Can't open email graphics example amazon purchasing confirmation emails
Rubbish
Has annoying ad emails constantly at the top of your inbox
I like the yahoo mail. Use it for 5 years and I'm satisfied. It has good spam filter and always notices me of any suspicious activity in my account
Adding information to your contacts is just impossible. Previously saved info totally lost!
When are you going to correct this
It costs to do anything on yahoo and that is WRONG. There are people from cambodia or asia or arabic countries that you cannot at all understand. It costs 1.00 a minute to call them. Also calling comcast or xfinity costs as well $1.30 a minute. We are disconnected as a society and all are robots staring 24 hours a day at a computer screen. Also tried to call capital one today and they wanted 1.00 a minute to talk to them. Since Covid this is a reality. How man of the thousands of companies out there will do this scam and fraud of the compujter. I am not a robot and am tired of being treated like one or a piece of garbage and crap. I plan to tell hundreds of my neighbors what the hell is going on. It happened when Japan bought out yahoo in 2015 and the other day AOL bought them out. All it does is make companies bigger and bigger and bigger. If covid existed they would not get away with this scam and sham. I hate you yahoo mail. I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you. I plan to tell the 2000 people in my apartment complex the scam and sham yahoo is pulling by putting people who do not speak any english at all on the line where no matter what you cannot understand them. What a scam to do to the elderly. I am 56 years old and considered elderly since I am 1000 percent disabled. This is the truth and want people to know that we are being made into robots and to stare at a compter and be a robot for the next 50 years. Yahoo mail sucks bad!

I've tried for a week to get into my accounts. You are a nightmare. I've had one acct over 20 years. Never again, absolutely maddening.
They keep sending my emails to SPAM folder. I have contacted support and their response is as useless as their email system.
If I could give Yahoo zero I would - product SUCKS! User interface is horrible. Can not even make inbox readable. Do Not Use!
I have been using yahoo mail for some years now, I think it is very well put together. So I give it 4 Star Rating.
Yahoo e mail not responsive, gmail loads within 10 seconds, yahoo does not load at all, after 60 seconds, bombs out, saying "no internet connection".
Who charges people just to reset their password? And who the hell is really going to be needing all tat "assistance" with their email?
Browser beware.
For safety's sake I would leave no personal info on any emails. Delete, delete and delete often.
My yahoo mail is a disaster. Decided to try a free 14 day trial of yahoo plus. Slight reduction of ads but still no way to help with spam, so I tried to cancel after 14 days. Only way to cancel is by getting a phone code (but my phone was not on file and no way to enter it in settings), a QR code (which I wasn't set up for) or by a code sent to an alternate email (which was an email I hadn't used in 15 years and did not know the password for). So I had to call them, wait on hold, then spent at least 30 minutes while they said they could not identify me. They did NOT have an identification problem when I signed up for Yahoo plus or billed me! Finally agreed to cancel but would not refund the $5 which had been billed today for coming month. I was so pissed that I spent another 30 minutes trying to get refund, mainly someone explaining they could not identify me so they could not refund. When I asked for a supervisor, I went into a loop for 30 minutes of the guy saying "I could not find a supervisor, may I place you on a brief hold while I continue to look for one." This went on for a while before I finally gave up. CONGRATULATIONS, YAHOO, YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY SCREWED AN OLD LADY OUT OF 5 BUCKS! I hope you're really proud of yourselves!
AM DISABLED AND YAHOO REFUSED TO GIVE ME ACCESS TO MY ACCOUNT. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO WORK FOR 4 YRS DUE TO THEIR CRAZINESS. REPORTING TO THE BBB. I THINK THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ON DRUGS.
Nothing but spam adverts total crap for all real news use a proper website this is just a site for crap advertising spam websites
I have had a Ymail account since about 2007. E-mail received was initially just from my friends. I then joined a list serve for attorneys. I would get dozens of e-mails daily from this list serve. Yahoo seemed unable to handle the increased volume of e-mails. I don't recall now what kinds of problems there were. One thing I do recall is that if a list serve member responded to a posting, the response would come into my e-mail as a separate e-mail. If 10 people responded to a posting on the list serve, I would end up with 11 e-mails (the original poster's + the 10 responses). If I tried to search for a certain subject line (so I could read all the related e-mails at one time) Yahoo often seemed to malfunction (i. E., returning no results, etc.). Fed up, I opened a Gmail account and have used that for the list serve e-mails. If there are multiple responses to a post, only one e-mail shows up in a person's Gmail inbox--the original post and the responses are all "bundled" into one e-mail.
My Ymail account has been hacked at least twice while my Gmail account hasn't been at all.
Yahoo is also lousy at filtering out spam. After the most recent hack, I've found that I typically get about a dozen "pornographic" e-mails in my spam folder. I delete these without opening them but, based on the subject matter, it's clear that they are filthy (i. E., "want to watch me masturbate"). I also get almost daily e-mails in spam re Viagra. I get none of these types of e-mails in my Gmail account. The only genuine spam I get in Gmail is of the "Nigerian scam" variety and I might get 1-2 daily.
A few years ago I was having problems with my Ymail account so sent a complaint to Yahoo about it (don't recall the exact issue now). Anyway, I did get a response from Yahoo--Yahoo took NO responsibility for the problem and informed me that the problem must be MY computer!
Anyway, I am in the process of shutting down my Yahoo account. Wouldn't recommend Ymail to anyone.
Well they are not the best and not the worst. I have had several Yahoo mail accounts over the years and have not had issues.
They have absolutely no customer service and don't give a damn. Use any other email... it has to be better.
Always need to verify account every single time what an annoying and unnecessarily cumbersome process
Answer: You can get the old version back by clicking on the "SWITCH TO BASIC MAIL WITH FEWER FEATURES" below the YAHOO POP-UP AD BOX. UNFORTUNATELY THIS YAHOO AD BOX CONTINUES TO POP-UP whenever I TRY TO OPEN AN EMAIL. I can find no way to delete this MOST ANNOYING YAHOO AD BOX. YAHOO HELP IS NO HELP as they IGNORE my requests.
