MaxSold

Nothing has beaten MaxSold for us in terms of setting up our new home. We used to Craigslist heavily, but MaxSold has all but made us abandon it. Somehow we always find someone selling a household item we need, it's always way cheaper than buying new, and it feels good to know that something will be reused instead of wasted. We've shopped over 100 auctions here and will continue to do so as long as they exist!

I have purchased items from Maxsold for the past five years! I am always more than satisfied. In fact, I usually wish that I had bought more items! I recently had a seller-managed sale which did incredibly well! All of my items sold for a fair market price. Maxsold made it easy with online training videos and documents to guide you through the process. If you encounter a problem or have a question, customer service will respond quickly and help you resolve the issue. I have dealt with other online estate sale companies and had problems. So, now I only deal with Maxsold. In my opinion, they are the BEST!

Maxsold is less of a hidden gem than it was before but you can still score a lot of awesome deals on antique, vintage, and modern stuff. The place, day-to-day and time of pickup are clearly stated so you can plan ahead or choose not to bid. Premiums seem fair and the bidding process is clear (though you set your max bid after your initial bid, I've seen some bids clearly by people who thought their initial bid was their max, the same as eBay does it).

I have participated in 6 auctions as a buyer and am happy with MaxSold, As with any auction that relies on photos you must do your research and bid within reason. Sometimes the pick-ups can be very busy and crowded and other times a quick in and out. Smart bidders can find real value once they become knowledgeable with the process.

I cannot count the amount of MaxSold auctions I have purchased from. Both in upstate New York and on Long Island. I have always had a positive experience – especially with the crews. They are so helpful and polite every time! I try and stay away, but MaxSold makes it impossible lol!

Over the past couple years I have made 8-10 purchases from MaxSold auctions without one issue.
I have found their directions to be quite clear as to bidding, pickup, time frames, etc. Every person I have dealt with so far was helpful and accommodating. If you read what they post you will have all the information needed.
One purchase I made included a fire pit. It was full of ashes. I dumped them out on site and that revealed that the bottom was burned out. I showed an attendant and the charge was promptly removed from my account. You do need to check your items on site as is clearly stated.
I buy from a few action sites and MaxSold is my preference. I purchased a full set of leathers, including boots, gloves and a good quality helmet for $60. I consider that a very good deal. I operate as a re-seller.

Max Sold is the best auction site out there! Real time bidding & communication, area choice, easy to navigate site, easy pick up & great photos. I have enjoyed many auctions and treasures from this site!

MaxSold is a great website for resellers and collectors to source or find items for their collections. The prices are usually a bit more affordable than other sites. The auctions run by MaxSold, in my experience as a buyer, are well run and the workers are extremely helpful. Chances of finding an auction at close distance to you is high and you can save on gas in this economy!

I've not sold with Maxsold, but have bought a few times. The site is easy to use, and pickup of items is only days afterward. The only issue I have is that the pickup times are very narrow and specific. Don't bid expecting them to ship it to you or wait if you get stuck in traffic. Living near LA, sometimes traffic IS an issue- just plan ahead and give yourself lots of drive time. Not all of the pictures do the items justice, so there is some risk. There are some items that are dirty, and you need to pack things up and move them yourself. I've found unique and useful items, and cheaper than estate sales. I picked up some china today, and it was a great deal!

What started off as moving Mom and Dad to a retirement community, auctioning what they didn't need, and selling their house became a three month trial of hospital visits for both, hospice care for my dad, and his passing. But in the meantime, plans had been put in place to move. I'm giving you all these details so that you know the context when I say that Heidi and her team were so helpful, so supportive, and so easy to work with through a very difficult time. They gave us the flexibility we needed as to when to start the auction process, and we knew exactly what was happening with every step of the way. I was so impressed with the research they did in creating the listings. Everything was so professionally done, and the whole process was incredibly smooth. They totally earned their commission. I highly recommend them, and would work with them again anytime.

Being new to the MaxSold auctions I didn't know what to expect. I made a purchase, got my invoice, selected a pick up time and eagerly waited for my pick up day. I was a little nervous at pick up but the MaxSold employees were very friendly and helpful making the whole process extremely smooth. Item was dirtier than looked in photos, with quite a bit more lint and dust and stuff stuck to the exterior than you could see in the pictures. But was expecting to be giving it a good cleaning and service anyways, so not a huge deal. Just may have worn gloves and an older shirt to pick it up :)

Started using MaxSold the middle of 2021. Signed up, added a credit card and started browsing the local auctions. So far have won over 10 auctions. Got a good price and the fee was acceptable. Just remember to account for the fee when bidding so you know what you are paying for the item. All items pickups were easy and fairly organized. Website is easy to navigate.

I can not praise the Maxsold team enough from helping me do the contract online to the four members of the catalogue team coming to my home. After looking days before at their video to help me understand the process, I took colored post-its and put them on everything I wanted to be in the auction and what I wanted to keep for my move. As a widow, letting go memories is not easy. When the Maxsold team came, they put my mind at ease that everything would go as plan until the last item was carried away. I can not thank them enough for there excellent service and support. I recommend them highly and have also recommended them to my friends.
