My first purchase at max sold was 5 years ago and I've been a buyer ever since. It's an above average online auction business operated by some of the nicest, friendliest,, transparent, experienced and professional people in the business of selling merchandise--and, they sell everything from antiques, collectibles, fine art, household furnishing and even automobiles. In fact, one can furnish their home no matter what one's taste may be, And it can all be done from the comfort of one's living room or in fact even the washroom. It's fun. easy to navigate on the computer and always exciting knowing that you may find that special treasure--so good luck on your quest. John Hayden, Toronto

These people auctioned off the contents of a three bedroom house full of furniture including Ethan Allan pieces, crystal pieces, china set, dining table and other items too lengthy to list for a total sum of $1236. After their fees of $971, we are to receive a total of $265.70. I was led to believe these items would be on a massively advertised internet auction. Only a handful of bidders and or buyers participated. Some were even tipped off relatives of MAX employees If you want to give your stuff away call GOODWILL. This was a highest bidder auction with low ball bids due to lack of advertising. I will call an estate auctioneer next time. They at least earn their fees.

An awesome experience! Downsizing our parent's home for their move to a senior's residence was easy with MaxSold. Within hours of emailing we'd arranged for a team to photograph and catalogue. Tammy and her team were professional and empathetic when helping to rearrange items into lots and presenting information.

The next step was to review the catalogue make corrections and add pertinent information. I should have been more thorough as I missed a few things. Once we approved the catalogue, a start date and pickup date were picked to fit our plan. The team's cooperation was great.

Pickup went better than I expected with over 380 lots. The team kept everyone moving, sorted out any problems, and tracked everything. It was amazing to watch 56 years of acquisitions move into new homes! I'll be calling on MaxSold again!

First off the staff are friendly and helpful. You really don't know what is going to be in the auction until you look. I've gotten some really cool stuff like a vintage record playing for $10. I check auctions daily

I am a relatively new bidder here, but got to say it has been a fantastic experience. Have done enough auction that now when i go for pick up, even before i show my receipt, its hi Peter good to see you. Lets see what ya got this time. Once even as they watched me pack some things, the lady came over and showed me how to better do it so the very fragile glass ware would not break., so kind. Having a bad back and getting some heavy planters, the staff found me a dolly to move the items. Above and beyond duty. Thank you all!

I have used MaxSold several times to score many incredible deals on all kinds of great stuff; tools, toys, books, home decor, fantastic art, hardware and RECORDS. The staff at the pick up locations has always been fantastic. Extremely polite and helpful. I can't say enough about my local crew(s) (Philadelphia area). Estate sales can be a little uncomfortable sometimes with being in some ones home and trying to get the best deal. The auction format and friendly staff eliminates any of those worries. I would recommend MaxSold to anyone.

I am in love again! No need to search any further than the Max Sold site. I have been enjoying the great deals now for over two years travelling within a 75 mile radius to auctions... getting fantastic items at low, low prices for not only myself but passing them along to my church, local animal and homeless shelters and to family and friends. It's so easy and the staff of Max Sold at pick up is always so pleasant and helpful. Try it once and you will be addicted too! They do a super job in preparation and in pick up. Many thanks for all the hard work. Gotta go... need to check out more auctions in area!

I have found many awesome treasures, made extra cash and furnished 2 homes! Not every company is perfect but what I love most about Maxsold is that they go above and beyond to settle any issues you may by some chance have come across.

I was so very impressed with the initial interactions, the team who came to photograph and list my items, and the overall process. Then the lack of appropriate marketing in my area meant that after I paid the fees I only netted $100, almost half of the sold items were not picked up so they are still my problem to deal with, and during the supervised pick up, three different incidents happened that damaged walls in my home. The agents on site assured me that MaxSold would take care of it. I have called multiple times, asked to speak to "supervisors" who promised return calls, and no one will call me back and we are over a month out from the pick up date. What had started out as a great experience quickly turned sour and I am beyond disappointed that MaxSold won't even return my calls.

I know it is all about making a buck with most companies but it would be great to have a little integrity. I've noticed that they like to split up matching sets of things- for ex. Splitting up 6 dining chairs into two groups of three. This encourages bidding wars and drives up the price. Smart- but also a bit sleazy. The other day I witnessed a buyer stumble as he was leaving one of their auction sites and drop the dishes he was carrying. He had caught his arm on a broken door handle when exiting. The broken handle sticking out was obviously a hazard and should have been taped over or the door pushed open more so people could easily pass through it. I thought the staff would have offered to give him some kind of partial refund (the Max Sold portion) considering that they didn't provide a safe pathway in and out of the house free from hazards. All he got was an, oh, too bad they broke and they helped him pick up the pieces so the next buyer could enter.

I have been a buyer on Max Sold for about 6 months now, the ads are honest and complete - if there is something wrong/worn/untested, they mention it - you don't often get to preview the items so this transparency is critical.

I have had to contact support a couple of times to inform them someone else is going to make my pick up and once due to discrepancies in a description - immediate results and 100% satisfied.

Also, the local employees (who by now know me to see me) are super nice.

It was more than a few years back, I became interested in Estate, Storage and other auctions. The process as is, can be expensive, time consuming which may leave you without a good feeling or experience. Finding MaxSold over 5 years ago, all that goes away, it's like the cure for the common cold. The only side effect is to control your spending habits, it can be addictive and to research properly.

I've brought many things I need and some I've resold or even gifted.

It's Fun, Fair and just more Fun... I was caught, so get hooked!
