I ordered items and I never received the items O ordered. I asked for a refund and pretty much got laughed at. Im out 200.00 Buyer beware and I wont buy from them again.
Quality is down in the drain. 75 $ work pants were literally cheap legging/tights when they arrived. To top that off they reduced the article price when i am trying to return it, with my own shipping. I am so taken aback how some company can be so bad but fool others.
I ordered four items. One was fine. One was the wrong size. One had a hole in it and the last was a cream sweater with a small but noticeable stain. I'm so disappointed as I shopped at Tall Girl here in Canada for years and then switched to Long Tall Sally. They closed the retail location a few years back and nothing I've ordered online has been as good, but this purchase was just ridiculous. To top it off, making a return would require me to purchase my own shipping! Why I can't just email them a photo of the damage is beyond me but the least they could do is pay for the return shipping of damaged merchandise.
My husband ordered a sweat suit for me for Christmas. He ordered in US sizes. When he got it, the top was good but the bottoms were the UK size. So, he returned it and order it again in the US size. Again, it came back in the wrong size. I've written 6 emails trying to get a return label and they sent me two. One was for mailing in UK and the other was for something that was ordered a while ago.Not what I need. It seems like no one can do a simple job. NO ONE is available to talk on the phone so I can make sure they understand. It getting ridiculous. I've ordered from here many times and have been pleased with them UNTIL NOW. I'm so frustrated. Please hire someone who knows what they're doing.
Some of LTS's clothing looks great, and I wear the items for years. But sometimes things just do not work out after trying on. I am so disappointed in LTS's return policy yet again. Everytime I try to return something (US to UK), there is a problem, and it becomes a big ordeal. (Not like the US where you get a return label instantaneously.) Even so, I very recently gave LTS one more shot before writing them of. But alas, providing me with an authorization has become a monumental task on their side yet again. This policy of delay, delay, has prevented me from purchasing more items. In recent years, they've improved their styles and variety; but if the items don't suit you after the try on, you better have the patience of a saint plus not mind the expense of return shipping. Sorry LTS, but this is my honest opinion. I don't enjoy posting a negative review, but I thing you should be aware of the issues.
Great products until you need to return something. First, if you are an international customer who does not live anywhere near a store, they charge you to return an item. They charge you either $20 or they said I would have to pay my own shipping. Secondly, I returned the product in late March and still do not have a refund. Lastly, they have not responded to my inquiries about the refund. I have sent about 4 email forms and 6 chat messages over the course of the last 4 weeks. I love the long lengths of the clothing, but this customer service experience has made me decide that buying from them again is not a good idea.
I'm really disappointed in this company. Around Christmas time I ordered some items and the package was never delivered. I'm out my money and they won't reimburse it. Stay away, I won't order from Them again!
After making a mistake and ordering duplicate pairs of pants, I tried contacting the company. It took them five days to respond and say they process orders immediately even though they hadn't processed it I explain to them my order haven't been processed her shift that they should be able to cancel the duplicate orders. Seven days later they responded again and said it had already shipped so sorry they couldn't help me. And the orders take two weeks to arrive and if you want to return some thing you have to pay return shipping even on a $400 order.
The size I wanted was out of stock. I asked for an email telling me when it was available again. I received an email saying they got more stock. When I clicked on the suit, a size 12 popped up. When I bought and received the suit it was a UK size 12 not a US size 12. Obviously it was way too small. When I went to return it, I had to pay for return shipping which was $20! As a tall woman, it is hard enough for me to find things that fit. But then to be screwed when it's the wrong size is very upsetting.

The shoes that I ordered and tried to change or cancel 1 hour after I ordered them were shipped in an unprotected bag and were damaged. Not at all surprise due to their unprofessional shipping practices. UPS wanted over $200 to ship them back because the company changed their return policy that was totally misleadin. I've never heard of a company not paying for the return on damaged goods. I will dispute the charges and throw the shoes in the trash.
Just purchased A pair of shoes from Long Tall Sally. The shoes did not fit like the shoes that I have put in the past so I had to return them then the nightmare began. I got the runaround and yet I had a certain amount of time in which to return the shoes when I try to use the initial mailing label I was told the price to ship it would be $191! It took a week just to get the return process straight. I lost $24! I'm DONE!
