Buyer beware. When I gave a rating of 3 stars and explained it was due to swimsuit fabric being so thin that it wouldn't really hold "girls" in if doing any kind of activity, I got a message "you must purchase this item before writing a review." It was then taken off my list for "items to review". Review never showed up.
Ultimately I'd just say buyer beware. Review on site are filtered to make product look awesome, shipping takes MANY weeks, and fabrics are at least as cheap as could be expected for the prices.
I liked the swimsuit I had ordered but the size was too big. I sent in a ticket to return it but they told me that I should just keep it as shipping returns (paid buy the customer) are very expensive. They suggested I keep the swimsuit and then buy another at a discounted price. I could probably wear this one if I had too so I will just have to suck it up and keep it but I don't plan on purchasing anything else from them. It was my fault I did not check into returns more closely. When I searched a return on a swimsuit which I could mail back in a USPS envelope it is almost 7.00 Not sure if its worth it. Will have to think on this a little more.
So just use caution when purchasing. Thought the swimsuit was nice and a good price comparing it to what I have seen out there, but if it doesn't fit you might get stuck with it!
I ordered 2 swimsuits, and a dress in June 2016. I paid extra for the express shipping and received my order within 5 days. I read numerous other reviews saying the sizing and quality of the items were both horrible. I didn't have any problems with the sizing or quality of the items I ordered. The bathing suits were a large in plus size and both fit my daughter fine. The dress I ordered for myself is thin, but looked just like it did on the website. I didn't expect to even get my order after reading all the negative reviews! I took a chance and ordered from this company, and had a positive experience. I hope you do as well!
I was impressed with picture of top and goofed off and ordered one. My big mistake. Too large not like usual small size and slick material. Would be embarrassed to give it away. It is white sweatshirt style with blue designs what a mess.
Just finished with their customer service and their "satisfaction guarantee" means that if you don't like the product because it is of very poor quality and the sizing is wrong (as was the case for me), all they will do is give you a credit of 40% toward a future purchase. No refunds ever. If you want to return the items, they tell you that it will wipe out the small credit. Since I will never purchase from them again, they have found a way to make money for nothing.
Had an awesome experience with these people. Thought I should write a review as people tend to just come here when they have complaints. I expected the order to take some time to get to me but it wasn't too long at all. The prices are excellent for the product you get (not super high quality materials but well put together, no weird stitching and they last). Communication was great - the messaged me to make sure I received my order. Will definitely be buying again!
I ordered two dresses from them after my d-i-l looked up reviews. We didn't realize they pay people to write good reviews. First I paid for shipping so it would come quickly - it took over a month. Second, the colors weren't as pictured (the rose was really orange) and third, the dresses were Asian sizing and didn't fit. Every customer service conversation was "be patient" with a tracking number that didn't go past things delivered to an airport in Shanghai. It was when I threatened action that things miraculously arrived. I chalked this one up as lesson and said, "Never again."
I love Modlily because of the how they take care of my orders till it become in my hands. I've not bought a bunch from Modily but what I've purchased has been top quality for a reasonable price. I'll definitely continue using this site.
The clothes I ordered were of very poor quality fabrics and flimsy construction and wouldn't be wearable after washing. I tried to return the items only to be given an address in the UK, but the website says returns go to the USA and when questioned I didn't get a satisfactory answer to resolve the situation. I'm a frequent website shopper and have never had any issues with returning items until now. Their reviews show a good rating but these are easily faked and now I feel stupid but not too proud to warn others to stay away form this company! The only reason they got one star is because I couldn't leave it at zero.

This company is in China! Very poor quality. Dress I ordered was beautiful on the site... however it took 7 weeks to be delivered with not even one email explaining the delay. When it did arrive, the fabric was a cheap gauze-like material, totally different color. When I took it out of the bag to try it on, I noticed there were 5 or 6 stains on the front of the dress like food had been spilled on it... disgusting! When I looked into returning it, the process is so ridiculous! I needed to take pictures of the stains. Explain each one... send it back to them, paying shipping costs that I had already paid when I ordered. Then they said they would "review" my complaint and let me know what they decided. Ladies, there are enough good reputable companies in the US to find quality clothing! PLEASE... don't get skammed by this one!
LOVE! This dress surpassed all my expectations. It's super comfy and looks great! Can be dressed up or down. I had so many compliments when wearing it, I decided to buy another in a different color. :) I purchased both the pinkish purple and black. I'm 5'2" and 115lbs and a size small fit perfectly. I just received my second purchase from Modlily and again I'm really impressed. I had a coupon to use and I was able to buy a dress plus several shirts and a pair of pants. It was a great value. I'd never be able to find such cute stuff for such an affordable price in a normal retail store. Love it very much!
Like everyone else has said, this is a total scam. Unfortunately I did not read reviews before I ordered via PayPal a cute dress. My money was withdrawn immediately by them and 2 months later, never has showed up. I tried all the possible ways to get a hold of them or resolve this to no avail. Luckily I just lost $25, but think of the thousands of dollars they are scamming out of people every day.
And yet another awful online clothing company ending in "lily". You will wait forever for your item to arrive from China. The sizes are at least 2 sizes smaller than listed. I'm a medium and ordered a large, it wouldn't fit a child across the chest. I tried to return, but after trying to deal with these scam operators, I gave up and gave the top to Goodwill, although they probably won't be able to sell it to anyone of normal suze. The FTC needs to investigate these companies. In the meantime... Delete their emails and pop ups showing cute clothes, they are a fraud.

So I ordered a Jean jacket back in late October, hoping to wear it this fall... after waiting over a month to receive it (it shipped from China and now it's winter... too late for Jean jackets!) I finally get the jacket. And guess what... It reeks of moth balls (napthalate for you chemists or biochemists out there. A smelly and toxic substance!). I'm just not even sure how this company survives on their failed business model: great advertising, long waits, and sub standard clothing from the far reaches of the world. NO THANKS!

Ordered and delivered in a very timely matter. Was skepticle about the bathing suits...i have had a double mastectomy with no reconstruction. Swim top will fit perfect once i remove the pads. Swim bottoms are comfy also!:
I ordered some items 2 month ago and still have not received them. Ithe seems everyone has the same tracking number. I think we should file a class action lawsuit against this company and inform the Better Business Bureau. If enough people complain, maybe we can put them out of business in the U.S. No one should have to go through so much, especially when they have received our money!
WARNING! I made a mistake and ordered 2 dresses and a jacket from Modlily (I found them advertising on Facebook). I placed the order a month ago. They charged my credit card and that's the last I've heard from them. I never received any of the items. I've tried to contact customer service, but they do not respond. Before you make a mistake like I did know that Modlily is part of a group of on-line scammers based in China. I've reported their page to Facebook as a scam, but I have not gotten any response from Facebook. It's a shame that Facebook still allows them to advertise.

Answer: You probably received same aweful material that I did but different color and design! My top was advertised as 95% cotton. Modlily LIED. I received a unbelievably ugly top in polyester. I wouldnt give it away to my worst enemy. I ordered through Paypal who has a new division solely dedicated to Modlily returns and complaints! Paypal will get my money back and I will be posting all over the interner to warn people of these chinese thieves!
