I've been reaching out to Matte Collection about my swimming suit but no response. I emailed them and It's been over 24-48hrs. There's no way they can be contacted by number. I'm so upset this is my first time purchasing from this company. I would like my money back. They gave me 1 bathing suit and gave me something I never wanted. I'm so disappointed. I want to return the other item but I shouldn't have to pay for shipping and labeling!

Buyer Beware!

I have ordered from Matte before as was pleased with my choices. The problem arises when you are not pleased and need to return! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Do not, I repeat, do not make the mistake of purchasing the "mystery box"...which isn't a box at all. They should call it the "cleaned out the scraps closet" bag. That is what it looks like they did. Old fashioned, dowdy looking pieces. Two were the exact same in different colors and a sad little wrap! Matte customer service is sickening. You have to pay to return anything and then they will ignore your return and not process a refund until you message them constantly. AND when you finally get your refund (if you do), they will hold back the shipping you already paid too! What in the world?! I paid that too already, how in the heck do you all get to keep it! They are greedy and now I no longer want anything from that company. Buyer beware! You can find nicer suits from a number of places with much better customer service and refund policies.

Never received package

I placed an order with Matte Collection on July 5th at 8:32am containing 6 items purchased totaling $104.53. On the same day, I received a confirmation via email, that my order has ben shipped at 5:03pm. My order was marked as delivered in/at mailbox on July 11,2024 at 8:17 pm according to the **** tracking number provided to me by Matte Collection. Shocked it was marked delivered because no one rung my bell to enter the building. I reached out July 22nd via email (the only way you are able to communicate with them) to inform them that I never received my package although according to the tracking information it stated delivered. I inquired should I file a claim with USPS... I received an automated email stating " Thank you! We have received your support request and we are working on it. We will get back to you within ***** business hours (Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:00pm EST). On July 25th, I received a response stating exactly what I informed the business "Your order has been delivered!
I have included a link to your tracking information: ********************************* If you have any other questions please respond directly to this email." Never addressed if I should file a claim with USPS or not. I am highly disappointed because I have ordered from this business a numerous of times in the past over the years. I really needed the swimwear pieces for my Birthday vacation. Hence the reason I made sure to order a month in advance. I try my best to support small woman owned businesses yet the customer service is not always the pleasant/helpful. The big corporations will help to ensure the consumer is happy. I hope this company improves and treat their customers better.

They Good Y'all

These comments are diabolical! I read these on the third day when I was waiting for my order and I sent an email. They responded back in 40 minutes and gave me tracking information even though I had the link in the app. I was still thinking they better not play. My order arrived on the 4th day. All swimsuits were beautiful and thick material. I didn't like the cover up because it was to extra for me. I had a good experience and these comments really had me scared AF. I was dancing and singing bae I luuuuuhhhh youuuuu! Get it sexy with them because it's good!

The biggest

Love this woman owned brand based out of Atlanta. They have the hottest trends that come out and they are so affordable. I always buy as soon as they drop the summer releases. The names of the items are always so cute! I got the Nikko violet and used the skirt as a tube dress cover-up to camouflage the zebra stripe stretch marks perfectly!

Horrible customer service

I ordered an item and it was never received it never left the shipping state of GA was told they would reship the item after waiting for a new tracking number I reached and and asked for a refund I was again promised a refund it has been over a month of countless emails and no resolve… A simple refund being that I never received the item would have been great especially being in a repeat customer

Terrible

I wish it had an option to give 0 stars. It's like one person works here, take orders then sit on their a**. I ordered the same thing twice as my vacation was fast approaching and I needed the outfit. Why did they "ship" my item, got a confirmation everything with a tracking number but when I contacted UPS they don't have the package. Days passed and STILL no progress? Absolutely ridiculous. I had to go back and forth for a refund of something that is still in their possession. This place is wack.

Summertime FINE!

I was so scared to order but I took the chance and I am so glad I did! I ordered a 3 piece set multi moon and the curves are curving. My husband thought it was lingerie but when he found out it was smiwear he got excited and booked a cruise for us! Thank you Matte Collection for complementing my shape, I will be buying more! I am 5'6" 165lbs pear shaped and it fits me beautifully!

