Overpriced tickets, venue, $45 drinks
December 5, 2022

Ticketmaster/Live Nation has the worst customer service and the pricing is absurd. I went to the EchoPlex for a concert from a small band based in Chicago and they tried to charge $45 for an AMF. I wish I was kidding. The bartender literally said "I am sorry but the pricing is from Live Nation. They started buying up the small Venues in LA during the pandemic when they were about to go bankrupt." Tell me ur a monopoly without telling me. They will inflate anything for money. Greedy scums.

Horrible
January 4, 2023

I placed an order with this company on December 8 expecting it before Christmas. On December 30, my order had not been processed and I asked for a refund. I would avoid doing any business with this company. They are terrible and full of excuses.

Accidentally bought some kind of lounge ticket instead of the parking pass. Realized the next day and contacted them with no return call or email. This went on several times as I tried to contact. Eventually got a manager and they said we are just out the money. Couldn't get parking because lot is full now and they won't refund. Only bought one lounge ticket cause it was a mistake so nobody else in group has one. Won't even be spending time in the lounge I am paying to see the concert not lounge. Find it hard to believe a multibillion dollar company can't refund 100 for a mistake and it should have been handled earlier but customer service doesn't respond.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. I brought my son to his first concert. Dave Matthews Band! The two men seated behind us were obnoxiously drunk and completely rude to us. This wasn't minor, the men were purposely trying to ruin our evening. Not only did Dos Equis Pavilion (Live Nation) staff move us up to better seating, they also got us free tickets to a different concert. They far far exceeded my expectations in how they handled this. The pavilion has a great set up with amazing staff. I highly recommend going to any type of event here.

Of late, every time I purchase tickets on the first day of on sale I find better tickets released within a month. And I am not just talking the last minute releases. Why even try to get them on the first day? Such a game. Today they released better isle seats all the way up the sections which they obviously held back on to later entice those who really were not as into going. If and if you called to get those better seats, they charge you for the change. Not cool.

The Nas and Wu-Tang concert on 9/7/22 was by far the most organized event ever! The parking pass lot was well organized and the parking directors were friendly and made sure everyone knew which way to go. The workers addressed all questions and all concerns where needed. We liked the fact that they told us to enjoy the show and were generally happy to help. As for the actual event, it was GREAT! The acoustics were phenominal under the Pavillion area! The stage and performers were well organized and lit up! There were no bugs biting us at no point during the event and the food was great! My only complaint was that the souvenirs were ridiculously priced. This is our first Live Nation event. As long as they are like this we will return! Thank you for hosting GREAT time!

You have a better chance of hitting Powerball than getting a discount through any entertainer you follow and states that you get pre-sale discounts for tickets. I wonder why?, lol, but, just go through the site without said discount and the sites works like a dream...

I was to attend the Dead and Company Final tour at Talking Stick Amphitheatre in Phoenix. I paid 170 per seat, only to have people from the lawn area take my seats. I asked security to help remove people from my seats. They told me they would have the police help they could not. The police never showed up to help. I am disable can not stand for 3 plus hours for the concert, so I eventually had to leave without seeing the concert. Live Nation and Ticket Master have been no help and will not respond to a refund request. I will never attend an event that Live Nation manages.

VIP BOX disaster
December 10, 2022

Do not trust Live Nation and what you purchase. Purchased a VIP box number 3 in Denver at the Fillmore. Chose box on Ticketmaster website after calling the venue and choosing the box my self. Once at the show we were escorted by Live Nation security to our box only to be moved again tow hours alter and told that there were more then one BOX 3 and we had to move in the middle of the concert missing one of the bands performances. Live Nation supervisor was extremely rude and said it was not their fault it was security fault, and then proceeded to tell us there was nothing we could do except call the venue the next business day. Stated that security was not part of the VIP yet their shirts clearly stated Live Nation on them. Live Nation was unorganized, rude and misleading and have no accountability when consumers are paying hundreds and sometimes thousands for these VIP packages.

