The products are at good and affordable rate. The service provided by them is nice and quick. Its best for by computer related products.
The service works great and treats the clients in a positive way. Good in terms of pricing and delivery times
Jim Rhodes went way beyond the call of duty. Thank you Jim. You really took the pain out of repairing a new printer
I went to MicroCenter to buy a laptop - after my 1-yr old laptop, from a maker I will not name, simply, died on me without any known damage or warnings.
First, I researched the laptops in stock, via MicroCenter's website; and finding what I wanted was listed, as being in-stock.
I met and engaged with a sales associate, sharing what I found online and requested for verification. I, specifically, asked to be verified that the laptop had a "specific feature." The associate retrieved the model from stock and assured me it met my specifications. (Unfortunately, you're not able to open the package to, actually, view the product to check it matches your specs.)
However, after getting home and opening the package, I discovered it lacked the very spec I indicated as a must have. (I commuted a total of 70 miles for this).
I contacted Customer Service - who was very understanding of my issue - and the Rep began to initiate a solution. The Rep put me on hold and contacted the Store and spoke with a Manager. I was told to return to the store, as I needed the laptop for immediate use. I began the 70 mile roundtrip journey, again.
Once at the store, the Manager - after apologizing for the error and it having to cause me such another long road trip - to resolve the problem, actually, provided me a laptop which was an upgrade and offered other financial reparations for the trouble caused.
I, only, accepted the upgrade - making him aware I wasn't attempting to scam the store and declined the other financial offer.
Overall, I reminded myself that for future computer and electronic purchases, MicroCenter will be the FIRST resource I use. On past visits, the staff, always, greet you upon entering the store, asking how they may assist you. All my past experiences have been met by efficient staff and services, along with a very clean store.
Hello, all sites are scam. People get paid to give positive feedback, as I do, but I didn't give positive feedback. I don't want them to cheat people
Computer sales manager isn; t wearing a mask. There is no indication in healthcare that makes this OK
Old school in the fact they have most everything, but still high tech and cutting edge on product selection. Love this place.
I am not a "computer" person. I just want my computer to work. If it doesn't work tell me how much it costs to fix it and lets get it done! I have been purchasing devices at Microcenter Duluth for many years for both my business and family. I always went back because of the service and knowledgeable staff. This time I was really disappointed. First I needed to get more storage added to my computer, they said it would take 24 to 48 hours and he would start working on it after his days off, which started tomorrow. After a week I went in to check on my computer and nothing had been done, the manager said we honeslty dropped the ball and we will give you 50% off on everything and have this back to you tomorrow if that is ok. I agreed. Two days later iy was ready, I went to pick up my computer and they notified me of another issue which I agreed to get fixed and agreed to the estimated cost. I stopped in to check a couple of times, some young man would say the person working on this is off today but he can get back to you when he is in again... move forward to today... many many many days later, is my computer done, let me check, yes it is. He gives me the price and it is a couple of hundred more than expected... I asked why and he said he didn't work on the computer and guess what - the person that did isn't here. The half-off on everything didn't occur but on one line item of the three that it should have been applied to. I paid and figured I will work it out later... I really need my computer back. I will say in the end the problem was fixed correctly it took four times longer than quoted and cost about 40% more than expected and I am fully trained to work at the service desk now. Whatever anyone says just say the person that worked on it isn't here and I didn't work on it so I don't know and move onto the next customer.
You can't use their Insider Credit Card to purchase any thing Online? Why wouldn't you be able to use their own credit card to make online purchases?
Micro Center has good prices and services and was helpful while building my PC and buying all of the parts.
The most unprofessional people i have ever dealt with. Will happily pay more money elsewhere. Jacob J. From Westmont, IL belongs at mcdonalds.

Cheap appliances with good hardware
What i like:
Their processors, Graphics cards (pretty much all hardware)
Their cheap prices
Terrible customer service and there is no way you can ever call anyone - you hold forever and then they just hang up the hone on you! GO ELSEWHERE
Great prices and knowledgeable staff. In store is great place to buy.
I have purchased three computers from the Houston Microcenter over the years; two desktop computers and a laptop. And in late November, my daughter was home for school break, and a lightning strike took out the computer power supply. I was also thinking of getting a new laptop for my daughter, so we looked up the Microcenter website. We saw a number of interesting products, and decided to go to the store here in Houston.
When we got there, we saw the expected crowd of cars in the parking lot and a lot of people. As we walked to the front of the store to get into line, we noticed a number of people were confused by something.
A woman was passing out some kind of flyer, which I thought was an ad for product, but it turns out it was instruction for everyone to get into the store. First, you had to download the app for the store onto your phone - no other way to get in. Then you had to use that app to scan the code on the flyer and enter your information, and finally you were told to go wait in your car until you were told there was a place for you in the store.
This was nowhere on the website for Microcenter. That explains the confusion by most customers. The woman was rather rude, and displayed a go-to-hell attitude which I had not seen at Microcenter before. That put a damper on my interest in Microcenter.
We waited in my car. Short version, we never got a text saying we could go in. More than a month later, we are still waiting on notice. Considering the rude and inflexible behavior of the woman at the door, I found this greatly offensive.
I bought the computer for my home at another store, one which notably welcomes customers. I suspect I am far from the only such customer who took his business somewhere else.
I used to like and trust Microcenter. No longer.
This is not to attack other locations, but customer service is vitally important, and a simple notice on the website, and options for people who wanted to reserve a place ahead of time, would have greatly improved my opinion. Instead, I received the strong impression that the Houston Microcenter has enjoyed success for so long, that they no longer feel obliged to respect their customers. That is always a mistake for a business, so perhaps Microcenter may yet address the matter. But for this encounter I have to assign a failing grade.
I Liked your service, support is pretty good
Nicely done!