I used to love LTS but ever since they were bought out they have TERRIBLE customer service. I bought two pairs of jeans and both were not what I'd hoped. When I tried to return the system didn't recognize my order number, so I couldn't use the automated system. I tried calling and chatting and because of the time difference could never get someone, so I emailed. They finally sent a return label and I take it to the post office only to find out that it's not paid and that shipping it back will cost me as much as my order. How can an online company not have easy returns?! Now I have 2 pairs of jeans that I don't want and I'm out $100.
I placed several orders and returned them. Weeks later I received emails saying they received my items and would refund me. They didn't. They wouldn't respond to my emails either. I filed a dispute with my credit card to which LTS responded I hadn't used their return portal (not true, I did and have the emails to show it) and they hadn't received the return (a blatant lie - I have emails from them saying otherwise). Stay far away! They're awful.
I've ordered from this store a total of 5 times. I've purchased 3 items, 2 if the same items in different colors. All items are supposed to fit a US 14. Every single one has to be altered, which makes my purchases to costly for the quality. I was delivered an item today; it's at least a US size 20. It looks horrible. If you purchase it's a hit or miss. I keep missing. It's time to find another merchant.
The company sent me the wrong size of jeggings, which were literally 4-5 inches too big in the waist. I am forced to pay the return postage from the US to the UK, even though the company made the error. It is impossible to get ahold of customer service.
Absolutely terrible process to make a return if you don't live in the UK. They use a 3rd party vendor to ship to the US and they have no problems ripping you off. Long Tall Sally offers a free return label for exchanges on their website but that is absolutely untrue if you live in the US. This didn't use to be an issue. I've ordered in the past and have been able to exchange for the right size with no issues. Not anymore. Their customer support is a joke. They don't even read your entire email. They read the header and respond with a canned response. Regardless of how much info you give them they continue to ask for the same stuff over and over. Even though its already on the email! I emailed over and over and not once did I get the actual help I was asking for. A freaking return label for an exchange! Here's the kicker.I finally figured out I had to reach out to the shipper of my clothes. GLOBAL-E. Sure I could send my items back for an exchange. I just had to pay the shipping myself. $199.00 Dollars, for 2 items. WTH? Really? So disgusted and disappointed with this whole mess. Best advice DO NOT buy from LTS unless you are absolutely sure of your size or you live in the UK. So sad too because they have some decent clothes for us tall women.
I ordered my item in July and never received it. They say it was delivered but I didn't get it. I informed them and did everything they asked me to do, like check with neighbors and I had to fill out a declaration form. I have had no response from them in over a month. You are better off ordering from China. This company is horrible. I don't know if they are under new management but something is wrong
I was a long time LTS shopper and was saddened when they were sold to AK Holdings. My first orders under new ownership were disastrous: wrong sizes, poor quality, slow refunds and very poor customer service. I didn't buy anything for a year because I was sick of what became of the brand. This fall I took a chance on ordering a leather jacket. Beautiful jacket but it was too big for me. I returned it, ordered a different size and received my refund quickly. This shopping experience was quite the opposite of previous orders. I have since placed a couple more orders and everything arrived on time, with correct sizing and better quality of their products. It appears AK Holdings knew something was wrong with the LTS brand experience with it's customers and decided to do something about. I will remain a LTS customers as long as it provides the quality of products and customer service.

SO mad and sad! I placed a few orders and they were impossible to work with to make returns. They try to send you a UK label mailing from the US so you can put your own postage on it, in my case it would've been $50+ to return. They make you jump thru sooo many hoops to get the right label and without assistance. If you do order be warned, and you need to get the $12 return label that is offered thru E-Global. Long Tall Sally has definitely changed ownership or something becuz it used to be reputable so sadly disappointing! Best of all they charged me for 2 necklaces I never received and charged me another $12 to return those of which I never received!
I have shopped at Long Tall Sally for many years. Now that they were bought out the quality is awful. Total Garbage! Returns take forever and you never get your money back unless you call and spend hours on the phone they lie and say that return was not received although you have confirmation. After 3 months and 8 phone calls I finally got my credit. Stay away!
Answer: It was easy by email. There's a Return link on your email confirmation. But it costs a lot of money! $22 to return a swimsuit. Grrrrrr. Start shopping on Lane Bryant online or American Tall. Lane Bryant carries.Lomg pants and online sales everyday.