I went to the 50 cent concert last night and it was awesome. I decided to buy food during intermission and specifically wanted bottled water since the temperature was 93 plus. Degrees. I went to one concession stand and Needless to say the cashiers said they weee out of bottled water and was offering beer for an substitute. This is an epic failure. How are you not stock for water for a concert with 10- 15 thousand people in attendance.

If you have issues with your tickets, good luck getting a response from customer service. I wrote in and called two weeks before my event regarding an account issue that prohibited me from posting my tickets. I didn't get a response from support until the day before the event, and my tickets lost a lot of value. I wouldn't be out hundreds of dollars if I could have promptly gotten good customer service.

Booked a Platinum Party bus to Kid Rock in April with no mention of the need for a parking pass. Two days before the event, our driver contacts us and asks if I have a parking pass. I asked what he was talking about as no one had mentioned a pass when I booked the bus. He informed me that sometime mid-season that LIVE Nation had implemented the need for a parking pass with no notice. He said we could pay cash at the gate. WTF, sounds sketchy to me at best. Then I go to the website and I can't even find out how much it is as it changes per event. When we got to the gate, I felt like I was extorted out of $80. Then once in the venue for the concert, we found that every time you went to the bathroom or to get food and drink, you had to show your ticket in order to get back into the amhpitheatre and again to get into our seats. Has anyone thought this through? This is no easy task when both hands are full with food or drink. I will do my best to avoid LIVE Nation run events in the future.

Warning do not go to concerts this spring or summer or venues this Year in 2022!
They are now forcing you to prove you have a vaccination shots, and if you can't or choose not to they are making you go into tents and spend $40-$60 to get a negative test! While you miss most of the performance. No refunds.
If you decide to comply with all of their violations and you do go into the concert they are making people give up their personal belongings for their own safety! Rent-a-secuity under the age of 25 are taking ladies purses and other personal belongings until the performance is over.
It's being done at venues all over the state of Indiana and various other states it would do us well to inform our fellow neighbors and family members.

Caters to scalpers
December 3, 2021

Their verified resale program allows scalpers to go buy up all the tickets for popular concerts and then immediately sell them at premium rates for pure profit before legit buyers can even get through the queue. I got in line at the earliest available time and all available tickets were verified resale by the time I got through the queue. All tickets are listed for 2-3X their list. Crooked as hell. They should prevent anyone from selling a ticket for more than list price or 10% higher. Make these scalpers get real jobs.

Terrible refund policy
October 9, 2020

I bought tickets through StubHub and the event ended up being cancelled. I was notified by Live Nation that the refund will go to the original purchaser. I am the current ticket holder and I paid for tickets. The original purchaser was compensated by me!

Live Nation Sold WAY Too Many Tickets!
September 14, 2015

Such a HUGE disappointment! The House of Blues was oversold and we couldn't even catch a glimpse of Nick Jonas without breathing down the neck of a fellow patron. Obviously "standing room only" means get in line two hours before show time or you won't be able to see the show. And to make matters worst, the employees were rude and LOUD! On the flip side, Nick Jonas sounded really good even though we couldn't see him :(

They refuse all cancellations and refunds, even when the situation with covid clearly justifies cancellations.
TicketMaster bought LiveNation and they too are not responding to customer requests for refunds.
Very unacceptable!

Tickets are available but you can't chose which seats you get - and they give the first customers the worst of the available seats. Right in the middle of a row instead of 6 seats in. And there is no recourse or option to get a better seat. The worst part is that there are no options to get tickets for this show.

BOYCOT LiveNation!
June 6, 2023

I purchased 4 tickets and VIP Parking Pass for Dead & Company at Star Lake Amphitheater 6/5/23. After I paid $724 for tickets including over $113 for service fees, they disclosed that the tickets were obstructed view. No way to change seats. Terrible customer service.

In the end, it didn't matter because we got to the show after waiting in traffic for 4.5 hours, only to see last few songs. LiveNation was robocalling ticket holders telling them traffic was a mess. They knew this would be a problem when they sold out the show. People were literally abandoning their cars on the highway. Their business practices are CRIMINAL.

If I could rate LiveNation as a ZERO, I would!
