that I didn't have to fight with them.
I have purchased 9 tops from this merchant. All are quality tailored, beautiful designs, and easy-care fabrics. The shipping was less than 2 weeks. The tops are long, so you may want to order one size smaller, but they are flowy and slimming as well.

Answer: You probably received same aweful material that I did but different color and design! My top was advertised as 95% cotton. Modlily LIED. I received a unbelievably ugly top in polyester. I wouldnt give it away to my worst enemy. I ordered through Paypal who has a new division solely dedicated to Modlily returns and complaints! Paypal will get my money back and I will be posting all over the interner to warn people of these chinese thieves!
