I bought boots. The boots did not look like what I expected. The heel was made of plastic (for a 300.00 boot), the leather was of poor quality. Uncomfortable and overall unsatisfactory experience. Can only get a credit from an establishment that already showed what scam they are.

The customer service is excellent, delivery was lightning fast, returns were a breeze. If you exchange an item the exchange ships right after shipping it out to the post office. However I would not recommend buying final sale items. I bought a pair of shoes that were final sale thinking they'd be amazing and comfortable due to all the hype and they didn't even fit! My usual size was too small and half a size bigger was too big. So now I was stuck with $200 in store credit, very upset. I then decided to get a pair of boots with the store credit, and they were SO painful. I could not even wear them. The width was too narrow and it killed my feet. Again, half a size bigger was too big and the boots slipped off my feet. I found out that these were only returnable for store credit so now almost $400 down the drain. Maybe I can try selling them online... I also bought a pair of Scoula loafers and they were so so painful (again, half a size up and they slip off my feet) I can barely wear them for an hour without my feet aching in pain. They are not soft and very stiff. I thought I could break them in but they don't not soften even after months. Also, I had only worn them for a week and they were super scuffed and looked like I had them for years. I would not recommend this store if you're looking for comfortable shoes.

I am a shoe aficionado, and I had high expectations here, because their shoes are handmade in Italy by Italians, and because they have that rare of all rare luxuries today--leather soles!
I purchased the Fortuna point toe suede flat shoe. The box and packaging presentation are high luxury and beautiful. The shoe itself is pretty and nice, nothing special, though it does look like the Manolo Blahnik flat. The suede is nice, again nothing special--about the same quality I have seen in lower priced shoes like Ann Taylor (made in China) and J. Crew (used to be made in Italy). The heel height was a good height, the leather sole was soft, and the construction of the shoe bed felt expensively constructed, *however*: this is not the first point toe flat I have ever worn. I have worn Banana Republic (cheaper), Ann Taylor (cheaper) and J. Crew (about the same price range). I have NEVER had my third toe feel pressure from their shoe forms as I have from these.
I wore them to work yesterday and I still cannot touch my third toe nails because they feel so PAINFUL! This is really BIZARRE, because I do not have long toes, my shoe size is always consistent in the same type of shoe, and my size in this shoe was correct...
I was also very disappointed with the person who I chatted a question about how to review on their website this morning. Whereas other chat associates were friendly in the past, this morning's chatter was not helpful and was a bit rude.

I've found there to be tremendous size inconsistency with M. Gemi, despite the CEO claiming there is a uniform shoe last and sizing is consistent. Even within same style, shoes will fit differently, in one style, the right instep was tight on every pair. There prices have gotten higher and with their changing policies on exchanges and limited inventory, you might get shoes for a small discount and not find the right size to exchange it with. My impression is they waste too much on packaging and bells and whistles, and they see themselves as costing less than Gucci or Prada, but they are not Gucci or Prada by a long shot. We'll see.
