Match.com exhibits a polarized reputation among its users, with significant concerns overshadowing its strengths. Positive feedback highlights the site's potential for connecting users, particularly for younger demographics, and its broad user base. However, a predominant sentiment reflects dissatisfaction with customer service, marked by unresponsive support, unjust account terminations, and perceived deceptive practices regarding subscription fees. Many users report frustrations over a lack of transparency and the prevalence of fake profiles, leading to a sense of mistrust. Overall, while Match.com offers opportunities for connections, its customer service and business practices warrant serious scrutiny.

So many fake profiles and mostly people will like ur profile and never respond. Huge waste of time and money. Theres a reason they have a no refund policy. Never again.
Match, a 25-year-old dating site, is great. It has many single men and women looking for real partnerships. The site's simple interface, detailed profiles, and powerful search tools make it easy to find matches. Match is great for online dating.
They work hard to get people to subscribe but honestly once they get a sign up, they pretty much disappear. I expect as my end date approaches i will again see recommendations to whet my whistle for another 6 months. Fool me once...
I think Match should strongly consider having a feature where after you "like" somebody and send them a message, that you can STILL view them and see the message you sent, because right now, once you send one message, they're gone unless they respond. What if you wanna say something else in addition, or show a friend their profile?
It's free, that's what they say. Finding a partner. Not at all, love is blind and so are you. Being a member gives them the right to charge you more. Weather it's a reply, or receiving one. Everyone has to pay. They know people will spend what ever it takes. Sad but true. A member faults promises. It's all about the money. You get no replies unless you pay more. That's the bottom line. It sucks being single. They rush you into it. Your. They just don't let you, or the ones you like. To talk to any one. Ya sucks for we that are looking for love. So easy to get sucked in.
"The online dating service Match.com is fantastic, and it's where I finally found the one. It's a fantastic experience thanks to the intuitive design and large user base."
I've been a member YET AGAIN since jan, and the service has gone done. They charge for EVERYTHING, as if the monthly charge isn't enough. Want extra boosts? You pay for it. Want to talk to the HOT girls? You have to buy extra SUPERlikes, most of who will NEVER reply to you cause they are no longer on the site. I've been stood up more times than i care to mention, telling me that these are PAID TROLLS who aren't interested in dating, but PAID by MATCH to make it APPEAR they are daters. WHERE are we to meet QUALITY WOMEN who are looking exactly for that man who knows how to treat a woman, has a fantastic well compensated job, and is handsome? Cause it SURE isn't match.com
A great approach to meet new people in your neighbourhood is through Match Dating. Almost a year ago, I started using Match Dating, and I'm really happy with it. Meeting new people is made easier by the ease of use and friendliness and interest of all the other members.
I am so shocked that I can't believe I am writing this. I looked online for a dating site and came upon Match.com. I was astonished by their ability to identify someone who shared my interests. They were able to present me with a large number of candidates who met my requirements, the majority of whom appeared to share my interests. If you're seeking for someone, I would absolutely recommend this site, especially if you're not sure what kind of person you're looking for or where to start looking.
They have been sued by the FTC they are a fake website maybe some people meet on here 95% of the profiles they send me don't apply to what my specs are I am not physically or sexually attracted to a black person and they send me literally hundreds of black people because you can't specify race specifying race doesn't show prejudice you can pick who you want to sleep with my God in general I hate the website and I can't even unsubscribe because it app freezes every time you try they are real dishonest thieves in my opinion
This webpage is excellent. The website is simple to use and offers a wide range of potential dates. I've been happy with this site for about four months now that I've been using it.
Another personals platform pretending that there are women on it. NO moderation whatsoever, so they expect the users to do their job and report the bots. Women who want to meet me no longer exist, love is over. It`s very sad and pathetic time to be alive.
I've been using Match for about two years and I must say I'm very pleased with their service. They have a large user base, and the website is simple to navigate. I was looking for a relationship but didn't want to get hurt again, so I tried online dating sites. In my opinion, Match Online Dating Sites is by far the best online dating site. They have many users from all over the world who are very friendly and easygoing!
Match Dating is an excellent way to meet new people in your community. You can be matched with other singles or simply search the site for a new match. I've been using Match Dating for over a year and am very pleased with it. It's simple to use, and all of the other members are friendly and interesting, making it simple to meet new people.
These strange foreigners from dating sites. How a descendant of a Napoleonic general escaped from me and why the ladies are throwing macaroni.
What kind of inadequate Some inadequate people are sitting on your site, there is nothing positive in them, only negativity. I will never get acquainted with anyone through your site again...
If you're interested in a hookup then this is the site for you. Every man on this site is looking for a hookup and nothing more.
