MaxSold is very easy to use and you can get a great deal on some beautiful things someone else won't need or use anymore. Definitely a good feeling to keep a lot out of landfill.

I love this site. I win a lot of usable items and I do not have to sit around some auction house waiting for the auction. I bid from my desk or couch easy peasy.

They do a fabulous job in the presentation. You really know what you are buying. I will take issue with the potential ambiguity in wording for electrical products. I bought a pair of Klipsch speakers for $450. The description says the speakers are working... quote "as per the seller"
When I got them home they were not. We have not deduced why and will investigate further when we have time. The description lacked info on the tweeters being non original and that they were not attached to the body of the speakers.
Its an auction therefore everything is "As is" so I am basically screwed. You are basically gambling on online auctions.
Many goods are not checked and one should never take the word of a seller. Of course you will miss many potential buys because others will not be so careful. The answer is to give money back if not working when sellers says it is. Or let us come and check the product out ourselves.
They also misuse the word art and print. A print is exactly what it is. A mechanical reproduction of an original maybe. Art is surely a piece crafted by the maker or producer. If you are careful there are many bargains. Furniture is an obvious. In fact anything outside of electrics and that described as art, is a safe bet.

I HAVE PURCHASED MANY TIMES FROM MAXSOLD AND HAVE SPENT A LOT OF MONEY BUT RECENTLY I HAVE FOUND THAT MANY OF THEIR DISTRIBUTIONS (CARLISLE, MA) ARE NOT ACCURATE AND IF YOU CALL THEM ON IT THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND IT. MANY OF THESE ITEMS ARE BEING SOLD BY RESELLERS. I ALSO PURCHASED A BACCARAT DECANTER AND FOUND 6 CHUNKS BROKEN OFF AND THEY DID NOT MENTION IT WAS DAMAGED. WITH THE VIRUS THEY ARE WRAPPING EVERYTHING SO YOU CAN NOT CHECK IT AT PICKUP, THEN THEY DENIED MY REFUND CLAIM. I WILL NOT BE PURCHASING AGAIN.

I bid for a set according to picture and description I found that it's error and no more details about the sizes of plates I should receive I talked to team lead at thier pick up and she talked to USA Manger Petti who refused to refund or even answer the phone or talk to us. we kept try to cominicate by phone for support line and by emails but no response at all I paid more than the double of the should pay for same item in regular site like ebay.

You need a peace of mind go to MaxSold. Never having a problem with the items I have bought From MaxSold. When I go to pick up my items I found it very organized people are very friendly. When there is a problem it is taken care of. I got the honor to work with Adam, Maxsold had more employees like Adam, MaxSold would be number one it is workers like Adam make it a pleasure to go through MaxSold, I had a nightmare with in a hour it was fixed Thank You Adam :)

Too many side deals cut by the employees. If you are at a pick up and see some you like, chances are an employee will let you walk with it for a few $$$$.

I have had multiple negative experiences from this company and completely sympathize with the unhappy customers who can do nothing but write an online review because Maxsold will do nothing with their complaints except point to their terms of liability. Broken and hidden damage, inaccurate descriptions, rude treatment by sale managers, expensive fees, rigid and unaccommodating pickup scheduling. The feeling of being ripped off is not what I am accustomed to when shopping at estate sales. Updated- I requested and was given a refund by Maxsold over a recent issue and do believe that they are willing to help the buyers resolve issues when the seller managers refuse. Maxsold is not involved in the listing, photographs, or any logistics of the sales so you are at the mercy of the sale manager. It was a huge relief to know they are willing to step in! I raised my rating from one star to three stars; bid with caution, do your research, and read every last word of fine print If you do chose to use this platform as a buyer. Good luck!
