I bought a game from them, and after the payment they requested "verification", means photos from my passport and ebay/paypal data, picture of bank account. Turned out, not a Swiss company as stated on ebay, but they are located in China. At the moment I opened a case to get back my money but I can see about 70 similar negative feedbacks on ebay. This fraud is a shame to allow.
I don't know how are they even function legally. I paid for game key, my bank account got charged and they e-mailed me that they didn't recieve payment and need my ID photo to proceed. Don't buy anything from that scammers and I have no idea why they get recommended on so many sites. I guess being human scum is worth of 5 euros
MMOGA just scammed me a few minutes ago when I was trying to buy a Windows 11 Pro Key. Some nonsense about the order not going through and that they had sent me an Email. No email but money was taken from my Paypal. Resolution center got me my money back, but I wanted to share this experience to save others from the hassle! Stay away from that scam site!
They take the money then they say they want a $#*!y verification my passport or ID with me holding it, u should have said that before i paid not after that, i sent the reclaim and now still waiting for it to cancelled, definitely not as fast as deducting the money.
I purchased a product from them, as a digital product, and download it, tried it and it was a horrible experience, the game will not even reach 5 fps, while my computer fully surpass the game's requirments. I tried to refund my game from them, according to their own policy which is written on their webpage and stated, that anyone can return any product within 14 days no questions asked. However, they didn´t stand for their own policy and word, what a shame!
Seller has my money but I got no code. They don't answer me anymore, so they scammed me and took 55€ for nothing. Avoid them at all costs!
Edit: The company now wants twice the money and sent me one code. They say I owe them another amount of 50eur PLUS fees of 15eur.
There are other sites like G2A where I did not have any problem. So go to those sites and avoid the MMOGA Scammers!
Bought Sonic Frontiers Steam keys at them and received it on the game's release date. I paid with pre-paid card because it is the safest way to buy at MMOGA. The only bad thing is that if you pay with paysafecard, you will have to pay 7% fee. But only important thing is that MMOGA is legit. Greetings, MMOGA, you're the best!
Don't send your personal info to random seller, they are not important. They cant force you to send your passport or photo or any other personal info.
Their live chat is dead. Opened like 3 hours ago with "34 persons queue" and now the queue is 29.3 hours for a 5 persons progress.
Remember not send personal info to some company from "germany" that in reality is from China. A lot of shady business.
They refuse to deliver the order or refund unless you supply pictures of your passport and driving license (which they do not tell you before you have paid). No legitimate seller would ask you for this so defiantly a scam you have no idea what they are doing with this information.
They gave me an used code and the support didnt do anything except asking me for random things then ended up blocking my email so i cant ask or talk to them anymore, all of this in just 3 days
I tried to purchase a game from these. They took the money, but then refused to send me the game key, stating that I needed to provide them with photo ID, or a photo of my passport, which is ridiculous, especially since there's absolutely no warning beforehand.
Tried sending an email, and also waiting through their online-support, but neither was any help.
Definitely avoid.
Sadly, I didn't read the newest reviews here. MMOGA used to have a pretty good reputation, but lately it seems like they're asking for private information from more and more users. Demanding a photo of your personal ID among other things after you've paid them.
A very dubious practice. I have now contacted support to cancel my order. I hope it goes over quickly and I get my money back without having to get paypal involved in the whole thing.
I bought the game from another key-seller instead and am now downloading the game. Btw: I didn't even have to send a photo of myself this time.
After buying 2 x Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 for digital download, they accepted the skrill payment of 13 euro, and then sent me an email to verify by sending a filled PDF form with my skrill.com name, address, details. So I did, then they asked me to send my passport photo holding it beside my face. I refused to compromise all that information for just a game, and until now they didn't refund the money.
Dont buy of this website!, sent them a form of ID that doesn't have a lot of personal info on it as i have problems trusting random strangers through the internet, but they refused to accept that id even though they accepted it for all my other orders. They want you to show proof of id via a drivers license or passport which seems absurd just for a video game and seems they wanna do something more sinister. Fortunately i charged it to my phone and got the charges off my phone bill, i will forever never go through this website again. Instead just go through platforms like g2a which i have done now for the same order, quick, reliable and they stand by never having to provide any sort of id!
Third time now i have been asked to prove who I am with ID. I was told once it's done once you will never have to send prof to them again. Very annoying never had this problem on any other gaming websites. Wont be using in the future and this review wont be taken down. Be warned when using phone payments other wise the site is great with any other payment service you use. {They are refusing to pay me now even after showing them my ID of me holding it next to my face}
Ordered WoW gold with an advertised 1-24 hours delivery. Three days later and 6 customer service sessions got them to refund my order. They will tell you "im sorry" every day and tell you their suppliers dont have stock... Do yourself a favor and skip the headache. The refund process through paypal is miserable, their customer service is miserable. Can't speak to their cd keys but their in game currency system is a farce.
Their support kept just saying they don't see any problem on their side when I was trying to get help from the them and followed their guidance...
Waste of time and money!
This is the first time I've ever bought from a key seller, and I have to say I'm impressed. The key arrived within seconds of purchase, and it was being offered much cheaper than all the other sites I could find it on - excellent service, will be recommending this site to others.
Shady seller traying to advertise suppose to be "game keys" by varius non-standartchannels.
Unfortunetey in most cases they fail to deliver and it happens they send used keys.
In such a simple marchandise scenario we can simple up this whole affair -by saying this is just a scum and unreliable seller.
Total scam
My son asked me to buy this key to download a game he only had £12 and this was £11.37 couldn't find it cheaper after paying they then said they can't process unless I sent 1. A picture of my passport and 2. A picture of me next to my passport which I absolutely stupidly did then instantly regretted it.
Anyways a hour or so later I get the key eager to use it went straight to download but the keys already been used then they ask me for evidence that it's been used my licences error messages etc sent that over for them to say we've sent this off to the relative department to look into it! So I opened a atonal dispute and 8 hours later posted the exact same message that they sent my info off to the relative department to investigate! I called PayPal on the end what a bloody mess and they refunded me. But they still have my into who knows how they'll use it please don't buy from them look at all their bad reviews and some fake ones!
Answer: If you're on a tight budget I would look at buying Windows 7 from eBay for currently around £35. More probability of being legit, and if it didn't work eBay and PayPal would make sure you get your money back. I wouldn't advise anyone buy anything from MMOGA.
Answer: Complete scam do not trust. I lost $30 to these scam artists when I contacted customer support I was accused of scamming them? Save your money and go elsewhere