They just redesigned the mobile interface - it's a total failure! Clearly, they didn't do extensive testing and get feedback from users. It's time to get rid of Match. Given what they just did with the app, they demonstrated gross incompetence and that they don't give a damn about their paying customers who keep them in business. Close this site down! It's passe as a has been.
This group is match, zoosk, et all it is
Run byhigh schoolers that don't want college degreed white women on their site
A while back I created an account on Match.com. I didn't activate it, as I was not sure if I am ready for it. I created an account and never messaged anyone. On 2/5/23, I decided to "pull the trigger" on this. And I found out my account blocked. I called match, they could not find a reason and said that "someone from higher support will contact you". Boy, did they ever. I got an email from Franchesca Jimenez, that stated that "your Match account has been terminated. We believe this action to be in the best interest of our member community.
Any new accounts created will be subject to review and will be immediately terminated."
No explanation was given. I repeat, I NEVER activated my account and NEVER contacted anyone on match or from my match account. So I emailed her back directly and asked for a reason. Her response was precious. "Due to our privacy practices, we cannot disclose specifics about any Match account, including your own. ". Basically "We can ban you, and we won't tell you why". I repeat I NEVER, EVER activated my account or contacted anyone on match or from match. BEWARE, if they can do it to me, without ANY explanation they can and will do it to you, regardless are you a paying customer or not. STAY AWAY.
Answer: I was unable to get a refund but I dispute the transaction and got my money back that way. I said it was because they were not providing the service they claim to offer. If you can dispute with your bank just tell them you didn't authorize the transaction and the company refuses to refund you. Good luck.
Answer: No I would not trust it. There are scammers on there. They will tell you want you want to here. They are from another country. Look for key words such as widoer, contractor, travel, one child only. They will compliment you right off the bat about your smile. Not safe. Try another site.
Answer: Back in the 1980s, strip clubs were pulling all sorts of over charge and fake charge scams and forcing people tp pay. Here in Atlanta a majpr federal case against the GOLD CLUB brought all that to light and alot of changes were made in the industry... I BRING THAT UP BECAUSE... these social sites seem to be attempting the same types of scams and are getting away with it. By U.S. fedeal standars ALL THESE SITES FALL UNDER THE RACKETEERING STATUTE. Unfortunately there is NO enforcement of these laws at this time. Your best option is to dispute the entire charge with your credit card. They may not want to do this because they are seeing so much of it. BE FIRM AND INSIST IT IS A MATTER OF CREDIT FRAUD. Also be sure to indicate that you are filling a consumer notice with the Federal Trade Commision (they have online forms for this to keep a numbers count on how many people are affected by these sorts of things. www.FTC.org). If you have been a good card holder, you shouldnt have any issues except for 1: ALL THESE SITES ARE NOTORIOUS FOR REBILLING/DRAFTING YOUR CREDIT ACCOUNT. You may want to file a COMPROMISED CREDIT CARD CLAIM AT THE TIME OF THE DISPUTE and have your card issuer SEND YOU A REPLACEMENT CARD WITH A NEW CARD NUMBER.
Answer: You will have a hard time getting your money back Terri. The first time I was with them years ago, I forgot the auto renewal and tried to get my money back and they fought me tooth and nail. This time I tried both Ourtime and Match and both experiences were not good though Ourtime was a bit better. I agree with some of the answers here that Match baits you toward the end of your subscription with possible contacts, but since I cannot proof that I have to add that disclaimer. Everything you have run into with your experience I have had with mine.
Answer: You likely signed up for auto-renewal, which Match.com doesn't explicitly tell you out-right that it will auto-renew. You will not likely get a refund back for the month they charged you. However, go to your account's settings and cancel the feature ASAP. You will still have access for the month in question, but at least you will have stopped future withdrawals.
Answer: Give them a call... they always have something to scam people about...
Answer: Cancel the card you used when you joined.
Answer: That is an extra fare item and they charge you each time. Best to do your own searches and replies...
Answer: Too much don't do it!
Answer: I feel the same way Teresa, i have been on the site for 1 year now and cancelled my subscription, but was told it won't officially cancel until May because i waited to late after my initial sign up day, so i got stuck with another year. I am a handsome guy with a lot to offer, but for some reason never really got emails as i expected, i started to think the people profiles were fake or the women i was interested in didn't know a good man if his profiled slapped them in the face, just sayN. 41, recently divorced for little over a year, highly educated, working in my profession, make close to six figures, single, don't cheat, great personality, smart, don't play, and real down to earth... but i guess no one believed it or didn't like my handsome picks... IDK. Confused!
