Don't honor warranties
January 12, 2023

I submitted a warranty claim.for a purse that is falling apart. I've sent photos, receipt and their claim form 4 times each time they respond asking me to send those items. This is a joke. Worst customer service ever. Buyer beware. They donot honor their so caked warranty

Terrible all round

Bought a Kors tracker which didn't track the steps properly. Umpteen emails, telephone calls and months later I am still waiting for the refund. I will never buy anything from there again. They have the tracker and my £89. Absolutely useless item and dreadful, non existent customer service.

Exhausting process to extract refund for faulty MK handbag. Purchased lees than 6 months ago, stitching on both handles came undone, unable to use bag. Contacted MK customer services over 5 weeks ago, now 18 emails later, with poorly written replies which clearly haven't been read, they repeatedly asked for information which had been supplied, they have agreed to refund, but I now need to package bag myself & am still waiting for the 'please wait for the reply label & information we require to go with packaging'.
A complete shambles. Massive inconvenience for me, no bag to use, time taken over complaint which is still not resolved, wait again for refund.
Customer services? They even said sorry for wait 'we have to deal with a high number of enquiries so our replies are not as swift as we wished'- clearly a lot of people have too many problems with MK.
Would never purchase again from MK.
Rude, lengthy time for resolution. No compensation for poor quality bag.
Would never recommend

I bought a tote from there website for 96 dollar on sale, macy is selling the same for 73.50. When I called them up they were arrogant and said may be macy is selling defected stuff. They refused to price match also did not cancel my Oder although they had not even shipped it yet. Never buying from them again. Did not expect this from a big brand Kiel michel kors.

Horrible handbag

I purchased a factory malfunctioned handbag and didn't receive any satisfaction from customer service, not even an offer of repairing the damaged item. Also horrible customer service. Now I'm stuck with a bag I can't use and will probably pitch it. A waste of my hard earned money. The bag is practically new because I never really got to carry it often. Here's my proof.

Lack of service
January 11, 2022

Just placed an order on line for a gift for my sister. When I put in the shipping address didn't notice they still had my old lot number. So when I got the email saw the mistake I called them immediately. Not even 15 minutes. They get all my info then come back there is nothing they can do. I need to contact the shipper myself. I'm thinking really. You spend over 500 dollars for a purchase they get your money and you are on your own. Then I called back to cancel the order. Their response again is nothing we can do. They can forward my issues with some other department and that's it. Vary sad. Now I work on a ship they say call back tomorrow. I said I don't always have phone service. She someone will call you. I told them if I can't call then nobody can call me. So far vary sad customer service. We will see what happens.

Poor quality

I purchased a pair of sneakers six months ago that contain gold Astor pieces on them. I was only able to use the item a maximum of three times (as I did not use the sneakers during the cold months) before I realized that one of the astor pieces had fallen off, for some unknown reason. This is ridiculous and poor quality. Their company policy is terrible when it comes to warranty. They wont repair the shoe because it has been more than three months, which is also ridiculous. I was a loyal customer of Michael Kors but will no longer be purchasing their products. I dont see how such a well known company can produce a product of such poor quality, and then not even attempt to correct the issue. Instead, they direct me to their repair center to be quoted $50 just for a small replacement piece. What a shame. They will not be receiving my money anymore.

I ordered a watch link for mk 5726 via a local authorized retailer some 3 weeks ago. My receipt indicates that its available for pick pick up by December 4, and guess what? Looks like i will still have to wait for another week. Hopefully so. What a shame..

Recently I brought a handbag from a Michael Kors store whilst in Edinburgh. When I walked in the staff where very polite, welcoming and helpful, with out being too over the top which I find uncomfortable.

The bag its self is beautiful and of beautiful quality as expected.

Obviously Michael Kors is not cheap, but the quality and brand is what you pay for.
Well worth the money if designer bags are your thing.

I recently sent handbag back to you for repair on the handle (the stitching had come undone). I received news that the handbag could not be repaired or replaced. I was advised that I would have to chose from a small list of handbags that were not to my liking. I will not except this. Especially since you can still purchase this bag online at your store. I want to know what I can do to either receive a credit so that I can repurchase the original bag or credit back my card. They refuse to send my original handbag back and I am now out $400. I cant believe that this is the way a company such as yours would treat their customers. I have many of your items but I will never purchase another item from you until this is made right. Garbage warranty

Bought a purse a very expensive purse which is well within the warranty period. We have been given the run around after supplying every bit of evidence asked from us. Complete warranty fraud. The reason for the request was the straps/handles began to frey only a couple months of light use. Not expected from a nearly $1000. 00 hand bag.

Worst customer service

I bought a purse for my wife that she wanted to exchange. The staff treated us like criminals when we tried to return and found every reason not to let us exchange. I have never ever experienced such lack of respect by a merchant.

I purchased the black pack back purse and within a week of me having it the top back of the laether started peeling. When I contacted customer service they did offer to replace the bag but I was not waiting another month to get a new bag so I asked for a refund and they best they could do was tell me they can give me 30% refund, wow. On a 138$ order. I'd say my loss and I will never purchase another bag from Michael Kors

I sent my refund back on 5-23-17 Michael Kors said they receive my return on 6-2-17 today is the June 12 2017 no refund... This has been the most hobble experience I every had to deal with when returning an item I will never purchase any thing else from Micheal Kors. You call customer services and get the run around there other nicer high price bags you can purchase with better return and customer policy

Warranty

I will never buy anything from them! My son is 11 months today. My $300 diaper bag is falling apart! I called and because it was purchased before " one year" no warranty! Are you KIDDING me! This is a DAMN diaper bag! I use it Everyday. Make it better use! Or have a better warranty! THAN when you call they act as if everyone has MICHEAL money to purchase another one!

I never post a review but their website crashes when I tried to order another one. It ended up charging me for 2 bags. I called the customer service line and he ensured me that there was only one bag. However, i am still currently being charged for both. Returning it through mail could take up to a month. I tried contacting customer service 3 times on the phone. Neither one of them were helpful. I got responses such as It wasnt my fault, I wasnt the one that told you that or answers such as you should have checked the order history, it would have said there were 2. There customer service is terrible. They lie to you, the online chat takes about 25 minutes to connect and no one is helpful.

I have never experienced such poor customer service. Took a month, 1.5 hrs on the phone and 11 emails to simply send a NEW purse in for repairs. They lied and made my jump through hoop after hoop for this simple request! I LOVE MK purses and have about 10. They have permanently lost me as a customer.

I have a purse that I paid a lot of money for. I have only used it a week and the purse is deteriorating already. The spots on the purse will not come off because the paint of the purse is defective. I contacted them multiple times to finally receive a message back saying they will not do an exchange or reimbursement for the purse. I will never buy anything Michael Kors again!

I reached out to MK customer service regarding a wallet that I received as a gift not even 2 years ago and is already falling apart. I have been a loyal Michael Kors customer for years, and even if they could not assist me with my product issue directly due to it being outside of the warranty period, I assumed they would provide me with a credit of some sort or at the least a general acknowledgement of the issue, considering the luxury price point of their products. However, all I received from customer service was a link to their "partner facility", which would require an additional out of pocket cost on my part and repeated prompts that the product was no longer under warranty.
