I stumbled across MMOGA whilst searching for Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox 360 version) online. We had bought what turned out to be a damaged copy from CEX and I had a very unhappy lad.
I am not at all 'techy' and was dubious to say the least. However, seeing that using PayPal was an option I, like others, decided that I had nothing to lose except a bit of time sorting the the refund if all went wrong.
Payment went through OK, but I received what seems to be the standard email warning of fraud and chargebacks - and asking for telephone verification. Again, although not a 'techy' I am also not a complete fool. I had already paid out £18.65 from my PayPal, so I entered my landline number into the system.
The phone rang within about 1 minute - I answered to an automated message asking me to press a couple of keys, which I did, then another email arrived almost instantly with the Xbox game code as an attachment.
We entered the code into the boy's Xbox and the download began.
I am very happy to say that the game loaded up and plays very well. 100% no problems.
I don't really understand a lot of the negative reviews, but neither do I understand why MMOGA have asked some people for such detailed and in depth personal info.
I guess my advice would be to be cautious, use PayPal wherever possible and, when they ask for a phone number, enter a landline number rather than a mobile/cell phone.
It worked for me and I am very happy with the outcome.
THE ARE SOME GERMAN BASTAR**S THAT THINK WE LIVE IN HITLER TIME... THE WANT THE ID. THAN THE PIC ID NEXT TO YOUR FACE TO SEND THEM... ITS A BIG SCAM THEY DONT RESPOND AND DONT REFUND TOTALLY SCAM BIG BIG BIG SCAM
I bought my coins put my player in and team name as soon as I ordered it they changed the name and team name I emailed them 3hrs ago and still not got back to me or got my coins
I attempted to purchase a code for a game. I had purchase from them once before with no issues, but the second time they tried to cheat me. They charged me, but then demanded I prove my identity by insisting I email them a picture of my photo ID before they sent the code. I was not informed of that requirement before I was charged, and I naturally refused. I was not going give the ability to steal my identity to a bunch of people I don't know. I asked for a refund and MMOGA refused to give me one, in spite of the fact I did not receive the service I paid for. So I called my bank, and after THEY talked on the phone with MMOGA customer support, they refunded me. MMOGA then threw a fit about the charge back and insisted through repeated emails (attached) that I transfer them $20 for the inconvenience of charging back after they realized they couldn't charge the card I gave them. Thankfully, being wary of just such a thing happening, I used a temp card that could only be charged once. After multiple emails, I just blocked the email and moved on. Sometimes you get lucky and get stuff cheap, but it's not worth it to buy from such a fraudulent company.
I bough a game code and they didnt only take 2 hours to send me thecode but its also an invalid one. Dont use this site!
Bought some FUT Coins. Paid dec. 12. Via credit card in their webshop. They promise a delivery time of maximum 6 hours. Now 11 days later NOTHING has happened. Under 'My Orders' in my Mmoga profile it still says payment check. How come you can't confirm payment from a credit card on your own freakin webshop. Why do you send me an email confirming my purchase, and a email confirming the money transfer, and then you homepage still says 'payment check'. I checked my bank account, and the money has been transferred on the day you sent an email confirming that. I contacted your customer support more than 4 times. Every time I get logged of just before its my turn in line. I wrote 3 emails and I haven't got any response. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO GET INVOLVED WITH THIS WEBSITE. THIS IS CALLED STEALING!
I Preordered a game from MMOGA in late March 2020 and in mid September 2020, I was informed MMOGA was not going to be getting the version of the game I preordered in stock. Now MMOGA will not refund my money for the purchase instead only offering a merchandise credit as the preorder was placed more than 180 days ago. I would recommend not doing business with MMOGA as they do not stand by their preorders and will refuse to work with customers to refund purchases for game versions that are no longer being stocked by the MMOGA
I bought FIFA coins and it took three days to arrive later I discovered I could not access the account asas the email that thay gave me was for a Korean website thing and I don't know how to speak Korean so very complicated and I could not confirm that it was my email address. I asked for a refund but it has been 5 days and they have not given it to me yet.
I will never ever buy any key from this site. Because first they didnt want my money - I canceld -.then I get a payment fee from them. WTF!
Scammed me and are not responding to the refund, aditionaly they are saying that you only need to send a email to get a refund but they just ignore those emails.
Asked for passport and did not deliver. $30 for Star Trek online gone. Unfortunately I still have to watch them spam chat all day long.
Took my money and told me to verify something via email. No email was sent. Stay away from this garbage of a site.
On this website they are selling keys for games that when you redeem these are invalid, I have lost all my money be careful with this site.
Download didn't work, they refuse to refund. If I want my money back, I'll have to go through court.
I read the reviews and was hesitant to follow through but the price for the game was just amazing so I decided to give it a go and see. Here is what happened to me;
I recently purchased 'The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition'. After completing my payment (PayPal) I got an e-mail about ID verification. I tried the phone first up but it said that it was unavailable so then went on to needing photo ID (drivers license because I didn't have a passport), filling out a form (order number, paypal email and a couple of other things I can't remember off the top of my head) and a photo of me and my photo ID. I sent those things about 20 minutes after my order was completed and sent support an email wondering how long it was going to be (around 2-3 hours after the order was complete). I got an email back saying that the item I ordered was out of stock (mind you when I ordered it the site said it was available) and that they don't have an ETA on when they expect to have it back in but will try to get it in ASAP. After receiving that email I sent support saying that I want a refund or at least an ETA on when it is due in and if that don't follow though I will be filling a complaint through PayPal. I got an email back asking to be patient and the item is due back in the next couple of hours, around an hour (give or take 15 minutes) after I got that email I got another with the steam code to activate it.
Hope this helps someone. :)
Hello. I have recently ordered 2 £30 PSN giftcards and I received the usual email that demands that I give them photos of my ID/passport and a selfie of me holding it. Of course, I refused. I had already paid for the products via PayPal, they have no right to ask for my ID after they have already taken my money. Instead, I immeidately sent them an email telling them that I refuse and that I demand my products immediately or a redund. I also opened a PayPal dispute and I went to MMOGAs site where I contacted their support and notified them about the dispute, once again demanding my products or a refund. One hour later, I received an email with the two codes I had purchased, and they worked, thankfully. I closed my PayPal dispute after that. I will not buy from this site again, unfortunately. Too much hassle for some gift cards. I was lucky to be able to resolve the issue in about 2 hours after the purchase without having to give them any of my personal information and without having to pay a refund fee as some others had to do. Definitely not the 5-10 minutes delivery I was promised, however. Please stay away and go to some better sites. Dont let them scam you and do not give them any private information. If they refuse to help you, be firm and use PayPal as leverage against them. This is unacceptable.
At first i was a little bit worried about it all. But i got the order and im very happy. I will for sure come back in the future.
Best Regards
Unfortunately I am the victim of what I consider "Fraud" by MMOGA. I can verify all the previous negative reviews and the content of which has happened to me.
Answer: If you're on a tight budget I would look at buying Windows 7 from eBay for currently around £35. More probability of being legit, and if it didn't work eBay and PayPal would make sure you get your money back. I wouldn't advise anyone buy anything from MMOGA.
Answer: Complete scam do not trust. I lost $30 to these scam artists when I contacted customer support I was accused of scamming them? Save your money and go elsewhere