PAID, but HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY PURCHASE!

I ordered 5 items from Matte Collection on February 17,2024. I emailed them 5 times regarding the status of my order. Someone finally responded on February 26,2024 advising the order was lost in transit & they were shipping a new order. I finally received my order on March 4,2024… However, there were only 2 items in the package. I've emailed & emailed & emailed to NO response. At this point, I want ALL of my money back & I'll NEVER order from them again!

RETAIL SCAMMERS

On December 19th, I informed the company that I wanted to return three items that was returnable for order ******* because they sent me items that I didn't order. They gave me the instructions and they informed me that I would have to pay to send it back within 14 days from the date it was delivered to me. I returned the items on the same day. The items were delivered to them on Dec. 22nd. I followed up on Jan. 8th for the status of my refund. They asked me on Jan. 8th what items I returned and I replied with a list of the items and the return receipt from the post office. On Jan. 16th, the apologized for the inconvenience of stating the sent the refund request and should take 72 hours to receive the refund. On Jan. 14th I emailed them again stating that I still had not received my refund. On Jan. 16th they stated the return department experienced some delays and I should receive it as soon as possible. I told them that, the customers shouldn't have to suffer and they need to refund me my money ASAP. On 25JAN, they stated they issued me a refund of $193.50 and said I should see it in 3-7 business days. Here we are Feb.3rd and I have not received my refund of $193.50. This company seems very suspicious and this is totally unacceptable how they've conducted business. They received my items within the time frame given and it's a month and a half later and I have not received my money. This place is a SCAM! I see this same thing is happening to other people. I'm definitely reaching out to an attorney and contacting the media. These scammers need to be held accountable.

Horrible Company

I ordered multiple items and didn't receive 4. I emailed over and over for a response about this and 4 months nothing! Scammers and I tried to support a black owed business but never again. Do Better! I'll be sure to let everyone I know about this as well since I was referred by a few people that only saw them on Instagram.

Only writing this here because the owner doesn't allow negative reviews on the site. I've ordered from this site numerous times and I've really never had a problem. This time, I ordered 2 mystery basix boxes and received FOUR pairs of joggers and a crop and a bodysuit. I was disappointed about the lack of diversity and decided to write a review. That was weeks ago and new positive reviews are popping up but not the negative ones. That's shady to me, let buyers see how your customers really feel about your products. I was willing to shop there again but now I see how she operates. I can't trust a business that won't show negative reviews because we all know reviews help shape the buyers experience and decisions.

Do Not Purchase

Still waiting

I ordered a dress and swim wear from them about a month ago. This was my second order. I've never had problems with them until now. I received the swimsuit after almost a month with the invoice stating that I should have also received the dress. I didn't. After reaching out to the email provided several times over several days, I have not received a response, a credit, or my dress. I have since filed a dispute.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I ordered and never received the what I ordered. The package never made to the postal service for shipping. I reached out and received an email to check with the carrier service. I provided the tracking status that was provided by the postal service to Matte Collection customer service and received little to no response. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I feel like they stole fro me.

I ordered a package with 3 items and only 2 came. Very disappointing as I ordered these items to come in time for my birthday trip. Instead of offering to overnight the item they left out or any assistance at all, they just gave me a refund. I tried to reorder the item with 1 day shipping in hopes it'll get here in time, and it still will not be here. Waste of money. No assistance, no concern from the company when it was their mistake. I am so disappointed. Be wary in ordering from them.

These clothes are so cheap. When you wear them it's a one time outfit. I bought a tan outfit I could only wear once because the fabric rolled up with little balls all over it. Had to throw it away. Next I wore a dark grey outfit. The color of the fabric stained my skin, my nails, my underwear, ruined my favorite bra and destroyed my 1700 Gucci bag. They are trash trash trash. Literally throwing tomatoes. I'm so pissed. I'll never be able to use my favorite bag again! I was not in the rain, I didn't sweat. I sat indoors for about 4 hours at an event. I have never had fabric literally stain my skin and nails. I've washed my hands over and over it's still not gone.
